My download of numbers and imovie were paused and now I can't restart either. How do I get them restarted?

And did this after:
I3=IF(IFERROR(MATCH(A3, Lottery Drawing :: $A$2:$F$2, 0), 0)>0, 1, 0)
select I2 and fill to the right by grabbing the little circle at the bottom right of the selected cell, then drag to the right through N3.... grab mean click and hold)
now select cells G3 through N3, and fill down (again , by grabbing the little circle at the bottom right of the selection and draggin down as needed)

I just bought Mountain Lion a few days ago, and it started downloading happily in the launch pad but around 25% downloaded, my system restarted as another software component was doing an update and forced a restart. Ever since then, I can go back to the Mountain Lion feature in the app store, click Download, and re-enter my credentials, but then it just sits there. I then try clicking "Download" again and the little spinner spins for a second or so, then nothing. No new download in the launch control window, no obvious download point of Mountain Lion.
So how can I force my MBP (running Lion) to restart this download & install?

Thanks! This was the key I needed. It didn't work on first try, but once I signed out, restarted, then signed back in to the store, it did start... it's downloading now!

That usually doesn't happen (unless you do not use automatic login) unless you boot into Safe Mode. When prompted do you enter your admin password? What happens when you do that?

I agree cwclark, I was going to ask the exact same thing, and yes, the only way to 'restart' the auto play is to reload the page which is frustrating to say the least. Every other site I've seen with this kind of 'auto-play' slide show still auto-plays even after clicking the 'next' or 'previous' buttons. Adobe, you need to get a fix for this ASAP

Hold down the power button until the screen goes black if it's really necessary.
In your case, you can force quit.
When an app won't quit as it should, click Force Quit from your Apple  drop down menu or press Option + Command + Esc.
Select the app then click Force Quit.
That way it's not necessary to shut down your Mac.

Before iTunes 11, a symbol would appear in individual podcast lists showing that the sender requires you to confirm that you still wish to receive their podcast. This used to occur with all my BBC podcasts once a week usually at the weekend.
Now with iTunes 11 this control seems to have disappeared. Tried all the new icons but nothing seems to do this.
Now (as its Saturday) all my BBC podcasts have stopped as there appears no way to reconfirm that I still want to automatically receive them.

Here are typical layouts for the iTunes folders:
With iTunes 11 you might also have a Home Videos folder inside iTunes Media.
In the simplest cases you copy the entire iTunes folder from <User's Music> on the source computer to <User's Music> on the target machine, install iTunes, and it "just works"TM.
If the media folder (inside the red outline) has been split out to a separate location then you can copy the library folder (outside the red outline) as before and connect the drive holding the media so that it has exactly the same path as before. If the drive appears as D: on one system and E: on the other then the library won't be able to find the media.
The crucial file is iTunes Library.itl - this contains a record of the tracks that have been added to the library, ratings, play counts, playlists etc.
