Please help a non-technical Gran! One of my apps has disappeared off the icon screens of my ipod touch.The App store says it is installed so I cant reinstall it.How can I get it back please?

The App store icon can't be deleted, but it can be moved. Check other screens or within existing folders. Also, check Settings - General - Restrictions - Install Apps

Delete the App Store app by dragging it and dropping it into the Trash. Then download and install the appropriate update combo for your version of OS X;

I put new sim card (omantel -prepaid) but some msgs. is came.( The sim card that you currently have installed in this phone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. If you are accessing emails from multiple devices, you are better off using the IMAP protocol. Then the devices sync with the server and they are all looking at the same information. With POP, you are going to get your emails spread about, some on Outlook, some on the iPad. It could get very confusing.

One of my app's has changed it's icon

Mac DVD Ripper Pro (MDRP): Usually when the transfer is finished, it will appear using a "dvd" icon. Recently it changed to plain paper with a corner turned.
I brought this up with MDRP, and they said there was nothing wrong with the app & I was 'the only one with this problem".
It doesn't interfere with my playing what I have transferred. That works fine. But I'm picky and this bothers me. I now feel it happened after I installed the latest update 10.7.3.- NOT after MDRP's 3.1 update, which was also recent.
Any thoughts?

What the number is labeled has nothing to do with your ability to Facetime or iMessage and has nothing to do with how you're charged. It's for your convenience only.
I sync my contacts via Exchange and can't label anything 'iPhone". It's never caused a problem.

How do I restore or recover purchased items that have disappeared from my iTunes?

I have a number of purchased items from iTunes that appear in my overall list with an ! (exclamation point) in front of them. They can't be located on the computer. I see them in my purchased list (also with the exclamation point).
Is there a way to restore or recover them?

I have a similar situation. My iPhone 4 was running 6.1.2 and looked normal this morning. After 1 hour, I noticed the same screen problem, distorted colors, x-ray like pictures and the previous picture/screen mixed with current picture/screen. I have tried to reset to factory & restore and just reset to factory but those didn't help. Then I upgraded to 6.1.3 but it still didn't help.

Your toolbar? Mountain Lion is downloaded from the App Store, not a browser.
Launch the App Store then click Purchases from the menu at the top of the window.
You may need to click Store > Sign In (top of the App Store window) in order to view your purchases.

HP CN245B Photosmart all in one wireless e-printer B110a HAS DISAPPEARED from my computer?!

Please help this Techno-phobe!! My printer is no longer listed in Devices & Printers (so, obviously, will not print!). Went to HP Solution centre & found a download that is supposed to fix this problem - specs included Windows 7 64bit (which mine is) - downloaded, saved, then went to run it & it came up with a box saying "Not intended for Windows 7"??!!! Have re-run the set-up CD, tried turning off my firewall, all with no result. Went to e-mail HP support, but they cannot find my registration (I did register the product & have the e-mail confirmation to prove it!). It's Sunday, so no telephone support - I have lots of printing I need to get down......can anyone help in words of one syllable please?!

The YouTube app is not included in iOS 6. You will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version and there is Jasmine), or try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)

The Mac App Store app is located in the Applications folder. Open a Finder window and browse to the Applications folder and then drag & drop the MAS icon anywhere you choose on the Dock.
