How do I save all current tabs in a bookmark folder?

Previous versions of Firefox allowed me to "bookmark all tabs" via a dialog that let me to create a bookmark folder. Version 4 no longer gives me that option. In addition, if I quit Firefox with multiple tabs open, when I next reopened Firefox, those tabs were open (if I quit with only a single tab open, reopening was to my home page). How do I regain this behavior?

Your answer was both to the point and prompt. The first change seems to violate the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" axiom. The second change is actually an improvement. Now, you can recover from a previous closing mistake by allowing you to restore the previous session. Once again, however, I wish that it was documented although I admit that I didn't look as hard in the docs for an answer to the second problem as I did for the first.

One of the best things about firefox on my desktop is the way I could group bookmarks into folders per subject or task,then open them all in tabs. It is not a default feature of Firefox mobile. Sounds possible via an extension. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/mobile/ Though anything more than 3-5 would cause some performance problems while the pages are downloaded. If a large number were selected there is a good chance that all the memory on the tablet would be exhausted and Firefox would be killed by Android.

You can access bookmark all tabs by right-clicking on a tab, or use the keyboard shortcut Control+Shift+D

Is there a way to "Open All in Tabs" in a bookmark folder and have the new set of tabs replace or close the ones I already have open? Prior to v8 it use to do this.

Used to be, if I had a blank tab open and I activated "open all in tabs" on a folder with 3 websites, I would get 3 open websites only. Since v8, the original blank tab stays open too. Is there a setting I can Change to fix this? Going back to close the original blank tab is getting frustrating.

Just upgraded to lateste verison of Firefox and started using the Tab groups. Like them, but noticed that Save all bookmarks is now gone. How do I save all my bookmark stored inside the tab groups?

I am using Firefox 6.0 (and still using windows XP ). I have a habit of opening tons of tabs and the new Tab group feature seems perfect for me. But I couldn't find anywhere to save all my tabs as the Save all bookmarks is now gone. How do I save all my bookmarks stored inside the tab groups?

I had to restart firefox because of an update and I saved all my tabs and when I restarted firefox it has lost all of my saved bookmarks...won't be using the new tab groups again..very disappointed

I used to be able to save all open tabs to a folder in Bookmarks, but cannot figure out how to do that in Firefox 4.0.

Older versions of Firefox allowed the user to save all open tabs to a folder in Bookmarks with one touch (not laboriously bookmarking each tab), so if Firefox did not remember your tabs when re-opening your browser after closing down for the night, you could at least re-open each tab if you'd been clever enough to save them to a Bookmarks folder. I still have my Bookmarked folders full of tabs from previous months, so I know I'm not imagining this useful Bookmark function.
I cannot find this function, Save All Tabs (I think that's what it was called,) under Bookmarks anymore.

How can I remove 'Open all in tabs' from my bookmarks? It's very annoying when you click on it by error. I downgraded from 29 to 28 because of the various bookmark issues I was having. I never had this issue with previous version of FF, why did they have to mess with stuff that was working.

I updated the phone before backing it up on iTunes, now the update wanted me to connect the phone with iTunes and it says the phones in recovery mode and it must be restored before its used with iTunes. I go to click restore and it says it will reset it to factory default and I'll lose all my current data. I have all my sons pictures and videos along with this notes. I can't lose all of this data! You have to restore the iPod, no ifs, ands, or buts...
After iOS is installed you will be asked if you what to set it up as a new iPod or if you want to restore from a backup.
If you have a good backup you can restore that and you're good to go.
If you don't have a good backup, then you end up with a "clean" iPod....

This is not asking for a problem fix.
How can I save my current Firefox 3.6 customization, toolbar set-up, plug-ins, add-ons, etc. to a file or files so I can install it, pre-customized, after I do a re-format and clean install of a new Windows 7 operating system?
I am currently in Windows Vista.
I'm just trying to make it so I don't have to re-customize everything I already have done by doing a fresh installation of Firefox.
Or can I just save the existing Mozilla Firefox program folder and then drag and drop it into the new programs folder in Windows 7?

Just saving the progams folder will not work, the user data is stored elsewhere.
