How do I restore iWeb from saved,from my hard drive, from the web itself?

I have my iweb work files, a "saved" version that I can recver the iweb version, an iinternallly store FTP like folder and the actual site itself online
I am unclear how they all work together? for backup and restore.
For example I wnto create links on my real site. Buu I suspect that thy cnnot be fully tested until i uzse the real online version.
Can I use the interna foder versio to replace the live web site? and how to do that.
CanI test external links from the internal folder version.
Then can I update the live site from that internal folder back up.?
The manual is notoriously silent on all tbis. and with the demise of Mobile me, may well be gone too.

Use the File ➙ Publish to a Folder menu option in iWeb 2:
If you want to backup your website the file that needs to be backed up is the Domain.sites file that resides in your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. That file is the most important file of your website.

In the future if I were to switch to the online LR5 and cloud service could I continue using my PC's hard drive where the photos and catalogs are and have a backup on the Adobe cloud? If yes, is there a way to save all changes to both the local hard drive and cloud? If these two sets of work by synchronized? How does this work?

The Adobe Creative Cloud is not something used with LR how you’re imagining. CC is a licensing and software-delivery mechanism, not a place to store your current working photos in large numbers or a place to run software from or in.
LR CC is not software run in the cloud via a thin client, it’s still just desktop LR licensed via logging into CC with your AdobeID.
LR and your photos are stored locally just like with the serial-number-licensed LR. You can sync local photos back and forth to an iPad via the cloud and you can store a few photos or other project-related files in the 2GB cloud storage, but that’s about it for what the cloud adds.

In OS9 I could click on the clipart image and a menu appeared where I could "save as" and it would go to the desktop. In 10.5, if I click on the image, nothing happens. Hold down the control (ctrl) key and click on the image. Then you will get the menu to allow you to save the image.
OR just drag the image from the page to the desktop (or a folder).

How do I remove hierarchies from the web version (11.1.1.2.103)?

I am hiding some hierarchies from end users in the client by setting their Limb and Leaf Access to None and having success. However, when I check the web (view only) version the hierarchies are still showing in the dropdown. How can I hide them on the web was well? Double check on the NAG selected against the Web version, don't recall exactly, it's been a while I have seen the client based version.
With respect to ordering the Hierarchies, please assign a value (order number) for the hierarchy level property "Hierarchy Sort Order "against each hierarchy.

Your best bet is probably to just do a full system restore, per #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions. Note: that will restore the copy of OSX from your backups, overlaying the recent Snow Leopard installation.
That will let you select the backup you want to restore from; if you use Setup Assistant or Migration Assistant, there's no choice -- the most recent one is used automatically.

Can I restore my system after replacing my hard drive with the original leopard discs, then use my time machine backup (with Snow Leopard) to finish the restore?

I am replacing my original 100gb hard drive for a 500gb. I am currently running OS X.6.7. I understand the process of how to install the new drive and restore the system from the disc. What I am unsure of is whether I need the Snow Leopard disc or can I use the original Leopard discs and then plug in my time machine backup to complete the restore?

Confused, I went to a Firefox page that explained to me about "add-ons", and, after looking through some of the add-ons available, I downloaded one labeled, "download helper" and followed the tutorial exactly, yet still, I was not able to download any videos. This forces me to ask two questions -> #1) Why would Firefox make available an add-on labeled, "download helper" that doesn't download anything? ....... #2) Why would Firefox not include the option to download videos from websites? ------- The internet was invented for the sole purpose of sharing information; The only way to retrieve this information is to download it; The most popular form of information downloaded is videos; Yet, with Firefox, the ability to perform the most widely used method, of the most popular form of entertainment, is not included with its internet browser. This would be comparable to a grocery store not selling bread, milk or eggs. Please explain.......

I use Safari, and when I right-mouse click on some videos, there will be an option to download.

Hey, I just switched to Mac. On my PC, if you just right-clicked an image on the internet, you could save it to your computer. I can't figure out how to do this on my new mac.

Well there are actually three ways of doing this.
1) Put two fingers on the trackpad and click the mouse
2) Get a USB Mouse, and you'll have right click.
3) go to System Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse > put a check in all the boxes under "Trackpad Gestures" except the two sub boxes under Clicking. Now that you have done this put two fingers on the trackpad at the same time and the right click menu will show.

Consider the link:
