How do I return to a previous pages program?

I recently received an upgrade to pages. Since then it does not work as expected. For Example Let's say I have a document that I copy and then open pages and paste the document to pages then I want to save the document. I get a drop down menu to save it to documents, My Templates, Desktop, or iWorks '09.That is not what I want to do. I want to save according to the previous drop down menu Pages, My Templates, Recipes, Desktop, or Documents. I see two possible soutions: 1. find out how to save to pages under the new update. 2. Go back to a time when Pages worked as expected.  Help!

Possible to downgrade to Pages 5.2?
See remark here
After updating to yosemite, pages won't open older documents, it says,the document "xxx.pages" couldn't be opened...any help would be appreciated.

Pages 5 will not open Pages '08 documents.
Pages '08/'09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder, use that.

    How can I return to the previous browsing page in the App store?

    Thanks for your reply but problem not solved. If I have reached page 5 for example, I can not go back to the previous page 4. Instead it goes back to page 1 when I use the back track arrows, gestures or the back or forward commands!! The girl at my local Apple dealer says that it can't be done. This should be a very basic browsing function in the App Store. I know other people have the same problem.

    Yeah, this seems to be something to do with Google, not your iPhone. A search on that error found this page:

    which shows people using lots of browsers on different platforms suffering from it. No definitive solutions though.

    Try a 2 finger swipe left or right to change screens. If that doesn't work go to System Preferences/Trackpad/More Gestures and set it up.

    Export bookmarks from time to time, and import into Firefox or Chrome where you can organize them easier..
    Use a bookmark manager.

    * If, on Windows, in Firefox 3.6 the menu bar is hidden then press and hold the Alt key down or press F10, that should make the "Menu Bar" appear
    * Go to "View > Toolbars" and check-mark "Menu Bar" with a click on it to make that permanent. See [[Menu bar is missing]]).
    * Make sure that you have the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
    * If items are missing then see if you can find them in the "View > Toolbars > Customize" window
    * If you see the item in the Customize window then drag it back from the Customize window to one of the toolbars.
    * If, in "View > Toolbars > Customize", you do not see that item then click the "Restore Default Set" button

  • What is the command for return to a previous page in java

    Hi,
    I need to customize a OK button that return to a previous page instead of forwarding other page? The best way is to extend the CO class? If yes, what is the command to do so please.
    Thanks,
    CY

    Hi CY,
    In which ever pages you are calling this page, extend controller of those pages and in PFR of that controller give the following code
    String s4 = pageContext.getCurrentUrlForRedirect();
    pageContext.putSessionValue("previousPageUrl", s4);
    then in your second page you can call this session variable by
    pageContext.getSessionValue("previousPageUrl");
    use this session value for page redirect.

    If a page you go to opens in a new tab, there is no 'back' to go to. If that is the case, just close the tab and you'll be at the page you came from.

  • How can I return to the previous version?

    ''locking this thread which was started back in February about Firefox 26 / 27''
    Yesterday, while trying to get rid of the uninvited AVG elements in my Mozilla opening page I some how installed the latest version of Mozilla which I really dislike. Given this is on my wife's computer while she is away and she does not like changes to her computer I would really appreciate it being returned to the previous version.
    I also consider your instructions on how to do anything regarding setting up Mozilla as absolutely terribly written.

    Your current level 29 is TERRIBLE on my iMac and I want to go back a level, until you fix it!!!! Help?????!!!!!

  • How do I retain formatting from previous Pages version

    As I add sections to my pages document (designed in a previous Pages version), I notice that everything is completely messed up.  Pictures & text are being moved to the wrong pages...

    That is due to Pages 5 having a different file format and 100 fewer features than Pages '09.
    At best it alters previous files, at worst it damages them:

  • How do I return to my home page?

    On other browsers I have used it is possible to return to the home page or open a new tab or window showing the home page with one or two clicks. This does not seem to be available in Firefox.

    "Alt+Home" keyboard shortcut or the ''''show homepage'''' toolbar button should be able to do that.

  • How can I return to a previous version of firefox?

    At this moment I'm running Firefox 35.0.1, and I think I wish to return to whatever was the previous version. I think Firefox updated to this version several weeks ago, and since then strange things are happening.
    First of all, I don not like the "manage search engine" set-up. It's different than the one I had a few weeks ago. Now there's nothing at all wrong with this new incarnation, I just don't like the drop down box, etc, (very small issue).
    My real concern is, when I'm on a web page, (pick one), any web page, I'll begin hearing audio from some ad. I frantically search the page to see where I can stop the audio, never finding any option. I'll minimize my window, to see if something is behind that window, which I can shut off, but to no avail. This has happened 3 times in the last 48 hours.
    Not earth shattering issues, I realize.
    But the question would be, is there an easy way that one could return to the version prior to 35.0.1, without damaging anything, (I'm not extremely tech savy).
    Thanks in advance, etc.
    greg

    Changing versions often does not cure problems, but it does increase risks.
    * ( Do Not ) [[Install an older version of Firefox]]
    The search options will not be changed by downgrading, but there is a method of changing that without downgrading.
    * See Ed's [/questions/1044599#answer-685295]
    I am not sure the changes in Firefox 35.0.1 would cause your audio issues
    * https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/35.0.1/releasenotes/
    The first step in troubleshooting that may be to identify the tab or page involved, then try Firefox with only the newtab page and the problem page open.
    IIRC Firefox is intended to continue streaming audio even if a tab does not have focus. That enables users to stream audio in the background whilst browsing. What you hear may be intended behaviour.
