How do I revert back to my text balloons back to green from blue for IPhone 4S with IOS 8?

I have trouble in that when I trying to sent messages. The text uses my data and it waste all of it for when I actually need it. How could I change it back because I want to take advantage of my contract with Unlimited SMS text. So please help me with this problem.

Unless you're sending a lot of images and/or videos, it's highly unlikely that you're using up all of your cellular data.

How can I Revert back to IOS7 from IOS8?

Hi Folks,
Is there a way that I can revert back to IOS7 from IOS8 after install on both iPhone and an IPad?
I did not back up either of these devices before doing the upgrade.
I know I should always back up before any updates, but I'm hoping the fact that I did not might be of help in my case.
Any help would be appreciated.
BTW: why do I want to do this? Ever since going to IOS8 my devices have become much slower to start up and also seem jerky during operation.

How do I revert back to Leopard from Snow Leopard?

I've been searching for days on a way to do revert back to Leopard from Snow Leopard (install Leopard over Snow Leopard).
I recently upgraded to SL and have had enough problems with applications that at this point I want to just revert to Leopard and wait a few months until I permanently upgrade.
I tried placing the Leopard install disk in and got as far as rebooting. Once it rebooted to begin installation it did this weird grey screen and force me to restart manually - it continued this in a loop until I removed the disk; which allowed me to boot back up in SL.
Is there a way to do this other than doing a full uninstall wiping all my data? If that is the only option, is there a easy way to transfer my data (Time Machine maybe or something else?)

I would transfer my data manually to a partition on an external firewire drive. Then, I would clone my SL installation to another partition of the drive. Next, I'd start up to my SL installation DVD and use Disk Utility to erase my internal. Afterward, I'd quit Disk Utility and quit the installer. Then, I use my Leopard install disk to reinstall Leopard. Since you are having app problems, I reinstall my apps using, among other things, the app disk that probably came with Leopard. Copy your data back, and you are good to go.

How can I revert back to Yosemite from Windows 8.1?

Looks like I've really screwed up this time. I was trying to set up Windows 8.1 on my iMac Yosemite) and decided to use boot camp. After 8.1 was installed I wanted to go back to Yosemite but can't seem to do it. Is there no way to return to Yosemite from boot camp? I know the drive was partitioned into OS X and Windows sections and when I reboot holding down the option key, there is no partition for OS X shown. Please help.

I opened up my Aperture library in Photos since I was under the impression that it was replacing iPhoto and Aperture, but was disappointed to find a large number of Aperture editing features missing. I suppose this means I need to find a replacement like Adobe Lightroom, but I was hoping to go back to Aperture while I researched alternatives. When I opened Aperture back up my library was empty. I know it's on my computer somewhere, so I'm not panicking, but what are the steps to get your old Aperture library out of Photos and back into Aperture? Thanks!

I upgraded to Yosemite and I was shocked that the OS don't let me use Aperture anymore. The app is still installed on my computer but the OS refuses to start it. Now I have to use the useless Photos app. This is not an upgrade but a downgrade, because Photos misses essential features, for instance comparing two pictures next to each other, good advanced searching by keywords (i.e. with more than one search field), easy editing of keywords, applying keywords to a collection of pictures instead of one, like Aperture does, etc etc. Apple forces users to downgrade to Mavericks or to buy Adobe Lightroom. It is a SHAME.
I want one of these things:
- A better Photos with (at least) the functionality of Aperture. Otherwise it is not an upgrade!
- Use Aperture again under Yosemite. Does anyone know a trick to do this?

How can I retrieve back up's from my old Iphone and download them onto my PC?

I have a couple old iphones with pictures saved on my icould but they are broken. How can I retrive my icould information and save it on my PC?

When you say that you have pictures saved on iCloud from those old phones, do you mean that you backed them up to iCloud at some point? Were the photos taken on the phones? Did you have Photo Stream? Is it the same iCloud account as your new phone?
Here's why I am asking - if they are on the same iCloud account and had Photo Stream, any chance you are still seeing the photos on Photo Stream on your new phone?
If you are certain that the last backups to iCloud that you did with those phones contain the photos you want, you could always take the radical step of restoring a phone to one of those backups, importing the photos, then restoring that phone to the other backup, and importing those photos....
Depends on how badly you want to get those photos....it would be a complicated process, and you would want to make sure that you had the device you were doing all of that on backed up as well, so you could ultimately restore it back to the way it was before you started messing around.....also, they would all need to be on the same iCloud account or you would have to then start messing around with the iCloud settings as well.
But just wanted to let you know that there would be a way to do it....just not a very quick and easy way.

No text ring for Iphone 4 with IOS 5?

I upgraded my Verizon 4 iphone to IOS 5.01 and the text ring no longer works. It only vibrates when a text comes in. Any ideas? Every other alert works fine.

FYI: It seems it was a network problem with my WinXP PC. After complete deletion and new installation of XP and iTunes my iPhone will be recognized correctly, Wifi synchronization works (mostly) fine.

Yeah, I got fat fingers and have jammed into the most bottom part that the screen will let me touch with the case on and stilll can not get it to work.
Again works fine with the case off and I start the swipe up off the illuminated part of the screen and it works every time. Just does not work with the case on to get the Control Center swipe to work.
Not a great big deal but it is a feature that would be nice to have with my favorite Otterbox Defender Case.

Someone nicked my Album Cover flow, without asking. I have snow leopard. I was happy. Just before Christmas as if I havent got enough to do Thank You. I've given Apple loads of money this year--presents and all, the least they could do is tell me, they're going to take stuff off of My computer that I enjoy,/ find very useful/ and worked hard to update all my album covers and have a gallery of my own artwork for my mixes--it was beautiful. When I went to add some more, the facility had been taken away from me. Was so dissapointed. They send me emails all the time to buy the latest must have products. I even did a questionair to help them. They really care for their customers--right. So why couldnt they warn me about this update, its only polite.
If I bought a warm coat some years ago, then the manufatures came round without my knowledge and cut off the left arm, and later told me, their reserch says that people dont use the left arm so much so they have to get rid of it. 1. I think that would be illegal. 2. its impolite not to ask if they could do it. 3. why not give me an options to keep it, seeing as i bought it. 4. its ludicrous.
I trusted Apple-but then -they took my YouTube off my ipad. I cant update to newer software as I will lose some expensive programms (Im not made of money). I also have 2 oldish defunct but fully working laser printers (if they were compatible with new software).
