How do i resore the icons for a specific website that are in my bookmarks?

I needed to clear cookies today and when I did I lost all the website icons that are in the bookmarks. How can these be restored? I use them to easily identify them.

Try the following:
Open the Address book normally on your desktop first
Click the Time Machine icon on the dock and wait a few minutes for everything to load in the Star Wars interface
Using the timeline scale at the far right of the window, go back a day or two to a time before you deleted the Address book entry
Click on the Address book window and scroll to find the listing that you need.
If you want to Restore the contact, click Restore at the lower right of the window. This will take you back to the present.
If you do not click Restore, click Cancel at the lower left to get back to the present

It's a long time since I changed an Icon on anything on my computer.
The icon for the App is stored in the App and there are two ways to change it.
You can do a Get Info (CMD and i Keys together) on the app itself and then Paste a new icon to the top field.
The other way is to edit/change the icns file in the App itself.
Right/Control Click the app and choose Show Package Contents.
Open the Contents folder then Resources and the iChat.icns file is in there
I am presuming that if you use the first method - the bit that puts the Red area with the number in it uses something else (possibly the icns file)
I cannot find any "supply" of the red numbers. In fact I use Chax (An iChat Add-On) that changes this to the first part of the first IM that is not read - which suggests the red area is the important bit.
If you do try to edit the .icns file I would save the Original first.

On both your devices go to Settings>iCloud, then scroll down and click "Delete Account". You can then sign back in using your updated details.
Note: "Delete Account" will not delete data from iCloud, it will simply remove the account from your device.

HOW DO I GET THE ICON FOR THE PRINTER FOR A MAC COMPUTER X10 BACK ON DESKTOP?

After printing a document I wanted to go into the printer itself which is a 932C DeskJet Hewlitt Packard and delete the document as do not want to print it out entirely again. I tried listing the pgs.
I wanted but it proceeded to give me the entire thing again so I shut off printer. Need to be able to get to printer pg. and delete document so it doesn't keep printing off entire thing again.

How to specify for JVM the stack for ONE specific thread that invokes JNI

Hello all!
I'm 2 days now looking for a solution in several forums but even in Sun Java Forums nobody was able to come up with a solution. If you know a better forum to place it, please let me know.
Description:
I have an application that launches several threads of different types. One of them is quite specific and run a critical JNI C++ process. The remaining ones are just for controling of other stuff... When I call the application by the command line
java -classpath ... -Xss20m -Djava.library.path ... pack.subpack.myApp
the application usually crashes: My computer has 256MB RAM of memory that vanish in seconds and causes an OutOfMemoryException
Sometimes the application works properly, but sometimes the memory usage goes up fast until a general crash.
What I believe that is going on:
When we declare -Xss20m, I undestand that for each thread the JVM will attemp to allocate more 20MB, and if I have 10 threads, it goes up to 200MB and so on; however I'd like to have 20MB just for my critical process (that is called in one specific thread) and not for any thread.
If I try to reduce -Xss parameter to, let's say 10MB, my C++ process overflow the JVM stack for the thread.
So, does any body have know how to solve it? Please... I need experts help!

Then it works fine since we declare the size of the stack to JVM, however, if we don't... We get a crash!

How do I find the font for a specific character in a textItem?

I'm writing a script that builds a font list for an open document. While I could have lookup the fonts for the file as a whole, my goal is to iterate over specific layerSets to build a font list from. The issue I'm facing, is that referencing:
app.fonts[text[n].textItem.font].name
Only pulls the font name of the first character of the textItem. I need to get the names of all the fonts in the textItem, and while I can successfully loop through each of the letters, they do not have the character attributes associated with them.
I tried this: app.fonts[text[n].textItem.contents.font].name
As well as many iterations of a similar idea, and I cannot get it to pull the font name, as it's not an attribute of each character. I apologize if this is a remedial question, but I'm a bit of a novice with javascript in Adobe programs.
For an example of what I'm trying to acheive, I was easily able to do this in illustrator, by using the following statement:
fontName = text.characters[j].characterAttributes.textFont.name;
When placed in a loop, this goes through each font in the text Layer.

This should get a list of the fonts used in Type Layers in the selected Group.

How do I remove the icon for file version 4.42.0.0 since it will not even download?

For quite awhile I have successfully used file version 34.0.5 with no issues. Recently, I had an icon the popped up on my desktop for file version 4.42.0.0. I tried to download it, just so it would move to my control panel, so I that I could uninstall it, It will not download. So, then I uninstalled, and reinstalled 34.0.5 to see if that would solve the issue of installing 4.42.0.0, no still nothing. I really don't want or need 4.42.0.0, so how do I get rid of it ?

So it seems there is no simple or straightforward solution: a) you have to hire someone with specialist skills and b) even when you have paid someone to do the job, you then have to hope that iTunes will approve it (and if they don't, then the money has been poured down the drain). How can I store the cover for a cd-compilation that I compiled by myself in itunes?

I have many CDs compiled by myself. I have also created artwork files. However, when I link the CD with Itunes the CD appears in the album list.
Right click on the album icon, select Info, type in artist and album title. click on the cover whie field and search via browse for the corresponding cover. Drag and drop it here and it is visible. The box is ticked next to the cover. If I click thereafter "OK" the new created albuim gets the name and artist I had typed in but the cover disappears. Is it with Itunes version 11.1.3.8 possible? It is somehow annoying that I see the field to link in a cover but can't get it stored there on a "permanent" base.
Please don't be to rude with me, I'm brand new in this community and use a PC to help me a little bit in my daily life.
Any help is appretiated.

I can only point you to a site for downloading, but most likely your PC cant update it. It is a matter of chicken and egg, which comes first.
But I think what you need is to downgrade to a vintage ITunes version, which can recognise your vintage iPod.

How do change the title of a song or its genre?

You should be able to edit any of a song's metadata elements (including title and genre) using right-click > Get Info. In the new iTunes 12 dialog, the Genre field should allow you to type in a genre or select from a dropdown (which offers a combination of iTunes' built-in genres + those you've defined yourself):
If you SHIFT right-click > Get Info you can also access the "old style" dialog and enter the genre there.
Are you unable to enter the genre, or having done so is the value held by iTunes not being updated? If the latter, then you may have an issue with the permissions on your media files or the files may be set to read-only.
