How do I restored all my bookmarked files accidently deleted?

I deleted my bookmarked files in error and I need them back ASAP. How can this done?

Try restore from Firerfox automitic bookmarks backup or one of your backup, if you did:

Firefox has been reminding me to update my Firefox version. And I did. After installing the new version, it restarted my computer. Now the first thing I did is to restore my previous tabs, the tabs that were open when i upgraded Firefox. But there were no history of my tabs.
Then I started looking at my Bookmarks. I lost all my bookmarks. My heart is pumping now and I want to cry. these are years of bookmark collection from my various works. Am I being penalized?
Please help me. Can I just revert back to the old version? Will this permit me to access my old bookmarks (never mind the tabs, they are still fresh in my mind)? I can't even remember the old version of firefox I am using.
Why didn't Firefox made a warning?

You can check for problems with the <b>places.sqlite</b> database file in the Firefox profile folder.

REVISED: How do I restore all my old files, apps, settings etc. using TM?

My Macbooks HD failed the other day and had it replaced so now everything is completely wiped out and had to reinstall leopard. Well before all this happened I had been using Time Machine so all my files are backup on my external HD. Will I be able to restore everything back to the way I had it before the HD failed?? If so how do I go about doing this? I'm having trouble doing it besides restoring one things at a time.
*Note: And I've already installed leopard. How can i do this? Like what steps would i take?

The OS X help menu has detailed instructions (recovering your entire system). Enter Time Machine in the search window and scroll down.

If you have backuped before you deleted the notes, you can restore from backup using computer iTunes.

1. Open the iCloud preference pane and uncheck the box marked Safari.
2. You can only restore the whole bookmarks file to a previous state. It's not possible to restore individual bookmarks.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy it to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

Quit Safari.

from the Finder menu bar. Paste into the text box that opens by pressing command-V, then press return.

How can I move all my bookmarks from different Firefox profiles (would like to move whole bookmark folders at once if possible) into one area to organize them and then place them into the different Firefox profiles? This is all under one window user account, I am using windows 8.1. Even if you have information on how to do it on a different windows, it may still be helpful. Thanks for any input you have.

Just a note about the difference between these two things:
* "export" and "import" use an ancient HTML document format that all browsers can understand. When you import bookmarks, Firefox may place them into an Imported Bookmarks folder, or into Unsorted Bookmarks. This does not displace existing bookmarks, and Firefox does not automatically remove duplicates.
* "backup" and "restore" use a more comprehensive JSON data file, which contains extra information about your bookmarks (such as tags) not contained in the traditional export file. HOWEVER, a restore completely replaces all existing bookmarks, so the restore feature cannot be used to merge in a set of additional bookmarks.

Typo; should be "how do I restore the Organize Bookmarks... selection". This selection also does not exist when I manually change Firefox to show the new "Firefox" orange menu tab at the upper left corner of the Firefox window.

OK, that works. In addition, just before receiving your response, I discovered that History --> Show All History brings up the identical "Show All Bookmarks" Library popup that includes the export and import Bookmark options (which is what I was looking for all along).
If anyone from the Mozilla-Firefox organization reads this, please update Firefox Help concerning the Bookmark maintenance functions. Help still refers only to pre-Firefox 4 versions, and is no help here with respect to Firefox 4 (which is why I had to post my initial query).

It was tele tech. I couldn't open my Page Numbers etc. Frist tech chat idiot - following dumping few things in bin, asked me yo upgrade to Yosemite. But the problem still persists. This morning I was asked to do it via telephone and like yesterday, after wasting 20 min, I was put to this apparent Tech Queen ( my foot!). She eventually decided to reinstall Yosemite asked me to connect my external drive while I connected to her. She was moving cursor asking me to move files and delete and I followed her like a dummy. It took 3/4 hours and she called me 3 times once the lengthy process was completed. I suspected from the beginng for the fact that why should be asking me to click all my backup from the very beginning! Eventually she said I deleted... Or someone else or may be my children ! It was a blatant lie. I run my small business from home and I was simply staying in front of the Mac whole day! Children were at school. Then she said I must have used another computer! I only have laptop and the iPad. I will talk to their manager first thing in the morning. In the mean time please let me know as to how can I transfer photos, music etc back to my laptop from my Iphone and IPad .? I am will connect to laptop as I am worried the new BLANK iPhoto may supersede iphone/iPad stuff? Will it? Please let me know. I am not a very tech savvy person.
