Hi all, I have accidentally deleted all my photos after I exported them into my laptop. Never did I know that by deleting them in my Laptop, I have actually deleted them in my IPad as well.

Photos should be included with your computer's backup along with all other important data.
When deleting the photos from your computer that were transferred to your iPad or when deselecting Sync Photos under the Photos tab for your iPad sync preferences with iTunes, a warning message is provided indicating the photos on your iPad will be removed which must be approved beforehand.

I´ve created a new paste and transfered some existing photos to the new paste. It was ok. I checked the photos and they were in the two pastes. So I went to the main photo paste and deleted the photos that I had transfered to the new one. When I confirmed if it was all done, all photos that I transfered was deleted from the new paste too! 3 months of photos of my 7months baby boy!

When you delete a photo from your Camera Roll that you have also copied to a new album on your iPhone, you get a warining:
Delete everywhere These photos are used in an album. Do you want to delete them from everywhere?
Did you get that message and then select Delete Everywhere?

How can I delete photos from iPad but not iCloud?

Before setting up iCloud, my girlfriend downloaded photos from her camera to her iPad. We now have iCloud set up, but the photos on her iPad remain in the "Photos" album instead of Photo Stream. I would like to delete the photos from the iPad to free up storage space, and move them to the Macbook. I'm guessing that I would need to somehow move them to Photo Stream then delete the old album where they were stored on the iPad... Any ideas?

How do I reorganize my photos on iPad 2? I need to move (not copy) photos from one album to another. When I use the copy function to another album, and then try to delete an image from the original album, the system wants to delete the photos from all albums. Please help.

You can't do it directly on the iPad - the new album functionality basically only allows you to copy photos into those new albums, you can't move them. The way that I think of it as working is that you are just creating pointers to the photos in those new albums, so if you then delete the original photo on the iPad you therefore automatically delete all the pointers to it.
If you want to re-organise your albums then you will need to do it on your computer and then sync those albums over to the iPad

How do I delete photos in iPad not currently in ITunes?

I'm doing this for wife who has iPad, (1st gen; not new iPad 2). When she got it she wanted, "her photos," from her computer in her iPad. Happy to accomodate, I managed to load all 3,000 photos from her Nikon Picture Project software into her iPad. Now she does not want that many and I've been trying for a month to delete all of them. They are not in iTunes or I'd uncheck them there and re-synch, which, I'm told would wipe them out.
I simply don't know how to delete them.
Can anyone help? Thanks,

HERE IS THE ANSWER: Use your Mac computer and open the "Preview" application. 1. Connect your iPad (and/or iPhone).
2. Open the application named "Preview" on your Mac (Click on the Macintosh HD icon or open the Finder application and search for the application named "Preview," then click on the application to open it. Or look under Macintosh HD > Applications > Preview.)
2. In the Preview application toward the very top of your screen, click File > Import From Camera (then click on the name of your iPad or iPhone)...
3. Near the lower left corner of the Preview application, click on the icon with the four tiny squares. That will give you a better view of all of your pictures.
4. Select the pictures you want to delete.
5. Click on the red delete icon at the bottom of the screen. (Looks like a red circle with a slash through it.) That will delete the pictures.
This works for iPhone, but not iPad. No pictures show up in preview as they do with iPhone.
BTW, Command/Click, as usual, allows multiple photo selections and then click Delte button to delete many photos.
Too bad this doesn't work for iPad.
