How do I restore an image back to its original form?

Is Aperture 3 supposed to be non-destructive? If so, how do I restore an image back to its original form? I'm out of undo's and I need to get rid of some stuff.

You have a few choices here
1. The "m" key will show you the master image without adjustments, not remove them;
2. Right click an image and using the contextual menu, select reset all adjustments, removes them;
3. Same menu, create new version, allows you to have multiple versions each with unique adjustments, B&W, cropping etc.

You can download everything you purchased from the iTunes Store without having to pay again:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Here is the procedure for your reference, using iTunes 10.7. The procedure and screenshots for newer versions are contained in the above link.
This assumes what you purchased is still available in the Store.
Open iTunes and click on iTunes Store on the left
On the right you will see this
Sign in with your Apple ID, then click on "Purchased" (with the orange blob)
On the summary page that appears select the tab "Not on This Computer" on the right.
On the list that appears, select what you want and then click the "Download" button.

You don't need to do that. Please post a screenshot that shows what you mean. Be careful not to include any private information.

  • How do I convert a processed image back to its original RAW

I work with designers who like to see a processed, edited DNG, but then they need to go back to the original RAW and re-crop, change color balance etc. depending on the job. How can they do that in Photoshop?!
    Thanks!
    Alison TB

In camera raw, if you press Q you can get a split screen to see a before after. If you look at the bottom right of the image you will see some icons those you can click to alter the preview. If you look to the right of the bar for each tab on right side of dialog box is a small icon, there you can choose custom, image, default, etc. Which allows you to click back and forth between the views. Finally holding down the alt or opt key will change the cancel button at the bottom to a reset button.

  • Pictures was block how can i retrive it or back ot its original settings?

its started went i want to erase one of the tag pictures for me,i want to delete it because i dont know that person.but i dont have the way to erase so i decided to block it.unfortunately all my pictures in my albums was not viewed by myself.how can i back it to original settings?thank you and more power!

*A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (<i>Site Identification</i> icon) on the left side of the location bar.
*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Open the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Page Info" window.
*Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
*You can see the permissions for the domain in the current tab in Tools > Page Info > Permissions

  • How do i change an iMovie file back to its original form?

I have recently made a project on iMovie for my Duke Of Edinburgh challenge. I was trying it out and it was working. But when i tried putting on to youtube, the site told me that it must be a different form i.e. .MOV. so i went and changed it from .rcproject to .MOV and then posted it to youtube. I then deleted it from youtube to try to edit it a bit more; but my laptop went flat. Once I turned my computer back on, I tried opening the project, but it still is not opening. What do I do? Please help me, this project is due in for tomorrow!

  • How do I reconvert a pdf back to its original format?

    Hello All,
Something strange has taken place when I either download a pdf from the Web, or create a pdf for one of my own proprietary files.  Instead of becoming a regular pdf with the Adobe icon, they become a pdf in Illustrator format, with an AI icon.  I can open them, but I have to work within the Illustrator format, which only allows one page to be viewed at a time; for example, if I have a 10 page document I have to close Illustrator and then open it again to view each page.
I have tried opening these AI/pdfs in Acrobat and then doing a Save As ... but the document still remains in AI format.  What I'm concerned about is that I'm going to upload my portfolio onto a domain site, and that I may have technical problems because the pdfs are not in their original format, but in an AI format.
I have Vista Home Premium and Adobe Pro 8, which is part of my CS3 Creative Suite.  Can someone out there give me some guidance on how I can correct this problem?  All responses very much appreciated.  Thanks.

    Hello All,
I have followed your suggestions, and what happens is that there is no
option box to check.  I have tried Save As . . . Once I'm in Acrobat, I
think that Save As . . . will reset the program correctly, but it does not.
I still end up with the Illustrator icon on the pdf.  I repeat there is no
option box to check within Win Exp.  I have Vista OS.  Thanks for any
further suggestions to try and correct these file associations. Does this
    require a registry cleaner?

  • How to MATCH FRAME a SUBCLIP back to its ORIGINAL CLIP?

What is the trick here in fcp to matching back into the source clip from which a subclip was made?
Is there a keystroke/button that will locate the master clip?
    Thanks.

Hey! In a round-about kinda way, removing sub-clip limits seems to work...have to reload the subclip entry into the viewer window, but at least it shows the rest of the master clip.
    Any other ideas out there?

I have Lightroom 5 on my iMac with OS X 10.9.5. I have lost all my (10,500 pics) "developed" settings. Every picture went back to its original setting. How can I restore? Please help.  Thanks,  GY

Thank you for your questions/advice. The answer for your 1st question is yes, and "may be" to your 2nd question.  Fortunately, I had exported the recently developed photos into my external head drive. After reverting back to the original catalog, I have re-imported those developed photos. Now everything is restored. I need to learn more about the subtleties in using the Lightroom.
    Thanks again,

  • How to restore a 3TB imac fusion drive back to its original state?

I bought a 27"imac with a 3TB fusion drive which stopped working. Ended up having to boot from the internet and since my HD stopped working and wasn't being found by disk utility I erased it using Disk Utility an re-installed OS X. Did OSX automatically get installed in the 128gb SSD drive (under disk util i only see one macintosh hard drive with another one under its first branch but there is no separate ssd drive)?
Also, since then my imac's hard drive haven't stopped making a constant cranking noise as if it's working non-stop (unless the computer goes into sleep mode). Is this normal? Anything I can do to bring it back to its original state?

The problem is that I bought my computer in the US and brought it with me to my home in Brazil and over here it's going to take a long time to get it fixed or repair/replace parts if it's necessary. Any other procedure I can try on my own before throwing the towel and taking it in?
    Thanks
