My name is Mason McFadden. I like to play on a game site called http://www.pogo.com/ in safari & several other internet browsers for the mac. I'm having many issues with the games such as freezing, my game window being squished smaller, games not loading, games getting stuck, etc.
Pogo's support team has told me to make sure that all previous versions of java on my machine are uninstalled, and to update my java via a link they provided me with. However, on a mac, I don't see java listed in the applications folder, therefore I'm unsure of how to "uninstall any java versionsI may have if you will. Pogo games run on Java, which is why it needs it, and pogo believes there's a problem in my java, and it's crashing.
Does anyone know of this game site? If anyone plays it, do you have any trouble with the games? How can I check out my Java? Although pogo's troubleshooting team told me to try to contact Apple support agents on top of their own support team working at my issue, I thought I might post a community forum first, as the phone calls are fee based. If someone out there has any suggestions or can help me before it be necessary for me to call support agents, I'm open. Please let me know. Does pogo run on a specific version of Java? You cannot return to previous state. The update re-locked the iPhone
to the original carrier. You must contact the original carrier to see if
they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>Carrier?
Be advised that if your iPhone had previously been hacked/modified/
jailbroken to work with other than original carrier, it may be impossible

Look in your Applications folder. If your system behaved as expected, you should have an iMovie 9.0 folder in your Applications folder. Apple moved the old version there as even they suspected the new versions was a train wreck.

The first time I attempted to install ML was on a late 2011 MBP. It ran for three minutes then gave me the error message: Could not install OSX due to an unexpected error. I was using the original ML install app, not a USB or other drive.
After a couple of restarts wiht the same result I saw a message to the effect that the install was trying to close open apps. I closed apps manually a few times to no avail. I shut down instead of restarting then booted into Safe mode (hold down the shift key when starting) and that did it. The install went smoothly after that.
I since installed ML in two iMacs using a cloned copy of the install app on a USB drive. This time I shut down the computers and booted into Safe Mode first and there were no problems.
I don't know if this issue is the one causing you these problems but it is a simple enough solution to try.

I have a MacBook with a DVD/CD drive, Mac OS X (10.7.5). I recently updated to iTunes version 12.0.1.26. It seems to be designed for Macs without a DVD/CD drive. How can I get the previous version back? I don't have a back up or use time machine.

Thanks Chris, there a number of problems I'm experiencing. When I insert a CD, despite the preference being ticked, I nolonger get the box that asks me if I want to import. When I did manage to import I couldn't find where the file had gone. Perhaps what I need is a good user guide for the latest version of iTunes because at this point the impression I have is unless I'm buying from iTunes nothing seems to work as it previously did. It is impossible to add anything to my library.
I'd be the first to admit I'm no computer nerd and all the information I've found so far to try and sort out my difficulties don't seem to work. Can someone please tell me where can I get a good user guide for iTune 12.0.1.26 because I find it far from intuitive? At least then I have a chance of working out if it's me or the machine.

Returning to previous version of SC

I've read several threads that say that returning on an older version of a DC is impossible as DC's don't have versions (Maybe this should be changed ?) .
However, if we have a version of an SC which has been approved , how do we return to this version of the source code once it has already evolved.
For exp : We approve and deploy SC1 1.0 in production. We then deploy version 1.1 but we find that the changes we did cause so many problems that it would be better to go back to version 1.0 and redesign.
How do we return to version 1.0 and restart development from there ?

if the approved version SC1 1.0 is assembled with sources I would create a new track, reimport all SCA into that track and continue development there. The old track could be used for reference purposes (what did we do wrong in 1.1? Don't want to repeat history) and I would remove all DTR write permissions on the old workspaces.
The issue basically is that you cannot really go back in time in a DTR workspace. Once there are newer versions for a resource you could only try to recreate an old state by creating a new version (with old content). If you have new workspaces (i.e. within another track) you can import the old versions there and they will be the current versions for that workspace. If that paragraph was confusing please ignore it, I get lost sometimes in those version graphs....

Firefox didn't say that. Firefox only disables Firefox add-ons that aren't compatible with the new version of Firefox. It doesn't do anything with the actual AV program.
Check with your AV vendor for an update for Firefox 6 compatibility.
