How do I return this piece of *$&^?!?

Like so many others on the forums, I have bought a brand new Creative Zen (6GB) player only to be welcomed with a white screen and a useless product (might have guessed judging by my past experiences with Creative products). So, going on the suggestions on the forums for this problem, i.e. return it forthwith, I clicked on the contact support, chose my product, clicked on the "I think my player is faulty" link which displays this :

Try using a query to locate the information you need
So I click on the "contact support" link only to be taken back to the same page I started at. Will someone please give me a link to contact support so I can get an RMA number and get a product which works for the money I paid for it.

Excuse me but I have bought 2 Creative products in the last few months (Fatality Headset and Zen MP3 Player) and both of them have failed and needed replacement, so not only have I paid for the products but now I have to pay postage to get a working replacement.
On top of that I visit these forums and try the solutions, none of which work, I visit your so-called "support" page to get support and instead get a load of solutions to problems I don't have. I click on a link which quite plainly says "Contact Us" and which gives no actual ability to contact the support department.
Perhaps you'd like to explain to me how I am being abusi've in buying a product and expecting it to work although with the history of Creative's products obviously this is hoping for a bit much.
On another post in this forum Richard advises another "paying customer" to phone the number given in the support directory of the CD, THERE IS NO SUPPORT DIRECTORY ON THE CD!!!
These two useless pieces of equipment will be the last product I buy from this woefully inadequate company.

    and then that person can send back to you when Apple is done. You
    are responsible for shipping and insurance.
    Apple does not accept international shipments for service nor will

    I'm such a noob, please help
    I don't know how or what I've done but my widescreen normal landscape view has somehow rotated itself (no doubt by me) 90 degtees left e.g. I now have to turn the laptop on its side to read the screen which is now in portrait view.
    I thought it a simple change on display>settings. If it is I can't manage it

    My bet is you have Intel graphics and you have accidentally hit a <CTRL><ALT>Arrow hotkey combination.  If that's the case the fix is just a quick <CTRL><ALT>Up.  If that doesn't do you'll find a rotate display somewhere in the advanced display properties screens.
    I was previously employed by Lenovo but have no formal role on this forum.
    I am here on my own time because I like fooling with PCs, especially Lenovo ones. ALL my posts are purely my personal opinion.

  • How do I return a SIM activation Kit purchased from the Verizon Store?

    I purchased a SIM Activation Kit from your online store and even though the web site said it would work with my phone it didn't.  I called support 3 times and they were unable to activate the SIM.   
    I need to return the kit.
    I called Customer Service and they told me I am unable to return it because I am not a Verizon customer?  Please advise how I can return this I do not have a Verizon Store Nearby. The packing slip said go to vzw.com/printlabel , but it asks for a Wireless number.  I don't have a Verizon number because I was never able to activate the Card.

    Or are you merely asking how to remove the wrong version from your cart and haven't paid for anything, yet?  Since you said "return" that suggests payment and a serial number.
    If you haven't actually paid, then just edit your cart and delete the version you put there:

    If you can tell who the carrier is, turn it in to them. They should be able to get it returned to them. If you can't, you can try and take the SIM out and see who the carrier is that way.
    If all else fails, turn it in to the local police.

    Back up all data.
    Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
    Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
    If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
    Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
    From the menu bar, select
    Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
    If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.

    from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.

    You may have an unwanted extension that is modifying sites (or the toolbar area). Try this:
    Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:
    * Ctrl+Shift+a
    * orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
    In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in doubt, disable.
    Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
    Does that flush the tab?
    Please report back on anything suspicious you find so others can learn about its bad behavior.

    Until Evernote updates their add-on to mark it compatible with Firefox 6, you can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Add-on Compatibility Reporter] to try re-enabling it yourself.
    You can also downgrade to a previous version of Firefox from [https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ this archive], but please be warned that some old versions of Firefox have known security bugs that are fixed in later versions.
