That's part of my problem - I was getting the error message when I tried to click on iCloud in the Calendar portion of Outlook 2010. I don't know where it was generated (iCloud, iTunes, or as an add-in to Outlook).
After my original post I tried restoring my computer to a date when I knew this worked, the restoration worked, and I can access my calendar. So that problem resolved itself.
I do have another question, but I'll post it separately. Thanks for your response.

My ipod classic (160gb) that is less than two years old (with minimal use) has recently started to act up. It would play a selected song but if I tried selecting another song to play it would simply continue playing the previously selected song and appear to "freeze" at this point. I tried sync'ing my ipod to my itune and when doing (this is my primary concern) I received a message stating my ipod was corrupt and needed to be restored. Upon attempting to restore my ipod I then received the "cannot restore or update in iTunes, error 1439"
I have tried the various recommendations listed for the error on Apple Support but have as of yet been able to resolve the issue. Any help doing so would be greatly appreciated.
*As a side note, I find Apple's lack of simple and straight forward customer service to be appalling. For an item that cost $260, that has seen minimal use and received exceptional care, I shouldn't HAVE to purchase Apple care in order to have issues of this nature addressed.

I tried all of the various recommendations that Apple suggested, iPod: Cannot restore or update in iTunes with error 1415, 1417, 1418, 1428, 1429, 1430, 1436, or 1439 . I actually just got off the phone with technical support (I asked for an exception, as I've never utilized support in the two years I've owned my ipod Classic and I did not feel that the issue was a result of my use and was not about to pay $29.99 to talk to someone about the issue). Turns out that error code 1439 actually indicates a hardware issue and no amount of trouble shooting (from the Apple's guide) is going to resolve the issue.
Unfortunately Apple charges a flat rate $129.99 + shipping and tax, for repairs to ipod Classics (when out of warranty, regardless of the nature of the issue) I'm not sure about the cost for other models. Of course for about an extra $100 I could go out and buy a brand new ipod classic. Obviously SUPER frustrating but I guess at the very least it's an answer and I will discontinue wasting my time trying to make it work.
I feel that it's ridiculous for Apple to put out a product and not offer the customers better support and repair options. My ipod Classic 160gb is less than two years old and was used minimally and gently (I work from home so the only time it really ever was used was in the car or when I traveled). It was never tossed around, dropped, mishandled or exposed to any kind of temperature abuse. In my particular case I feel the hardware issue is in fact a result of a defect with the ipod itself. But it's still going to cost me $129+ to have it fixed?!?!

From an OS9 reference, error -54 is a software lock on a file or a permissions error. (Although there is no formal list of OSX error code some of the old codes still apply to OSX .)
First, try simply restarting your computer.
Try quitting iTunes, then deleting the .xml (not .itl !) version of the library file in the iTunes folder (iTunes will generate a new one).

How to show custom error message in WebADI Excel template?

Hi,
I've created a custom Web ADI integrator and associated it with a 'Procedure' based custom interface.
WebADI Interface API Returns is set to "Error Message".
I'm using raise_application_error(-20001, "Actual Error Message") for invalid rows,but custom error message from PL/SQL is not populated on the excel template.
Instead it is showing "SQL exception occurred during PL/SQL upload".
Am I missing anything? How to show custom error message from Pl/SQL procedure to WebADI Excel template?
