I wanted to have a Multicolumn Listbox with only 2 visible colums and no horizontal scrollbar in order to make it look like a regular listbox only with 2 columns? can I get make the column and row borders invisible?

Righ-click on it and select "properties". On the apperance tab uncheck the vertical and horizontal scroll bars and select 2 columns and the desired number of rows.
To make the grid lines invisible, right-click and select "visible items" and uncheck horizontal and vertical lines as desired.
(On much older LabVIEW versions some of this might be different. What version do you have?)

How do I distinguish the header/footer from the two-colume format of a .pdf document?

How do I get adobe to realize that there is a header and footer on each page, but the actual text in the file is in two columes. Is there a way to make this clear and embade it in the document so other programs recognize this too?
I am finding tha when I copy/paset text from this .pdf document the pasted text combines thet text across each line especially when images are involved in the selected feild. This 600 page document is formated into two columnes but has headers and footers and inserted articles and pictures that obscure fields. Here isinimage of what I mean.

Scripts can be placed in many different locations, but in this case an Action is the right choice since you want to process multiple files in the same manner.
You can set the output option of the Action to "Do not save changes", since you're already taking care of that in the script and don't actually need to save the original files.
It seems to me the script is doing what you want it to do, no? It creates the PDF files from the extract pages of each source file.
All you have to do now is to combine all of these files together, which you can do by going to File - Create - Combine Files into a Single PDF and select the folder to which you saved all of these files.

How do I restrict playlists to downloaded podcasts only?

After upgrading to iTunes 12, I've discovered the behaviour of playlists (note, not Stations) has changed with respect to podcasts.
The playlists now include all episodes that can be found in the podcast feed, whether or not I've downloaded them. This change of behaviour is a problem for a number of reasons but the summary is almost none of my playlists now work as intended, nor can I find a way to make them to.
A solution would be to restrict the playlists to just the podcasts downloaded to the computer (i.e. how it always used to work!) but I can't find a way -
I can't find any playlist criterion that excludes podcasts I haven't downloaded.
I've tried adding a "Location - is - on this computer" criteria to my playlists - see example - but it makes no difference.
Can anyone help - has anyone successfully restricted a playlist to just podcasts downloaded to their computer?

Shame. It was superior playlisting features (and album shuffle) that converted me to iTunes in the first place (sometime around version 4 or 5 from memory...).

Isn't a one-on-one conversation what happens on a support call? My issue wasn't that I couldn't have a conversation with someone, it's that I couldn't have a conversation with anyone who was knowledgeable.... It wouldn't hurt for apple to reach out from time to time (in the same way Google staffers sometimes do) either, but I've never seen it.

Your secure computer has a piece of unpleasant software - My Web Search. Remove any signs of it in Add-ons>Extensions and Plug-ins. Also check in Add/Remove Programs(Programs and Features in Win7). Also make sure you don't have any entries for Fun Web Products.
You are showing Fx3.5.8. If that is so, it is high time you updated. Chances are, though, that My Web Search has frozen your User Agent String.

How do you restrict the scorm reporting to only set raw value if 100

I have an issue with the LMSSetValue cmi.core.score.raw output from a Captivate 4 course published to SCORM 1.2.
I need to customise it so that the course only sends an LMSSetValue command to the LMS if cmi.core.score.raw is '100', and not on every slide when the value is '0'
Can anyone help me with some code for the course html file?

What the remote user can do is to implement this policy . Allow UDP protocol on port 5060 but the only source should be west.broadcore.com.
Unfortunately, Apple routers are quite simple, and do not have the features and settings that you would need to do this.
However, if you are using a modem/router or gateway device with the AirPort Express, then you might be able to set up the modem/router to do what you need. What is the make and model number of the device that you likely call your "modem"?

I do not think we have any authorization object based on GL Account value for T Code FAGLB03. However, you could probably write an FI validation rule based on GL Account No and user id. You can maintain the user id in a set

Company Code = XXXX and System T Code = FAGLB03 and GL Account = XXXXXX
Check User ID = ABCD
If the check fails, system should throw an error message

I donu2019t think so there is any configuration for this kind of purpose.
You can only do by the authorisation.
Just give the user authorisation that only this person can change the value of the credit control area.
And I think so that will be usefull also because if every body has authority then any body can change the limit which is not good.
First they have to take permission from the authorised person and if he approved then only he should change limits.
So just try out the user authorisation for your purpose.

I'm running Adobe CC on a 2010 iMac (OS X Yosemite). I'm delighted with it, however ...
Several family members share the same iMac using separate user accounts. Adobe CC seems to run on startup for all of them which is annoying for them as they get messages about updates etc, plus it takes up unnecessary system resources (particularly as we tend to use 'switch user' and Activity Monitor shows an instance of Adobe CC running for each user).
It's not listed in the Login Items list under System Preferences->Users & Groups, so I can't disable it there for other users, However it appears as an icon in the menu bar for any/all users a few moments after logging in - so something is triggering it to run, but I can't see what.
How can I restrict Adobe CC to run just for my user account please?

The startup item is likely inside the /Library/LaunchAgents folder.
It will be something named like com.adobe.creativecloud.plist.
Move it out of the /Library/LaunchAgents folder into the User/Library/LaunchAgents folder for all the users that need it.
I don't know if it will work, but as long as Adobe wrote the launch agent correctly, it will work. Given that it is Adobe we're talking about, my bet is no.

SSH login- how do I restrict access to a shared folder?

I have created Shares in WGM for SMB and AFP access on my OS X 10.4.8 Server. However when I connect via SSH it's not restricting access to the folder based on the User Name I login with- I see the entire volume! It sounds like you are trying to limit ssh/sftp users to a specific area, aka jails. The FTP server lets you 'chroot' users to a certain area making it appear as the root thus preventing them from navigating up the hierarchy, which is what I think you, and me and many others are trying to accomplish.
The ssh compiled into OS X is missing this very needed feature. There have been a few documented workarounds, but they've either been too insecure or too clunky for me.
I've dealt with the fact that my users can get to the root of the hard drive, and have just been very careful about my privileges (by using ACLs), thus preventing them from getting inside areas they shouldn't.

How can I restrict access to add. internal hard drive by account?

Hello! Okay, so I am my computer's administrator, and I have a secondary 'guest' account that anyone else can use. So, I know that all my data on my main, OS hard drive is secure from the guest account accessing it, but what about the additional hard drive that I have installed?
I have a good deal of sensitive data and files stored (and aliased) on my second internal drive that I do not care for 'guest' users to stumble upon. How can I restrict access to the secondary storage hard drive from my Guest login account, and/or just plain hide it from it? Surely, there is a need for this that has brought about a solution. Any tips/advice/solutions?
