How do I save a document without it saving the text/object box outlines?

Is it because I'm using the trial that I can't save a document without it showing the outline of every text/object box? I've not selected all, but that's what the saved document looks like...

I just want to save changes in exisitng documents, but a Save as window pops up and I am forced to save as with the same name and replace the document I modified. Is there any way of just saving a document, like in previous versions of InDesing?

Is this a file you are converting to the new version? ID always treats the first save of an existing file iin a newer version as a new document with Save As, to protect you from overwriting the old version. This should revert to a regular save on subsequent times.
If you always get a Save As dialog, there's a problem, eihter wih permissions someplace or a conflict with other software, or perhaps just corrupt prefs. See Replace Your Preferences

I edit the presentation depending on the audience to which I am presenting.

If you add a new slide with just a text box (therefore a very small amount of data), to an existing presentation then save, Keynote will only save the new content to the file, it wont save pre-existing content as its already included in the file.
The time taken to "save" will be very much shorter than a "save as" when all of the existing content is saved again.

I used to be able to convert Pages document easily to iPhoto before I upgraded to Lion. Used to be able to go to: File > Print> PDF (bottom left corner of print dialog box)>Save as PDF to iPhoto.
Now if I do that I have option to save as PDF to iTunes but not to iPhoto.
The advantage of saving Pages to iPhoto was that it was very easy to send email of collages of photos created in Pages.

Will the “other computers,” be Mac, or a mixture of Mac, Windows PC, and possibly Linux?
What application on the other computers will be accessing the Pages content created on your MacBook Pro?
Using the File export options I originally mentioned, you could save the files to iCloud. Then on the other computer, you use the web browser to sign into your iCloud account. When you click the iWork icon, the files that you saved from your MBP will be there. You can then right-click on the file you want and a download option exists.

Do you mean you are wanting to save your adjustments file-by-file as you work on them without exiting ACR via Done and then having to go back into ACR from Bridge, each time? I don’t know as you can that. For Cancel to undo all adjustments for the batch of images, there can’t be something else that saves the adjustments incrementally for individual images. Of course you’re in trouble if you accidentally hit Cancel after doing a batch of edits and lose everything.
The Bridge/ACR workflow was developed many years ago and is pretty simple-minded.
An alternative would be using Lightroom that remembers each adjustment as you do it and stores it in a permanent history so the adjustments are saved immediately but also can be undone, last-to-first, at any point in the future, for a particular image.
