Help, I am struggling! I have had to change work phones from iPhone to Blackbery. How do I retrieve my backed up iphone contacts from my itunes player and transfer them to a blackberry? Is this even possible? I no longer have my old iPhone, but thought that I could just transfer them all over to a bb if I had backed up before I gave the iPhone back.

iTunes does not and has never contained contacts. It is not a contact management application.
Contacts are designed to be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service.
Ask BlackBerry how to get the contacts from whatever application or cloud service your contacts have been synced with to your new phone.

Maybe you should go Discussion-Apple to look for what is iTunes user directions about how to backup your iphone.
Other than there are also a tool called Contacts Tool search iphone applications,and it will help u a lot if u want to transfer the contacts to computer.Like Out2003 or Outlook2007...

Did you restore your iCloud backup? That should recover camera roll photos.

The easiest way to do this is to import the movies into iTunes and sync as many of them as will fit onto the iPad.
If you want easy access to all of the movies without having to sync, you can find a file sharing website and upload all the movies there. Then, get a download managing app such as iDownloads, bookmark the links to all of the movies, and you can download them at will and delete them when you're done with them.
If you're especially tech savvy and want a solution that is less laborious, you can setup an FTP server (such as the Filezilla server if you have Windows) on the computer where the HD movies are located, and give it access to the folder where the movies are. Then get an app that can download to FTP servers (GoodReader is one that I use) and download the movies at will via FTP. This solution requires less busywork, but is only feasible if you are especially technically savvy.

So I recently bought an imac to make things easier instead of our old pc. but in the process of setting it up, i imported all my contacts from my iphone and ipad onto the icloud and as a result, they appeared in my husband's iphone - he had around 100 contacts, and now has around 3,000 with mine too. I am now in serious trouble with my husband as he cannot find his own small contacts quickly. You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
For other music you need to get them from where you got them before.

How to Control the Sorting Order of iPhone Contacts from Outlook?

In a series of editing steps we've loaded ca. 1,900 personal and business contacts from Outlook into a 1st gen iPhone with 2.0.1 software on it. To our surprise we found that while most of the entries were listed and sorted by company, certain entries were listed and sorted by the person's name. It looked random and there didn't seem to be any way to control it on the iPhone.
While troubleshooting the problem we synced up the iPhone with an empty Address Book on a MacBook Pro and found that the sort order flag was indeed set differently on these entries. When we changed the sorting flag of a contact in the Mac's Address Book to "Company" it also changed on the iPhone after the next sync.
Problem: In our business environment it is impossible to switch to Macs for contact administration. We need to do it from Outlook. This is one of several features needed for the adoption of iPhones.
Question: Is there a way to control this flag on the individual iPhone contact entries from Outlook Contacts?

Well, I think we figured it out.
Outlook doesn't offer a sorting flag on person or company name. Instead it uses a separate "File As" string. The problem with our contacts was that this "File As" string was frequently edited to be something else than exactly the personal or company name, e.g. it was set to an abbreviated company name. Once we set the "File As" to any of the defaults offered, i.e. person or company name, the sorting flag in iPhone was properly set through the synchronization.
Obviously, the application logic compares the content of these fields in Outlook and decides how to set the flag. If it can't find the company name in "File As" it defaults to person.
This was an expensive holdup for us. It cost us 2 man days to figure it out. Is there any place where such application logic is described?

When I connect iPhone 5 to Mac via usb, automatically shows my iPhone5 device on Iphoto, then when I close Iphoto and open Itunes the device isn't anywhere to be seen. I've read a few other articles/solutions that mention about ctrl S or option command s but that produces the classic apple "thud" response. Rapdily losing my faith in Apple to be honest. I have (I think) downloaded the most up to date iTunes and iOS but everything is now a total mess and not intuitive at all. I am not a techno geek so please, please can someone help using plain English.
