Instead of turning it off, try a reset. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo.

The apple ID was his personal account and can no longer gain access. Im sure I can get purchase recipts from the accounting department if needed. I tried to put the Ipad in restore mode and used itunes to "recover" the ipad but it still wont let me in because he registered the device with the "lost iphone" feature or whatever that is.

How do I restore data for a single APP? I don't want everything restored.

Starting over.....
Assume I've backed up everything: iTunes copies data and apps from the iPhone into 2 different locations in the PC.
Then assume I delete app XYZ from my iPhone.
If I connect to iTunes, reselect app XYZ and place it on the virtual iPhone image in say, page 3, then I press "Apply", the "sync" feature will restore/resinstall ONLY this single app, which is good. HOwever it doesn NOT restore the associated data that was created when I backed up. This is iTUNES stupidity.
HOW do I restore this data? Does "restore from backup" retore EVERYTHING that was backed up. If it does that's HORRIBLE.

Example of no cursor. Any website, such as youtube, there is no cursor in the box, and there are no letters when I type, but the system recognizes what I type. As for e-mail, hotmail works o.k., but with yahoo the boxes for username and password are too small, there is no cursor and I can't type anything. With gmail, there is no cursor, but I can type my username and password.

I have a Mac Pro and MacBook Pro, both running Mountain Lion. My two Yahoo mail accounts are successfully set up via Mail on both Macs. I was able to use the "Use this Mailbox for..." command to assign the Drafts, Sent and Trash for each account to the respective Yahoo folders (so I don't have duplicate folders). The problem is trying to do the same for the Bulk Mail folders.
On my Mac Pro, I was able to successfully select the Yahoo Bulk Mail folders for each account and use "Use this Mailbox for... --> Junk" and it worked, no problems. On the MacBook Pro, however, when I attempt to do the same thing, it doesn't seem to take. Nothing happens...the Bulk Mail folder in each account remains separate in each account's folders, instead of moving up under the Mailboxes above the VIPs, Drafts, Sent and Trash.
I've tried Rebuilding the mailboxes, and eventually deleting the accounts and re-adding them to Mail on the MBP...still can't get the Bulk Mail folders to assign to Junk. The others (Drafts, Sent, Trash), no problems.
Suggestions?

With Yahoo! Mail attachments are put together in zip format I can't open, but when I switch to Internet Explorer these same attachments open easily as Word or PDF files; how cn I fix?

Two recent emails (Yahoo! Mail) each contained multiple attachments which were presented to me as zip files which were in a format that my computer could neither open or convert to files I could open. One was two Word documents; the other was five one-page PDFs. I tried with Firefox on two different computers with same results. When I switched to Internet Explorer, I was able to open the attachments each as separate Word or PDF files, with no trouble. Am I doing something wrong?

same e-mail to my Gmail account I was able to open it without a
problem.

I didn't think yahoo used any Flash in their standard mail
client (other than for the ads). But they also have a paid-option
mail client called 'Mail Plus' that I've never seen.
I haven't been able to repro any problems with attachments
and the standard mail client.
So I don't see it. However, I have an internal discussion
started with yahoo and I'll mention it so they can have somebody
test.

How can I restore icons for apps to my iPod Touch? After the OS upgrade, I had to reload apps. Some apps now do not show (can find in search but I want the icons back).

I upgraded to iOS 5.1 and had to reload all my apps. They take more than the max allowed pages so I had some in folders prior to upgrade. Now some do not appear. I can search but they are commonly used apps & I want to restore the icon to the screen. How can they be restored? I now have enough in folders that there is room for all the icons.

I have an on-click swap image, which I do not restore, as I want it to be clear which element has been selected if the user moves their pointer away. However, if the user clicks a different element, I then want to restore the image in the first. How do I achieve this? There are 8 separate clickable elements, and it isn't a nav bar.

What I mainly did was revise the link tags to use onmouseup as the indicator of a click being completed on an image, which triggers the MM_swapImage() function that DW creates when you use their built-in image rollover offering. I eliminated the MM_swapImgRestore() function and call to it that DW normally also creates. The swapImage function stays the same except for the addition of one line to call the function I added. The function I added, NM_restoreAllImages(), while it could be refined (becoming cryptic to try to read), serves to return all images back to their original ones.

Since replacing the hard drive on my IMac I have installed (and run)DiskWarrior and Sophos Anti Virus. I am not sure at what point it happened but we can no longer get the sound for interviews, youtube music, etc. I checked Itunes and it works.

3) Quit all applications to ensure nothing is actively using Flash. You can even do the next step while booted to Safe Mode to make sure.

Does anyone know how to slow the audio for published project

I have been using Bridget in Captivate 7 with a VTML speed of 95 which in development sounds normal and the appropriate speed but when I published the project, its like she goes through the narration quick.
I see it happens only when the sentences are extremely short for example Step 1: Select tool but if it is two line sentences, the speed is normal.
Is there a way for me to address this vs. redoing the whole speech syntax?
