How do I restore my iphone which is disabled?

I just find one iPhone but it has a password.. i tryed to put it on Restore Mode but iTunes doesnt let me to restore, it says that my phone isnt elegible for this firmware, what shoud i do? i can't use this phone so?

Did you bother to contact the carrier this phone was using in an effort to return the phone to its rightful owner? That's what you should have done.

That's an indication this iPhone was "hacked". If that's the case, you may never be able to install a stock firmware on the phone. Regardless, there is no support here for hacked iPhones.
