How do I return to a previous time on my mac pro? I accidently messed up my bookmarks and want to get them back the way they were just 2 days ago.

Export bookmarks from time to time, and import into Firefox or Chrome where you can organize them easier..
Use a bookmark manager.

Try a 2 finger swipe left or right to change screens. If that doesn't work go to System Preferences/Trackpad/More Gestures and set it up.

Thanks for your reply but problem not solved. If I have reached page 5 for example, I can not go back to the previous page 4. Instead it goes back to page 1 when I use the back track arrows, gestures or the back or forward commands!! The girl at my local Apple dealer says that it can't be done. This should be a very basic browsing function in the App Store. I know other people have the same problem.

No not bothered about sycing apps etc it is all about calendars and maybe notes. IN terms of how its done I just want it the easiest way and preferably so that if an entry is made on one calendar then it populates the other.
Thgius is beacuse I have my work diary on outlok, which I then link with my ical. I want to make sure that information is then shared with her.

Why is the boot time on my mac pro with clean install of lion around 34 sec on my mac pro 2010 2.8 quad core, when it is only around 17 sec on my 13 mbp 2.67 core 2 duo?
The mac pro uses around 13 seconds from i hit the power button til i hear the chime and see the grey screen.
Is it because it uses time to find the wireless keyboard, trackpad and cinema display?
Mac pro has 16 gb ram and 240 gb ocz agility 3 ssd, macbook pro has a intel 120 gb ssd (320 i think) and 8 gb of ram, so the mac pro has more umpf....Well it might take a little longer since POST (power-on self test) needs to check more memory.
But try doing a smc and pram reset and see if that helps. -

Take the memory card out of the camera and insert it into a card reader then use Finder to copy the iomages over to a folder on the Mac desktop.
Basically the exact same way you would do it on any make or model computer. -

There's no "New File" shortcut in Finder on Macs, so you have to launch the application you want (eg TextEdit), create your document, and save it there. There are workarounds using Terminal (the touch command), AppleScript/Automator, and using third-party launch programs like Quicksilver, but natively, it can't be done.
