How do I revise print format for a group

I'm trying to print a club roster and I can find no way to revise the layout that keeps the phone numbers from being split onto two lines. I find it irritating that I have to go to iCloud to even get it in a an alpha sort, then lack of formating becomes a bigger issue. I can't even find a way to export the whole file to a program that will allow me to maximize the data on the page.
Hopefully I'm just missing the necessarey info and there is a way to do this. I've used Address Book for many years and don't recall having an issue like this. Did the switch to Contacts create the problem? I hope it's just me.

Ms. Linda, it is not just you. I can print my groups in Pocket Address Book and get an alphabetical listing, but the format is bad and cannot be adjusted. Like you I hope Apple fixes this soon. Larry

• How to create a print format in SAP

Hi,
I dont know if this is the right forum to ask this, but I have not done this for a long time. Does anybody know how to maintain a print format such as "X_65_200" that you use when printing a report in SAP? I'm trying to create a format that will use a Legal size paper. Useful answer will be rewarded.

• Changing print format for the Shop papers -External service operations

Hi Friends ,
We want print outs for the external service operations in our PM orders .
The standard format available with shop papers is displayed with some extra info .
We want to remove those info and add some extra info .
Can we change the printing format for these and how much effort it rquires .
Regards
AM

Hi,
In OIDF, define the Shop Paper specially designed for External Service Operations.
In Order, in Print option, go to Operation Selection, select the required operation & select the print layout which is designed for External Service, so that, you can get the print out according to additional fields requirements.
regards,

• RG1 printing format for A4 size paper with all records

RG1 register print not showing all details (Qty.) through J2i6 and no proper printing format for A4 size.
Is there any std. printing format for RG1 ?
Please give the std. ready format for RG1....
THANKS.

Your subject title mentions A4 sized paper, the body mentions US Letter size.
Assuming you want one half of a letter-size for each page, create the page size as portrait, 5.5" wide, 8.5" tall.
Thread in logical order, page 1 through...how many ever pages. You should have a page count evenly divisible by 4.
Export to PDF as normal...single pages.
Open the PDF in Acrobat or Reader, print the booklet from it.

• Development of Print Format for Quotation Comparison Statement

Hi,
Can any tell me about what are the transtcion and configuration involeved in developement of
Print format for Quotaiton Comparision.
Regards
Anil

Not sure what you mean by printing quotation comparison, however the following will enable you to configure output for RFQ and rejection letters:
IMG > Purchasing > Messages > Output Control > Message Types > Define Message Types for Request For Quotation
First maintain message types for RFQ, there should be 3 already in the standard system, ABSA (Quotation Rejection) MAHN (Reminder) NEU (Inquiry). When you create the RFQ initially, NEU will be determined to output the details of the qutation required. To customise the form:
- select line for NEU
- Double click on processing Routines - This will give you a list of the possible output mediums (print, fax etc...), the print programs and print forms available.
- If you want to customise the form, copy existing (MEDRUCK) to a Z object (ZMEDRUCK) in SE71
- make any required changes to ZMEDRUCK using transaction SE71. If you are simply changing layout then changing the form will be enough, if you require additional data on the form, additional programming will be required in the print program (copy SAPFM06P to ZAPFM06P to make changes with SE80). ABAP programming knowledge very useful here or pass to programmer.
- Update customising previously mentioned to use new form/program
- Maintain Condition records in transaction MN01 if you require the output to arrive on the RFQ automatically
The same process can be used for ABSA and MAHN if required. ABSA will only be triggered from Quotation comparison/maintenance if the rejection indicator is checked.

• How to add "Done" button on Number pad? And how to set 00.00 format for UITextField?

1.) I am new to iPhone development. I have a small application & for that I need to add number pad but there is no "Done" button. I know we can get rid of that keyboard by clinking UIView but I want a separate button for this.
2.) My second question is how to set 00.00 format for UITextField as there is no decimal point available on number pad?

As to #1, you should study the iOS HIG - doing what you have in mind might be a good way to risk rejection and not have your app make it into the store.
#2:
On devices running iOS v4.1 and greater you can use the following:
myTextField.keyboardType = UIKeyboardTypeDecimalPad;
It is tricky (and perhaps not worth the trouble) if you are trying to support older iOS versions. Here is a link to the most popular solution.

