How do I restart the downloading process?
My computer is stating that the disk image is failing to mount and error 105 is occuring. Will restarting the downloading process help? If so, how do I restart it?

I am renting a movie via itunes to Apple TV and accidently stopped the download, I cant see where to restart download. I have tried to check it out in Settings but cant get any info in regards to "check for rentals"
There must be a way i can view the download and determine how long and re-start the process.
Any ideas would be most appreciated.

I want to restart my download because it has been about an hour. How do I do that?
I bet that's it. Their servers are probably jam packed!!!! Actually it just froze and stopped fluxuating so I paused it and resumed it and then the time remaining dropped to just over 30 minuites! Now it's picking up alittle speed. Never fear!

How can I restart the conversion process?
When I installed I-tunes the program started converting my WMA files to the AAC format. I let it run all day but at the end of the day I had to shut down the computer, so I stopped the process figuring it would restart when I restarted the program the next day. It does not do that. The only way I can find to do the conversion is one album at a time. Is there a way to restart the automatic conversion process?
Compaq Presario v5000 Windows XPI don't know of an automated way to do it, but it is easy enough to do it yourself in one large batch. Note I use a Mac version of iTunes and still use iTunes6, but the following should be more or less the same anyway.
Right click the headings in your library and you will get a pop up of all the different headings. Turn on "Type" by checking it. Type is a column showing the encoding method (e.g. AAC, MP3, AIFF, WAV, etc.). Now you can click on this heading to sort your library by encoded Type. So now all the WAV files should be grouped together. You can now easily select the entire batch of WAV files, right click, and pick "Convert to xxx" where xxx is the encoder type you currently have set in your preferences for importing files. So if it is not in the format you want, go to preferences and change it. Once you pick the Convert function it will convert all the selected files to the new format.
Note that converting makes a copy leaving the original in place. So the other advantage of having the ability to sort and select a large number of files by Type is that you can also select all the WAV files to delete in one step after you have converted them all.

Uaually when you purchase something from the app store and it has downloaded, you see an install button. I found nothing of that nature. I have a late model 2009 mac mini with plenty of memory and plenty of disk space. What am I missing?
Never mind, I see it's Mountain Lion.
Can you check in your Applications Folder to see if the installer is still there. You are confused on some things, because the installer should be giving you a DOWNLOAD text on the purchases page, not install. -

I have tried to download a film, the connection kept failing. It now states "processing" and doesn't complete. I have tried a different network and turning the Ipad off and on. How can I reset / restart the download please.

Just when it gets about finished downloadIng, the app restarts the download, and this process keeps going and going. I did everything that apple suggested, but nothing works. I am downloading the Creative Cloud desktop app on my Mac, and it starts to download but just stalls in the process and doesn't get any closer to finishing. Anyone have any suggestions. I've restarted my computer multiple times and restarted the download, but to no avail.

How do I restart iOS download after internet crashes without having to start from the beginning.
My internet crashes and stops downloading the iOS restore software for my phone. When I try to restart the download, it starts from the beginning. How can I get it to cary on from where it left off? Why doesn't it do this automatically!?

What you can do in such a case is:
* Move the old .part partial download and the 0 byte final file without the .part to another location.<br />
* Start a new download and pause it, don't close Firefox.<br />
* Copy the two files (.part and 0 byte final) that you moved above back to the download location to replace the new files that were created.<br />
* Resume the download in Firefox. -
Cannot update my jail broken iPad2 & iPhone 4S to 5.1
An unknown error message cancels the download process. Could you please inform me how to fix this issue? What is also odd is the fact that the update through iTunes is substantially bigger than downloading it directly OTA, although both methods have been unsuccessful so far...
Thanks!About the only thing you can try is using the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall Lion on your Mac over the top of the current install. that will reset all system files and should not touch your personal files or the apps you have installed.
Or iof you have a recent Time Machine backup use that to restore your Mac to that point in time.
