How do I revert the look of the app store to the iOS 5 look in iOS 6
I dont know why but yesterday the app store reverted back to the iOS5 look and it was amazing, I could see review, scrolling was easy, i could sort through long lists of apps quickly. But then when I opened up the app store today it was back to the idiotic iOS6 look. I dont know how I did it, so if anyone knows of a stting to change it back or an exploit or bug to get back the iOS5 glory that would be appreciated.

Tappng "Private" will enable/disable Private Browsing and change the colour on top of screen from black to white.

Are you sure you have a 2G iPod? A 2G can go to IOS 4.2.1 via:

If the speed of your internet connection is slow, this will affect the download time. Also realize that everyone and their mother are trying to download the update as well...servers get taxed to the max and the download can even be slow for those with the faster internet connections.
That being said, I don't know if it's possible to cancel the OTA (over the air) download. You can effectively force pause it by disconnecting it from your Wi-Fi router until you CAN leave it connected to charge and update. I believe you can go to Settings/Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off from there. Realize though that once you reconnect to your Wi-Fi network, the download will continue. -

If an update is available for your device, connect it to iTunes and use the update feature.
However, you do not need to update your device in order to use ringtones. Simply select the ringtones you wish to sync to your device from the Tones tab in iTunes on your computer when your device is connected to it, and perform a sync. -

Tap the home button and close the multi-task bar. Reset the phone, hold the sleep/wake and home button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, see if you see the same behavior. If you do, the next step to restore from a backup. If that doesn't help, then restore as a new device. If you have to go all the way through restore as a new device and it does not work, then it could be a hardware issue. I've not seen any other posts about screen issues after updates, so one of these should fix it unless there is a problem with the screen.