• How can I publish to A4 print format for handouts etc.

It would appear that the publish to print option for handouts etc in Adobe Captivate 7 thinks that everyone uses letter size paper. Some of us live in the UK where we always use A4 size. Hi,
Try saving your settings as a Preset by clicking the Preset drop down and then select Save Current Settings as a Preset.
Next try changing the settings by selecting the saved preset.
That allow saving the settings for a specific printer, I assume it may also allow selecting these settings for another printer.

• How to Change the default format for differnt language both in java and SQL

Hello,
I am using SQL Anywhere in my application. And in my java client application user can log in with their preferred language like English,French,German,Chinese,etc....When even the user log in to the application the data from the database will be displayed with respective to the language. But when i tried to see the dates in Interactive SQL all the dates r in the format of '2008-12-5 16:44:10:673' but say for example for Chinese it will be displayed as '08-12-5 16.44.10' and for some other language it will come in some other format(which is standard format for those language).
Mean while i am using java client. When ever i am displaying a date it will be with respective to the language using Locale and date format classes. When i am displaying the date for Chinese in GUI it will show the date as '08-12-5 下午4:44'. In summary
1. For Chinese, the default date pattern from SQL Anywhere date base is '08-12-5 16.44.10'
2. For the same language date using java code is displaying as '08-12-5 下午4:44'. and i am getting the time format pattern as 'ah:mm'.I tried to change the display format in regional settings but no change in display.
Is there any way to make both the time format as same?
Please help me to solve this issue!!!
Thanks in Advance!

Hello masijade,
I did as u said but still the date display is not the same......And I'm telling you that it doesn't matter. What "format" the DB likes to display a Date in when it displays it, is completely irrelevant to how you display it in your GUI.
A Date does not have a format. A String representation of a Date does.
As long as you use getDate from ResultSet and setDate from PreparedStatement you do not have to worry about this. Those methods will handle dates to and from the DB themselves. You can then use SimpleDateFormat to display the Date anyway you want to.
Just because you show the Date one way, and the DB shows it another, does not mean that it is not the same date. Don't get hung up on how the String representation of the Date looks.
Edit: If you simply want to be able to do "Human Comparisons" then look at the SQL TO_CHAR function (for Oracle, for other DBs the function name may vary). And for Java, read the API docs for SimpleDateFormat (as already intimated above).

• How to handle Multiple date formats for the same date field in SQL*Loader

Dear All,
I got a requirement where I need to get data from a text file and insert the same into oracle table.
I am using SQL*Loader to populate the data from the text file into my table.
The file has one field where I am expecting date date data in multiple formats, like dd/mon/yyyy, yyyy/dd/mon, yyyy/mon/dd, ,mm/dd/yyyy, mon/dd/yyyy.
While using SQL*Loader, I can see Loading is failing for records where we have formats like yyyy/dd/mon, yyyy/mon/dd, mon/dd/yyyy.
Is there any way in SQL*Loader where we can mention all these date formats so that this date data should go smoothly into the underlying date column in the table.
Appreciate your response on this.
Thanks,
Madhu K.

The point being made was, are you sure that you can uniquely identify a date format from the value you receieve? Are you sure that the data stored is only of a particular limited set of formats?
e.g. if you had a value of '07/08/03' how do you know what format that is?
It could be...
7th August 2003 (thus assuming it's DD/MM/RR format)
or
8th July 2003 (thus assuming it's MM/DD/RR format)
or
3rd August 2007 (thus assuming it's RR/MM/DD format)
or
8th March 2007 (thus assuming it's RR/DD/MM format)
or even more obscurely...
3rd July 2008 (MM/RR/DD)
or
7th March 2008 (DD/RR/MM)
Do you have any information to tell you what formats are valid that would allow you to be specific and know what date format is meant?
This is a classic example of why dates should be stored on the database using DATE datatype and not VARCHAR2. It can lead to corruption of data, especially if the date can be entered in any format a user wishes.
