You need the Domain.sites2 file that's located in your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder in order to be able to manage and publish the site from another computer?
Do you have that file? If you do copy it to the same folder on the other computer and you're ready to go.
If not then you'll have to recreate the site from scratch. Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the recreation of the site. 1

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
Once you get the domain.sites file copied from your old Mac to the User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder on your new Mac follow this:

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Ive tried saving photos to my photostream but whenever i select a photo in my camera roll and i click "add to" it doesnt allow me to add it to any pre-existing albums or to even add it to "my photo stream". Please help me get this figured out. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help.

Only photos taken with the Camera or saved to the Camera Roll are sent to PhotoStream. You can cause photos already in the Camera Roll to go to PhotoStream by various roundabout fashions like emailing them to yourself and then saving them.
The point is, however, that putting photos into PhotoStream is in no way "saving them". PhotoStream only retains 1000 photos and those for only 30 days.
If you want to archive photos save them to your computer or save them to a cloud service like Dropbox.

I,ve a question.I,ve 2 tables.one has to do with jobs where there are many duties.(see table 1).The other table has to do with jobseekers where they want specific dutie(see table 2)

The idea is that I must write a subquerie
which will find all the jobseekers with the same dutie as wich the job ask for

This sounds like you have companies that are requesting jobseekers who can do all the duties that they require. So kersten requires someone who can do both "wash dishes" and "sell" and burger king require someone who can do both "cook" and "clean".

This is a user to user forum - you aren't talking to Apple here. However this question has unfortunately arisen frequently and the answer isn't a happy one: only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all. Apple can neither unlock it nor trace him for you.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.

Why does Apple say that Numbers can open and save Excel files, when in actuality, it can only open .XLSX files and only Export to Excel (not save-as excel)?

When attempting to open .XLS files in Numbers, the format is not recognized. When the format is .XLSX, the format is recognized. Why is it this way? It's still much more common for folks to have the .XLS file format on their excel files. Why would Numbers not be backwards-compatible?
Additionally, to state in the benefits of this program that one can save to 'Excel' is a little misleading. You can't save to anything except .numbers. Sure, you can export to Excel (with file extension .XLS, I might add), but you can't save or save-as.
Does anyone else see the irony in being able to export to .XLS but not be able to open an .XLS?
There is something to be said for clarity.
You can't expect folks to have Numbers and Excel on their systems, so how else are they supposed to open .XLS files in Numbers?
And I don't need to see another advertisement for NeoOffice or OpenOffice here, thanks. I'd actually like Numbers to be a little more sensible.

When the advertisements were written, there was no Lion so we were able to Save As Excel.
At thiqs time there is no longer Save As command under Lion but the feature is always available.
When your editing task is ended, you are free to use this scheme:
File > Duplicate
File > Save and in the dialog you will have the option save as Excel.
Numbers isn't and I hope that it will not become an Excel editor.
Its resources contain a flag defining it this way.

I would imagine the problem is with the date. Different DBs have different date formats. To avoid that problem, use a PreparedStatement.

I have an application that add pages to a serten class, that holds up to 4 pages per obj.
this class is printable and it is the obj of this class that i add to a book.
this book i then print out to the printer.
All things is working fine, the positioning, printing 1-4 pages on one paper and so on.
but the problem is when a page is bigger then the are, then it will only print that area that fitts on a paper.
Say we whant to print 4 pages on one paper, one of the pages that we add is containing so much information that it need not only one page but several. The problem is that the program will only print out the first area that fits into the page are, after this page have been printed, it goes on to the 3 other pages on the sam paper.
am i doing any wrong? do i have to keep track of this thing my self, i mean do i have to theck the size of the page and then add it to so many pages in the book that it requaries, or shold the printer self manage this?
I am not using any standard printing option where you chose page nrs and so on. Maby this is the problem?

int the printing method you can get the maximum prontable area if you draw something outsite the area it will not be printed.

If you have used any fancy Pages features, they will be lost in translation to Word. In that case, Export or Print to PDF and send the PDF.

You create the usernames and passwords where you host your website. Made with or without iWeb.
Usually it's done in the controlpanel where you manage your account.
