How do I save an image using image capture after i scan a document?

How do I save an image in image capture, after I've scanned a document?

Hi, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
The process may differ a bit, depending upon which version of the OS you are using. Open the Image Capture application and click on the Help menu for it.
In Mac OS X 10.6.8, I get this:
Control + click on image and choose to "Open Link in New Tab" (or window) in order to see the full-size image.
According to those instructions, it looks as though the scan should be automatically saved to the folder you've chosen.

  • How to count number of vehicles using image processing tools in LabVIEW

anyone can give me idea that how to do counting of vehicles using image processing tools

    Hello,
if camera is stationary, first take an image of the background. Then subtract each acquired image from the reference image. Limit the region of interest - build a mask of the area, where you want to detect vehicles. Use only the pixels that are under the mask for further processing. You probably would need to do some morphological operations (for example dilate) to make the detection more noise-free...
Maybe you could get more reference images (different time of day) and compare the average intensities of the acquired and the reference image to select the best image for subtraction.
You could then probably just count the numer of objects to get the number of vehicles.
You can perhaps also use optical flow to track the vehicles, but you would need to compute some features for example strong corners for each vehicle (check good features to track, http://docs.opencv.org/modules/imgproc/doc/feature_detection.html). Or you can use the new mean-shift tracking library (Labview 2013).
    Hope this helps a bit.

  • How do I  save and re-use a fillable form once I have created it? It is a form i will use for multiple medcial clients I see, then print out and put in paper chart, and then do it again for another patient. - I just got Acrobat XI

I've created a fillable form from a Word document, but how do I save and re-use a a fillable form once I have created it? It is a form I will use for multiple medical patients, printing out the filled in form to put in paper chart (no need to save filled out form), and then fill blank form again for another patient? - I just got acrobat X

    Thanks!
That should also save the blank form for future re-use, right.?
Can I also file the blank form in the file system, and then retrieve it as a blank form when I have a next patient need for it?
    Thanks

    Hello,
I want to know how to do SAVE AS DRAFT using Java
    mail Api.
thanksI don't think you can. That sounds like a feature of a mail client app itself. The Java mail API is for when you're ready to actually send the thing. Saving drafts is storing them somewhere like you would any other data; nothing to do with the mail API.

When printing in Excel It is always want to use the acrobat X pro trial, which the trial is expired. I do not want to use acrobat X pro trial anymore. How can I reset it and use simple acrobat to print my PDF document?

    Hi screen name,
Adobe PDF printer gets installed when you install Acrobat 10 Pro.
To use this printer you need to purchase Acrobat. Once the trial period is over you cannot use the printer to create pdf files.
An alternative way for you is to utilize Microsoft's own inbuilt pdf engine.
You can simply open the file and select 'Save as' and in the type list select 'pdf'

How do I save annotations? Even if I close out of the document or email it to myself I don't see the annotations in the document I email to myself. Thanks.

    Hi,
Are you editing a local document or a Acrobat.com document?
If you are using Preview to open the document that you emailed to yourself, you will not see the added annotations. This is a limitation in Preview.
If you open the same pdf in Adobe Reader app, you would see the added annotations saved in the pdf file.
Please do let us know if this helps.
    Thanks,

  • New to using Firefox with MAC: How does one save a single jpeg image from the web (as in a right click on a pc?)

New to using Firefox with MAC: How does one save a single jpeg from the internet, similar to using the right mouse click on a pc?

If your question comes about because you have a single button mouse, it's time to visit your local computer store and get a ''real'' mouse for that MAC. I don't "get" Apple, they sell their hardware for almost twice what a comparable PC would sell for - and then they leave out what is probably the most important time saving control, the right-button.
See this for setting the hidden pref for context menus in Firefox, for Mac's.
    http://kb.mozillazine.org/Ui.click_hold_context_menus
type '''about:config''' in the URL bar and hit Enter
    Pref Name = '''ui.click_hold_context_menus'''

  • How do I save an avi from images acquired through buffers?

    Hi all,
I recently have started using Labview, mainly for IMAQ purposes. I started by learning how to save images, then how to do just avi's. Now the problem comes up is that I want to find a way to average a bunch of images together in real time. So that as the program runs (I dont have to actually be recording) I can have an out put of what the camera sees, just with maybe 10+ frames averaged together. Best way I could think of doing this was using buffers and then adding them all together before it starts to write overtop of them again. But how can I save that summed picture? I try to take that result and run it to an image on the front panel (which works) but when I go to save it to avi or something it says that I can not convert buffer images, also if I try to do the copy buffer it gives me that the image needs to be released. I will attach sort of what I have now, though it does not work.
Any ideas would be helpful. Thank you all very much!

This may not help at all...
But have you thought of not using buffers?
Since you're using the IMAQ package anyway, if you don't need a super high frame rate why don't you just grab individual images put them into a shift reg. and sum for x=n, then plop that summed image to a new imaq image to save and start over.  I say this because if you're only trying to grab an avi for the individual images why not just grab the individual images as jpgs or whatnot and save yourself the trouble?

Select the mapped area. Apply the Show/Hide Layer behavior.

  • Resizing large quantites of images using image processor - STUCK

I have upgraded to Photoshop CC. I am attempting to resize large quantites of images using the image processor. I need both the width and height set to an exact number for web use. When I enter the pixel size into the "resize" boxes and click run, the sizes i get are correct on one dimension but slightly off on the other dimension. When I just do one image at a time to these same dimensions it resizes correctly? It appears it only does when selecting large qunatites. Any suggestions?die

Since you do not want to crop your images to a square 1:1 aspect ratio changing the canvas to be square will not make your images square they will retain their Aspect Ratio and  image size will be changer to fit within your 1020 px square. There will be a border or borders on a side or two borders on opposite sides.   You do not need a script because Photoshop ships with a Plug-in script to be used in Actions.   What is good about Plugins is the support Actions.  When you record the action the plug-in during action recording records the setting you use in its dialog into  the actions step.  When the Action is played the Plug-in use the recorded setting an bypasses displaying its dialog. So the Action can be Batch.  The Action you would record would have two  Steps.   Step 1  menu File>Automate>Fit Image... in the Fit Image dialog enter 1020 in the width and height  fields.  Step 2 Canvas size enter 1020 pixels in width and height  not relative leave the anchor point centered it you want even borders on two sides set color to white in the canvas size dialog. You can batch the action.
The above script will also work. Its squares the document then re-sizes to 1020x1020  the action re-sizes the image to fit with in an area 1020 x 1020 then add any missing canvas. The script like the action only process one image so it would also need to be batched. Record the script into and action and batch the action. As the author wrote. The script re size canvas did not specify an anchor point so the default center anchor point is uses  like the action canvas will be added to two sides.

  • How can I save Text as an Image?

I need to make a picture (jpg. or etc..) of some text. Anyone know how I can do that?

The easiest way is probably to use commandshift4, otherwise the app you are using to make the text may be able to save as an image.

    Hi Theydon,
The number of photos is going to be set by how often you are calling that IMAQdx Snap.  This right now is going to be limited by the prep time between shots.  If you make it so the loop will run more than once a second, you will get more photos.
Secondly, why do you have that while loop around the write to file?  You don't actually need it, and this is probably what is causing the files to skipover those files.  If you would still like to decide whether or not to save the image, you could use a case structure instead of this while loop.
