Files/documents need to be stored/associated within an app on the iPad, unlike 'normal' computers there is no file system which allows you to save files with no means of being able to read/use them. Interesting note: I can see the files when I use the search function, but when I tap either file, I return to my home screen. The video does not open. I can transfer the file to my MBA, and it plays fine, but I cannot figure out a way to delete them.

Do you mean to delete them from numbers, or from the shared folder location in the upper right? The previous poster was addressing the second. If you want to completely delete something from the iPad, you must do both, the trash can icon when e current workbook is in front of the list, and swipe to delete from the shared folder list. It's two completely different locations.

You need an app into which it can be saved. Download iBooks or Adobe Reader which are both free in the App Store, then you can save the PDF files into one of those apps. I prefer Adobe Reader because you can annotate, highlight, rename create folders, add your signature and do some other things that you cannot do with iBooks.
After you download one of those apps, tap the PDF file in order to open it, than tap on the screen somewhere in order to make the sayer icon appear in the upper right corner. Tap the share icon and then select Open In iBooks or Adobe Reader from the resulting pop up window. That will save the file to the app.

I am using iCloud on my MacBook Pro (OS X Lion) and iPhone 4 (iOS 5). Everything works just fine, but I'd like to put miscallenous files to the cloud as well, like .zip, .dat, .txt, .ini, .doc. On my MacBook I have put them all into the folder "Documents".
Question 1: Are my files, now that I put them to the Documents folder, in the Cloud already?
Question 2: How can I now access and view those files on my iPhone? (I used MobileMe before, and there I used a app called "iDisk",)

Don't whine, there is a workaround, better than the idisk.
Download an app you wish to work as your iDisk. It is essential that this app supports iCloud. I personally prefer the GoodReader app.
Go to your /Users/<root folder name>/Library/Mobile Documents folder and locate the folder the app uses to store your files.
Create a folder in the "Documents" folder of the folder you found. I named that folder iCloud docs. You can name it whatever you want... e.g iDisk
(now let's add some style) download the icon I created.
Open the icon I created with preview and press cmd + a and then cmd + c .
Select the "iCloud docs" folder you created, or whatever you named it, press cmd + i
Select the folder icon on the top left and press cmd + v
Select again the folder and press cmd + L
Drag & drop the alias folder wherever you need it
or
8. If you want to be supercool you can also drag & drop the original (not the alias) folder on your dock.

How can I open and copy files on the win side from the mac side?

I am working on the mac side and I need to be able to copy files from the mac side that I create over to the win side. I can open and view win files when I am booted to Snow Leopard, but I cant copy files to the win side. I think Macdrive does the opposite.
Any ideas?

to write to Windows NTFS you need 3rd party.
You have read only access to HFS from Windows.
MacDrive8 works in Windows to add write to HFS as does Paragon. Paragon has what I have come to see as the best NTFS driver for OS X, and they have a separate HFS8 for Windows similar to MacDrive8.
Maybe you want to run Windows as a client OS using Parallels instead?

You drag it using Windows Explorer and not in iTunes. Itunes library merely link the movie in iTunes library to your file location.
After you have dragged the file to another location, remember to link your original movie in itunes library to the new location. Right mouse click the movie, GET INFO, click LOCATE and direct to the new location (otherwise, your movie will not play)

Having been deceived by Adobe's CCloud can and can't do, We are testing it out in projects VERY CAREFULLY.
I have a similar interest in in keeping the comments with the PDF client. Here what I have discovered so far from our own personal hands on real world work.
So here is what happens if you just upload another PDF let say Rev 2 the comments of Rev one stay with Rev 1 and Rev 2 starts new comments. That's ok for some of my proofing needs with clients. However...
In another scenario we want to keep all the comments with the PDF as it goes through design phases for this we have been using the "replace" feature of the of the Web interface on the CCloud. We are encountering some problems as we are not all on the same team. This could be the root of our issue and the complete workflow is still InDesign to PDF Proof with multiple cloud users that are not on a team. You can't add a single account user to your team without paying for a full "team" account on top of the current single account users that we already bought for the designer and client and photographer and copy writers and printers.
We felt ripped off paying for a years worth of "team" accounts and no folder sharing. The worst part was the no comment from Adobe over the issue, hence that lack of trust with Adobe's claims and lack of detailed information in a comprehensible format. We will not pay for another team account ever again. The Single user account has all the same software for less money. We have our own cloud environment as Adobe pulled the rug out from under us as we demonstrated the cloud environment to our clients they were shutting it down without any advance notice. We looked like fools to our clients and Adobe will have to put some reliable effort in proving they can be trusted.

I'm assuming this is a form. Is that correct? Do you know if the form was created with Acrobat (acroform) or LiveCycle Designer (XFA)? XFA forms are not supported by the mobile version of Adobe Reader. They may appear to work when filling, however.
