How do I retrieve my deleted ringtones?

I deleted my ringtones from itunes but when I received the question "send to recycle bin or keep" I hit keep.  How do I retrieve them now?

There is no way to get them back. Without a backup or without having imported the photos to your computer, they no longer exist. They are gone now.

Sorry no. That's how it works.
Check if you still have an old backup and do a restore otherwise it's gone.

I have a few ringtones that I have bought that I can't see on my iTunes account. I only use my iphone 5s for all internet needs. How do I retrieve payed for ringtones, it is not like songs , I've got all of those back.

Ringtones are a Once only download. If you did not Back them up into iTunes you will need to repurchase them.

  • TS4036 how do you retrieve a deleted video from an iphone 4S

How do I retrieve a deleted video from my Iphone 4S?

Photos/videos in the Camera Roll are included with the iPhone's backup. If your iPhone's backup was updated since the video was captured and the backup has not been updated again since it was deleted from the iPhone, you can try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from the iPhone's backup. Don't update the backup before doing so.

How do I retrieve my deleted songs on my iPhone?
So I accidentally clicked on the "Sync Music" button in iTunes and all my songs in my iPhone music library was gone. Is there a way to retrieve them? Even if I deleted them off of my iTunes library?

If they are iTunes purchases then depending upon what country that you are in then you might be able to re-download them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes, or the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app directly on your phone.

I have deleted some information in text messages, some just got old and went away...how do I retrieve these messages..?

If they were part of your last backup, you'd have to do a restore to recover them.

I was making a group for my contacts and I accidently added some people I didn't want in the gropu so I deleted them thinking it deletes them from the group not my entire contact list how can I retrieve them?

If you JUST did it, in Contacts, go to the Edit menu and click Undo.
However, you should have seen a warning like this:
which gives you the option of deleting the card entirely or removing it from that group.
If it's too late to undo, your Time Machine backup should have your Contacts saved. With Contacts open, click on the Time Machine menu icon, click Enter Time Machine, and go back to a previous time/date and click Restore.

  • How do you retrieve a deleted contact?

MY nephew accidentaly deleted some of my contacts. How do I retrieve them without using a computer?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
You can't so far as I know but if you have access to a computer...
To restore from a back up made through iTunes, follow these instructions.
To restore from a back up made through iCloud, try the following:
The difficulty in restoring iCloud data from a back up is that the back up is older than the current version on iCloud and anything that is restored gets removed again when an iCloud sync occurs.
Ensure the device is connected to your local network.
Start the restore from iCloud back up.
Allow the devices settings to restore (watch for the confirmation of completion).
As the apps begin to restore pull the connection to your router WAN port (the one that goes to the telephone point).
Wait for the time out confirmation.
Navigate to settings > iCloud and turn off contact syncing (keep contacts when prompted).
Reconnect the router to the internet and let the restore process complete.
Delete any iCloud contacts from iCloud.com on a computer.
Navigate to settings > iCloud and turn on contact syncing (merge contacts when prompted).
May I suggest that you carry out a back up to iTunes before you try anything, that way should things become even worse, you can at least restore back to where you are now.

  • How do you retrieve accidentally deleted text messages?

I accidentally deleted a text message stream. How do I retrieve them?

Deleted messages are not recoverable on the iPhone itself.
But it is fairly easy to recover them as follows:
Connect the iPhone to iTunes in the computer, make sure that in Summary Page  "Backup to this computer" is checked, then do Manual Backup.
Since the deleted messages are still on the iPhone, the deleted messages are also in the Backup.
Download a third party app called "Data Recovery for iPhone", and use this app to get the deleted messages, it will find the backup on your computer that you just made with iTunes on its own.
    After that uninstall the App.

  • How do I retrieve my deleted contacts?

My wife got an iPhone today and didn't realize that once she synced her phone to the computer, that  my contacts would also be added to her phone. What she also didn't realize what that if she deleted them out of her phone she was also deleting them out of mind. Does anyone have suggestions on how to retrieve my deleted contacts? I've restored my phone through iTunes with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

This may or may not work depending on when your phone last backed up.

  • HT1766 How do I retrieve mistakenly deleted note from my iCloud backup

I mistakenly deleted a note from my iPad, I need this note, help how can I get it back

The way I did it was to:
    1. Go to my iPad (or any iDevice): Settings: General: Reset: Erase All Content and Settings.  This will wipe clean the iDevice, prompting you to set up as a new device or restore from an iTunes or iCloud backup.
    2. Restore from iCloud backup.  I had just deleted the note, so I chose an iCloud backup from the day before. You will need to be connected to your wifi network at this point.  Let it go through the motions of restoring the information.  It will give you an "estimated time remaining" status bar.  You need to be by your router at this point.  Once it finishes restoring, your iDevice will reboot. During the reboot, your iDevice will be loading all of the information that it just downloaded from the iCloud backup.  At this point, your old note will be in there, but as soon as it loads, if you're connected to the internet, it will re-sync with iCloud and you'll will right back where you were before you did the restore. I know because I did it once already.  To stop this from happening:
    3. As soon as your iDevice starts to reboot, turn off your wifi router or otherwise make it to where the iDevice has no internet connection. Your iDevice will finish loading the iCloud backup, and your notes will be as they were the day before or at the time of the last back up.
I only had one note that I needed to retrieve, so I copied it and opened an email and emailed it to myself. I was a little concerned that this may not work, seeing as I was not connected to the internet, but, once I reconnected, the email sent. Naturally, at that point my notes were all synced back to current, but I had the note in the email and, thus, was able to recreate the note.
