How do I save an image when there is a link attached?

At times I run across an image that I want to "save" but it has a link attached to it, usually a link to the site's home page.
When the link is there I am not given an option to save the image, just options relating to the link.
How can I save such an image?

Links can use "inline" images or "background" images.
Inline images should appear on the right-click menu whether they are linked or not. (For example, the picture to the left of this reply should have both a link section and an image section.)
Background images may not appear in that scenario (for example, the Firefox logo at the top of this page). You can save those images using
Tools > Page Info > Media
but it does take a little time to down-arrow through the list to find the one you want to save.

When I try to same an image under the command 'save as' it will only let me save as file types 'firefox document' or 'all files' and when I try to look at them later they dont work. How can I save an image as the same file type it is on the web site?!

Thanks Alex, but sadly I already tried that. Neither .docx or .xlsx files show up in the content list. They both show as a Chrome HTML document so changing how Firefox addresses those doesn't help since it thinks its the same type of file. I don't think I can manually add files into the "Content Type" left side nav.

How can I save my images like a "wedding photographer" does?

I have a Pixma PRO-100. . . with a Windows 8.1 PC. . . and printing through Adobe Photoshop Elements 11.
I just printed some wedding pictures of my daughter - which I got from the "wedding photographer"... when I printed them - they were an exact match to what I saw on my screen (which I've calibrated)... and dead on crisp, great quality.
I'm wondering what a wedding photographer does to their images to make them so "solid" in printing. How do they save them?
when I print something from a my files, (Raw, NEF, or JPEG's) - there always seems to be a color or quality problem? Never a match. It takes several adjustments and print samples before I get what I want.
Is the ICC Profile a problem - or How can I save my images like a wedding photog does? So they print exact?

I suspect there are some minor differences you are not seeing and/or noticing on screen. But right off, no real wedding photographer will shoot in anything except RAW. You should be using RAW, only, too. The RAW file to start with has way more info in it than any jpeg does.
Next I would bet your wedding photographer does some tweaking to highlights and shadows, plus s ome other stuff that you are not. In other words he is getting the photos ready for printing. Remember printing on paper and "printing for on screen" is two different things.

There must be an underlying premise for this question that I'm missing... When you run code everything is in memory... Programming 101. Create a variable, set a value to it, and it's in memory. Create a front panel control set a value to it and it's in memory. Data carried by the wires you use to connect your code is in memory. Or are you asking about controlling how that memory is managed - physical vs swap file?

Put the logo on its own layer set the layer fill to 0 and add a layer style to the logo layer. Here I duped one change fill to 0 added style.

There is a workaround to move from 1.5 version to the older 1.4 version. But this could be specific to the browser setting the JRE version.

My system (Windows XP) has the version 1.5_09 set as the default. However i just installed JRE 1.5_06 and would like to revert back to _06 as the default JRE..

I think you can try with Status Profile in BS02 define and assign for item category TANN.
In status profile you can block the delivery and also billing unless some changes the object status as released.

how to remove save, cancel option when end user runs the workbook and make some small changes like using page items or increasing rows and columns
I already made 2 changes
1) I removed the option in Oracle Enterprise Manager under discoverer viewer of saving
2) I also removed the option of Allow saving changes made in Viewer when adding workbook to portal
But still the end user gets options of saving when made small changes to workbook like increasing rows and columns
Is their any place, I need to make changes?

Don't use JSP to serve a binary file. It almost implies the use of awful scriptlets and the invocation of both the response writer and the response outputstream which would only lead to IllegalStateException headaches in the server logs.
Use a Servlet instead. Specify the file name as request parameter and let the servlet read the file and write it to the outputstream of the response.

Hold command shift 4 and draw a box around what you want and then click again, on your desktop a .png file will appear.
To convert it to jpeg, open it in Preview and Save as.
