How do I restore deleted podcasts?

I was trying to clear some space on my HDD and, my 110GB iTunes library being the worst offender, I decided to move a lot of podcasts onto DVDs. Having burned them to disc, I deleted all but the most recent episode, but just before emptying the recycle bin, I thought it would be nice to print the page showing the title and "information" to store with the disc, so I "restored" them from the recycle bin. Unfortunately, they were restored back to the library system folder, but not to the podcast page, i.e., they don't show up when I click the icon for that particular podcast. I closed and re-opened iTunes, then un-subscribed and re-subscribed, but all I have now is the one episode I didn't delete and the ten most recent episodes showing with "get" buttons, i.e., not downloaded. Any way to move these "restored" files from the system folder back to where they were when I deleted them? Can't imagine that it would matter, but I'm still/again running Ver. 9.0.1.8, because of some problems I had when I briefly updated to 10. All of the files in question were created by the version I'm running - or, of course, earlier versions. It won't be the end of the world if I can't restore them and print that sheet, but I thought this might be an interesting challenge for an otherwise boring Tuesday night. First correct answer gets a free fly fishing lesson. Thanks.

The title and description aren't stored in the media file, but in the feed, so moving the files around won't help. The only way to get this information is to subscribe to the podcast. (You can open the panes containing the descriptions but not copy the contents out as text: you would have to make a screen shot and print it as an image). If the podcast originator has removed episode from the feed you can't get access to the info.
If you can find the originator's website you might find the older episodes there. Looking for the podcast in the Store would be the best way to find this, since there is often a link. In many cases episodes after a certain number are moved to an Archive page, and removed from the feed. The descriptions are often on the web pages, and in that case you would be able to copy, paste and reformat the text.

If you've previously synced the pictures to a computer (as is generally advised to archive them), then they are gone, unless you have backed up the device to itunes or icloud.  If so, you need to perform a restore:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  This will erase your phone.  Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your phone is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.
Note that you cannot restore just one file, it's all or nothing.

  • How Can I Restore Deleted Query?

    Hi, gurus.
Can anybody tell me How Can I Restore Deleted Query?
    Help me plz.

If it has only been deleted from the role and not the object completely then it could still be found within infoareas in Bex, if the object has been deleted completely you could re-transport the query from the development system assuming it was created her in the first instance.
I'm not sure if you can retrieve the query any other way, i do know there are procedures for workbook retrieval but for querys im not certain.

How do I restore deleted photos from my icloud account?

If the photos were in your camera roll album when you last backed up to iCloud you could recover them by restoring to your backup.  If you want to do this, restoring to an iCloud backup has to be done in the initial setup process.  If you have any data on your phone now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first.  Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  You will then go through the setup screens as you did when the phone was new. When given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below).  Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.

  • How to recover/restore deleted calendar?

    How to recover/restore deleted calendar?

Actually, restore deleted calendar got the same steps as restore deleted messages. You must be a Microsoft Exchange Server account.
1.In the folder from which the item was deleted, or in the Deleted Items folder, on the Folder tab, in the Clean Up group, click Recover Deleted Items.
Note: If the Recover Deleted Items command is missing
An Exchange account is required for this command to appear. If you are using an Exchange account and don’t see the command, contact your Exchange administrator.
2.Click an item, and then click Recover Selected Items .
Note: Your Exchange administrator specifies the retention time for deleted items. After this time elapses, deleted items cannot be restored.

HOW CAN I RESTORE THEM, THEY ARE NOT LISTED IN THE APP STORE????

    Hey Clyde71,
Thanks for the question. From your description, it sounds like various Account Settings have been greyed out in your Settings application (iCloud, Facebook, Twitter). The cause for these being greyed out is a restriction setup on your iPhone. You'll probably see that Restrictions are turned "On" in Settings > General.
You'll want to disable the restriction "Allow Changes: Accounts". For more information on restrictions, see this article:

  • Restoring deleted podcasts from the trash

    Hello,
I made a big boo-boo. I was deleting some old episodes from one of my podcasts and accidentally deleted not just those episodes from that podcast but also entire podcasts.
All of the files are still in the trash. I'm hoping that there is some way that I can restore the podcasts and their episodes to my iTunes Library from the trash.
    Thanks for any help,
    Jay

    Hi Limnos,
Thanks for offering your suggestion. Rather than messing with the podcast files in the trash and possibly causing more harm by manually moving those files around (I learned my lesson years ago to let iTunes manage the files in the library), I decided to re-subscribe to the missing podcasts and re-downloading their episodes. Maybe I'm being chicken, but I just didn't want a bigger mess on my hands.
    Thanks for the help!

  • How  can I restore deleted certificates?

How can I restore certificates that I accidently deleted?

Do you have a backup you could restore your keychain from? If Time Machine, go to Finder and select your user/home folder. With that Finder window as the front window, either select Finder/View/Show View options or go command - J.  When the View options opens, check ’Show Library Folder’. That should make your user library folder visible in your user/home folder. Then go to Library/Keychains, enter Time Machine, and restore the folder.
