How do I retrieve information on my iphone that I accidentally synced to ipod.

How do I retrieve songs /photos/notes from my Iphone that I accidentally synced to my ipod ? My ipod was my "backup  device"on my computer. This synch accidentally removed all my info on my phone and updated it to whatever I had in my ipod from two years ago. HELP!!!

You restore from your last iPhone backup.

Is it posible to retrieve pictures that was deleted if I did not back-up on I-Cloud?

If you synced to your computer, then you may be able to restore from backup.  You would lose any pics taken since the sync.
You should be importing all pics taken with iphone to your computer regularly as you would with any digital camera.

  • Ios 8 how do i retrieve imessages to my iphone that were delivered to my ipad

I have an iphone 5 and ipad mini w/ retina display, and I just upgraded both to iOS 8. Previously I had iMessaging turned off on both devices, but when I upgraded iMessaging was turned back on. I caught it on my iphone and turned iMessaging off, but didn't think to check my ipad mini, which had also turned back on with the upgrade. As a result, I received several texts on my ipad mini that never arrived to my iphone. I've decided in the end to turn iMessaging back on on my iphone, but I'm wondering whether there's a way to retrieve the iMessages delivered to my ipad mini that never made it to my phone while iMessaging was turned off? I've seen general troubleshooting posts about resetting network settings, restarting the phone, etc. but none of those actions have worked.

You'll need to use an app like PhotoSync to do this.  PhotoSync will transfer photos to your computer that were originallly synced to your phone from your computer.

  • How do i remove photo albums from Iphone that appear when syncing which I cannot prevent

Iphone 4.  just synced with laptop and to my horror now have every photo from laptop in albums on my phone which i cannot remove.  Have gone back into sync mode and it wont let me access the albums on phone to delete.  Such ridiculous situation not to be able to delete by choice on phone.  Sync only repeats the process.  Not a happy iphone user.  Can anyone help and suggest a simple way to remove the albums.  Also what to do when syncing to avoid happening again. When syncing,  I dont seem to be able to access my iphone or chose what sync processes i want as the sync only happens as one process including the photos.  Is this a fault??  Cannot believe Apple would make this such a difficult process.  Help appreciated.

Thanks but it wont let me choose and once the albums on iphone it wont let me remove..... any more thoughts??

If they were photos taken with your iPhone and you have Photo Stream activated through iCloud they are in the cloud. If not - they are in the wind.

how do i download information from my iphone 4s to my computer

What sort of information ? You can copy purchases from iTunes to you computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. For documents/files in apps then it will depend upon what the apps that they are in support e.g. transfer via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc. Or you do mean something else ?

  • How do I retrieve my backed up iphone contacts from itunes and transfer them to a blackberry?

Help, I am struggling! I have had to change work phones from iPhone to Blackbery. How do I retrieve my backed up iphone contacts from my itunes player and transfer them to a blackberry? Is this even possible? I no longer have my old iPhone, but thought that I could just transfer them all over to a bb if I had backed up before I gave the iPhone back.

iTunes does not and has never contained contacts.  It is not a contact management application.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Ask BlackBerry how to get the contacts from whatever application or cloud service your contacts have been synced with to your new phone.

From a backup on itunes or icloud, assuming you have made backups.  Connect to itunes and in the first tab for your device, choose to perform a restore.

how can I add contacts in my iphone that are backuped in a pim file in my pc

You have to get them from the file you have into iCloud, google, yahoo, outlook.com, AOL, an Exchange server, or some other service the phone can sync with, or into MS Outlook on your PC. Then you can sync them to the phone.

If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
    /Library/LaunchDaemons
    /Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple.

If you created as an Exchange account on the iPhone (not IMAP or POP) and you have Push on it should all work smoothly; Reading a message on either client should mark the other read (it does on mine). Try deleting the account from the phone, rebooting the phone (to clear out old settings), then go to Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendar, add an account and tap Microsoft Exchange and add the account back.
There is a fundamental difference between BB and iPhone that you should be aware of; on the BB you do not sync directly with Exchange; you sync with the RIM server which then syncs with your Exchange server. The iPhone syncs directly with Exchange using Microsoft's ActiveSync protocol. So in some ways they will behave differently. But ActiveSync should manage marking messages as read correctly.
