When I try to copy picture with a jpeg extension I am told there is a problem with the format of picture.

As a school teacher I found that most projectors had moderately crummy optics. My answer was to run the projector from my laptop. On the laptop, I would go into full screen mode. Didn't matter what the image was it filled the screen. This also gave me the option of zooming in on a detail, bringing up multiple images to compare etc.
If you have to bring the images to the club meetings on a thumb drive, then a careful crop (You probably want to do that anyway. People who don't need to crop have names like Ansel Adams) Now follow frank's advice and export with fit within.

Since the hdr image is probably 32 bits/Channel, you would need to go to Image>Mode and choose either 16 or 8 bits/channel.
Then in the HDR Toning dialog use the Exposure and Gamma Method with the Exposure set to Zero and Gamma set to One.
Then you should be able to save out your image as a jpeg.

A really simple method is to use the quick selection tool to outline a person or object in a photo. Holding down the alt key changes the tool action from plus to minus - so you can perfect your selection as you go along (e.g. if you accidentally select part of the background)
When you are happy with your selection of the person or object press Ctrl+J - this will automatically create a new transparent layer with your selection as shown by the checkerboard background.
You can then add any other picture or background - here I’ve used a simple green background to illustrate the point by selecting Layer > New Fill Layer > Solid Color
I then clicked on the transparent layer in the layer pallet and dragged it to the top - to reveal the green background behind my person selection.
I then selected the hand tool and the bounding box appeared - by holding down the shift key you can drag the corner handles or sides of the bounding box to resize and then click the green checkmark to confirm OK. You can then drag the image to any position in the frame of your chosen background. Save as PSD to keep your layers for later or click Layer > Flatten Image to save as Jpeg.

You have two options:
1. Set PSE as your external editor, send the photo from iphoto, work on it in PSE and save it without changing the name or format (you don't want to see the Save As window) and iphoto will remember your original + last saved version, although you'll have to lose the edits to see the original again. This doesn't work for raw files and you will probably need to set the Editor preferences>saving files>on first save to save over existing to get it to work for other formats.
2. Export the photo to the desktop, use file>open in PSE, make all the changes you want, save the file in any format with any name you like, then import the edited photo to iphoto as a new file.

It's automatically saved, if you use the Image Capture application already pre-loaded on your computer you specify the folder, file name, and type of file (jpg, pdf, etc...) right there. You didn't say what scanning app you use but I'm sure it is very similar.

How do I save modified RAW images in JPEG format?

Hi,
I have several RAW images that I mass modified with the "Camera Raw" editor (I modified one and applied the changes to all other images). How can I now save the modified images as JPEG images? I know I could open each file in Photoshop and save it as JPEG there, but that would take A LONG time.

They have to be opened, one by one, before the adjustments are applied and the image files saved, but the process can be automated. For instance through the already included Image Processor, or Image Processor Pro, also pre-installed, or through Actions and Droplets you create yourself.

In Firefox 2 I could hold down the Control key and click on an image to open a window with a "Save as" choice. Then I could name the image and chose a location to save it to. In Firefox 3, the window opens as before but the "Save as" choice does nothing. Select clip in timeline and place the playhead over the frame you want to save as a JPEG. Open the share window ( Button on far right of tool bar) and select 'Save current frame'. If you don't see that option click on add destination and select the Save current frame choice. It will be added to your share options.

Hi,
I am trying to understand what you are trying to achieve. If you want to embed a static image, then drag an "image" from the object library. If you want the user to be able to select (or change) the image, then insert an "image field" into your subform.
For what it is worth, I have uploaded a basic PDF with a static image and a dynamic image field.
If you are dictating the images then select "image" objects. If the user has input, then select "image field" objects.
I cannot provide any direction to your second post. If you have the form working with "save as TIFF, I don't know how you would script additional parameters.

Webcam capture & save as JPEG image

I'm creating an application to capture image via webcam using directshow. I've managed to capture the stream using samplegrabber.
the problem is when I save the grabbed image to a JPEG, the colors are incorrect.
