How do I restore applications deleted in error?

I was trying to upload a bunch of pictures. They were all saved to my desktop and I wanted to move them. Some how I copied every image on my computer and it was uploading to my iphoto. When I noticed how long it was taking I realized it was trying to upload 10,000+ items. I deleted all of those items to try and stop it and moved them to the trash. I then deleted the trash. Well along with that a bunch of applications were deleted (including iphoto) and all of my pictures. I realize I may not be able to get those back but I would like for my applications to be back to what they were. The only problem is I don't exactly know everything that was missing...HELP!!!

Go to to your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder in the Finder and then enter Time Machine. Go back to the last backup that has the domain file, select it and use the Restore button.

First, setup a different ID for your wife so you can maintain independent contacts, messages, icloud backups, etc. There is no cost, and it will keep you from having another disappearing contact issue again.
You can't retrieve contacts that have been deleted. The addresses you see are cached and can simply be added back as new contacts once you each have your own independent ID set up on each phone.
You can however use 1 Apple ID for your iTunes and App Store purchases so you don't need to pay twice for the same apps.

If you have accidentally removed bookmarks then use "Organize > Undo" in the bookmarks manager (Bookmarks > Organize Bookmarks) to get them back.
The Organize button is the first of the three buttons on the toolbar in the Library (Bookmarks Manager).
That only works if you haven't closed Firefox.
Otherwise you need to restore the bookmarks from a JSON backup.
That will replace all the current bookmarks and you lose bookmarks that were added since that backup was created.

In iTunes 11 you have the option to turn the Sidebar and the Status Bar on or off; they are off by default. To do this in the menus, go to:
Show Sidebar - Choose View > Show Sidebar (this feature will display iTunes features on the left side of the application including Library, Store, Shared, Genius, and Playlists).
Show Status Bar - Choose View > Show Status Bar (this feature will conveniently display the number of items and playback time for a category, for example, music or movies).
Once you have the device selected, navigate to the Music pane and either uncheck the box for Sync Music to remove all of the music on your iPod shuffle or select Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres and only check the choices you want. I accidentally deleted one of my calendars. How can I restore it from time machine?

I'm not sure why it didn't work. I deleted the old Calendar folder and then replaced it with a Time Machine version of the same folder from the previous day. Then I opened iCal and there was still nothing there.
The reason I just deleted Calendar folder and it's sub-folders and tried to start from scratch is because I could tell which sub-folder was for any one specific calendar since the sub-folder names were in some sort of code.

My problem is: I began to change all my music to mp3 then deleted the m4p files from my library (approx 500 songs). The reason for this is that I have Sandisk MP3 player that will not play m4p format. My reasoning for deleting the m4p files was that I didn't see a reason for keeping duplicate music files since itunes plays both. I noticed when dowloading from store that it still formats in m4p and i lost the records for my previously purchased music from store. I'm not sure the best approach to managing these music files. I'm thinking that restoring itunes back to m4p files for itunes and moving the mp3 files to another folder for use with sandisk mp3 player. All my m4p files are in my recycle bin so can recover them easily but how can I restore these files to my itunes library???

Once you restore the files simply drag them back into iTunes and you should be all set. Or click on File and then click on Add a File or Folder and choose the folder where all of the files are located and iTunes will add them automatically.
