I want to save my bookmarks as tabs...so that all my bookmarks/tabs open up every time I open up Firefox. Is this possible?

Before this new update, every time I close multiple tabs Firefox will ask me to save and quit. After this update I checked my settings in Options: Show my windows and tabs from last time is set, I also have keep cookies/history, and even went as far as going in to "config:about" and toggled quit warning back on with this update 20.0.1, and when I press "X" it just warns of closing multiple windows and not even save/quit. How do I save my file using InDesign CS6 so that it can be opened with CS5?

I know other people asked similar questions but I can't find anything that helps me figure my issue out.
Basically, I packaged my file using InDesign CS6. When I sent it to the person it needed to be sent to, she couldn't open it. She was running CS5.
So now I'm trying to REpackage it still using CS6 but when I make an IDML version and try to package it, it says that I need to SAVE it. Well the only options are CS6, which I can't use again, and another IDML version. If I did the IDML it would just save it as another untitled document and then I'd have to start all over.
Actually I just tried that, and InDesign crashed.
Any suggestions?

There is no such function in InDesign as 'saving to a lower version' (as it is in e.g. FrameMaker). There are interchange formats: obsolete INX (CS2,CS3,CS4) and current IDML (CS5, CS5.5, CS6).
You need to export (ctrl+e) previously saved document into IDML and attach to existing INDD file (Attaching is not necessary as IDML is a self-sufficient file). Also it's a really good idea to attach a PDF file (from CS6) as there might be some differences when opening a IDML from higher file in lower version program.
Final package could look like this:
     Document fonts
     Links
          original file.indd
          original file.idml
          original file.pdf

Just upgraded to lateste verison of Firefox and started using the Tab groups. Like them, but noticed that Save all bookmarks is now gone. How do I save all my bookmark stored inside the tab groups?

I am using Firefox 6.0 (and still using windows XP ). I have a habit of opening tons of tabs and the new Tab group feature seems perfect for me. But I couldn't find anywhere to save all my tabs as the Save all bookmarks is now gone. How do I save all my bookmarks stored inside the tab groups?

I had to restart firefox because of an update and I saved all my tabs and when I restarted firefox it has lost all of my saved bookmarks...won't be using the new tab groups again..very disappointed

How do I save all current tabs in a bookmark folder?

Previous versions of Firefox allowed me to "bookmark all tabs" via a dialog that let me to create a bookmark folder. Version 4 no longer gives me that option. In addition, if I quit Firefox with multiple tabs open, when I next reopened Firefox, those tabs were open (if I quit with only a single tab open, reopening was to my home page). How do I regain this behavior?

Your answer was both to the point and prompt. The first change seems to violate the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" axiom. The second change is actually an improvement. Now, you can recover from a previous closing mistake by allowing you to restore the previous session. Once again, however, I wish that it was documented although I admit that I didn't look as hard in the docs for an answer to the second problem as I did for the first.

You have to restore the iPod, no ifs, ands, or buts...
After iOS is installed you will be asked if you what to set it up as a new iPod or if you want to restore from a backup.
If you have a good backup you can restore that and you're good to go.
If you don't have a good backup, then you end up with a "clean" iPod....

In summary, it sounds to me as though the Mac concept of "hidden extension per file" isn't embraced at all by Photoshop.
So assuming the extension is always visible, what is the easiest way do each of the following (ignoring issues with integration with other apps):
1. Save a JPEG as: abc.jpg
2. Save a JPEG as: abc
3. Save a JPEG as: abc.
4. Save a JPEG as: abc.xxx
Since it seems to me we still haven't nailed down whether there's a disparity between how this works on Photoshop for Mac vs. PC, I'll answer the above questions for PC:
1. File - Save As, choose Format: JPEG, type (replace filename with): abc
2. No difference than 3 on a PC.
3. File - Save As, choose Format: JPEG, type: abc.
4. File - Save As, choose Format: JPEG, type: abc.xxx
How is it different from the above on a Mac?
Is there something more complex, such as the sequence of operations, or another system setting, that I didn't cover here? I normally always keep Explorer set so that file extensions are visible (it's global on a PC).

It's always good to have a backup, but Snow Leopard should leave all your data intact, just install new OS components & updated Apple Apps.
If you don't have room to back everything up...
On Mail...
First Quit Mail, then I'd backup these two Mail folders, by right clicking on them in the Finder, then choose Archive/Compress.
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail Downloads
(Could be a different folder here if you chose such in Mail Prefs)
Right click on that Mail folder, choose archive, you'll get everything in the folder, and the folder itself in a file called Mail.zip, move it to a safe place, same for the Mail Downloads folder... only the plist is separate.
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
For Address Book, quit AB...
Files...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.AddressBook.abd.plist

How can I save all the edits (Presets?)I made to my pics? It might come in handy to know which changes I made in the near future to maybe come back at them. I need to save the original (unedited) pics too I guess. If possible can some1 explain how to save them as a batch since I have thousands of pics.

Any edits should be saved automatically with the images. Open any edited picture and select the history panel and all the changes for that picture should be listed there. This data is contained with the other catalogue data.
All edits are non destructive and the origional image is left untouched. You can verify this by openning an image from the LR catalogue in another image viewer and see that the image has not been edited. BUT if you open the edited image in LR, the edited image will be displayed.
Your images will only be edited in LR unless you export the edited images to a new file. The new images will contain all the editting.
If you print an edited image from LR, your edited image will be printed but if you print it with another program you wil get the origional unless you exported the edited image to a new file and rinted from the new file.
If I need to use the edited images for a project, I export them as jpg's or psd's if using PS. These new exported images will be the edited versions of the selected images from this file even if opened with ay other image viewer.
