It would probably be correct to assume that both PowerBook computers are equipped with FireWire. The article below could possibly be of interest to you. With a bit of luck, the old computer will be recognised.

I have a macbook pro 15 inch mid 2010. It has 4gb of ram and 500gb of storage. I recently upgraded to Mavericks OSX10.9,4.
First of all, when turning on my mac the screen just loads forever, hence it does not pick up the HD. It also displayed the circle with a line through icon once.
Upon noticing this, I tried to repair the disk but it said it was unable to. The other disks are ok but the MAC HD says it stopped repairing when I attempted to repair it.
Using single user mode (command + s): I tried this, but it continued to says the same i/o error code:

Is this physical damage/can i still recover the data/use it and section off the damaged parts and use the spare space?

i/o errors generally mean that a part of the disk cannot be read. That can prevent the disk mounting or prevent the entire disk being read after the error.
Disk Utility is not great at addressing issues like this & data recovery specialists are the safest (and most expensive) option for recovering data from a disk in this state.
As others have said it's critical to avoid any use of the disk since if it's a mechanical fault it could seize or finally give up functioning.
If you are intent on recovering 'on your own & on the cheap' you could look at ddrescue – it clones a disk by copying the data stream whilst ignoring errors from the source disk, the data on the second disk could be 'repairable' with additional tools.

These are all *nix tools & require competence at the command line! Just installing can be too much for some non technical users.
You also need lots of spare disks to move data onto to run the tools.

- SuperAvatars are heroes in an online role playing gaming. They have an ID, superavatarID which contain an UNIQUE NUMBER NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY to identify them.
A wisdom trickster,conjuror,magician, etc..
A current owner who is the user or player of the game and has that Super Avatar we associate the link to USERID to know the person.
SuperAvatars can be fathers or mothers of Mega Avatars.
-MegaAvatars are the children of SuperAvatars. They also have an ID UNIQUE NUMBER NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY to indentify them.
A magic power it can be a Leader or Sheep
A parent parent is the number identifying to know to who Super Avatar belongs.

We have to insert manually the data from USERID to CURRENTOWNER as we didnt match or link CURRENTOWNER from SUPERAVATAR Table to USERID from USER Table with a SQL CODE.
What happen if we have thousands of USERS that they register to this game? We will never know to how belongs that SUPERAVATAR but if someone do it manually can spend a year.

How do I retrieve data from a 500 GB Time Machine used as external hard drive?

I have a very particular situation. For several years I used a 500GB Time Machine as a wi-fi broadcaster, a back up, and also as external storage for iTunes - I 'partitioned' it to allow for it's use as an external drive.
Fast forward, and I've replaced the Time Machine with a new 3 TB Time Machine, as well as purchased a separate external drive (3 TB Western Digital) to store my iTunes files (so I no longer need to partition). The new Time Machine is my wi-fu hub.
The problem: I need to retrieve the 300 gb of audio files that are on my old partitioned Time Machine, and move them to my new WD external drive. I've already set up the new Time Machine as my wi-fi broadcaster, and de-activated the old Time Machine.
(I had tried to move the files previous to setting up the new Time Machine, but I realized after de-activating it that I wasn't as thorough as I thought, so I need to go back and move them again.)
I've tried to re-connect to the old Time Machine using an ethernet cable, but when I do, it recognizes it as my wi-fi hub, and it screws up my network - it suddenly allows me access to the old Time Machine, but blocks access to the new WD external drive.
So in a nutshell - I need to be able to connect the old Time Machine to my laptop (a Macbook running OS X 10.7.5) and have my new network see it as just an external drive - so I can then move the 300 GB of audio files directly on to my new WD external drive.
Any thoughts on how I can do this?

Why not connect both drives to the computer, turn off the wi-fi, and then copy the files over. Or you can use Disk Utility/Restore to move the files. See the note - it will erase the WD drive.
You can then set things back to the way you want them. You should have more than one back up as hard drives do fail. In this case, you could use a clone and keep it on the WD drive.

The past weekend I spent my whole weekend trying to find this
out and gone through the top 10 pages on google trying all sorts of
things. I would be grateful for anyone who can help me.
I have 6 combo boxes in a booking form and I need to retrieve
the data when someone click submits which gets forwarded on to php
then my mailbox. They are called box1_cb, box2_cb.....box6_cb All
in the instance of: ComboBox - which I don't understand what that

Hello, my iBook is experiencing logic board issues for the nth time (where n is a large number!). This time around it won't stay on long enough for me to retrieve my data from it. I know I can use target disk mode to retrieve my data from my iBook but I do not have access to another Apple computer to do so. Is there another alternative using a windows PC or something?

You may be able to remove the hard drive (a very complicated procedure; it may take professional help), and place it in and external case in order to access it.
What are your plans regarding the iBook?
Have you considered trying the shim fix suggested by John Sawyer in the Apple Discussions iBook G3 (Dual USB) Displays Forum in order to attempt to deal with the logic board problem?
[Y]ou can often fix this yourself by removing the iBook's bottom housing, and placing a shim of any sort, about 1mm to 1.5mm thick, onto the raised square on the bottom shield. I use a Scotch mounting square--you can get them in hardware stores and many grocery stores. When you reinstall the bottom case, it will press against this shim, which will press against the graphics chip, and may allow the chip to come into better contact with the logic board.

How do I retrieve data from Macbook that will not turn on?

My 17" laptop stopped turning on. I can hear it booting up with its bong but the screen stays black. If I press the keys, I get a weird plink plink sound. I updated to Snow Leopard about a year ago.

You can take the computer to your local Apple Store/AASP and get free diagnostic tests and an estimate for repair.
As far as retrieving data, you might be able - if your hard drive isn't dead - to purchase a USB enclosure for the drive - such as this one - and connect it to your repaired Mac or to another Mac. If the drive is damaged, you may not be able to recover the data or you may have to use a utility such as DiskWarrior to even try to recover your data.

1. Not transferring identity columns (primary keys). the destination table might have the same key.
2. keep the PK's and FK's relation b/w parent and child table
3. I have 4 levels
