I just installed Lion and want to save my documents to the cloud.

You can add all the documents to the App's local via iTunes Files Sharing. Then send those files to iCloud from the App. Then you will see them on all your iOS Devices.

Thank you so much - so simple! I had been using the 'share' option (worked in old Pages) and only had icloud or email as options. I have to attach word documents to emails to send to work. I don't want to use icloud because it's too public and I don't trust it. Also, you have to be able to access the internet and I need word documents on my USB stick for work where there's no internet.
I love my Mac but I do wish Apple would remember those of us living in less-than-perfect computer-land.

How to recover deleted documents in the cloud

I am using the windows phone app. I made sure my files were saved to the cloud at adobe.com I then updated my phone and reset it. After reinstalling the adobe app by files were intact. The next day I opened the app again and it requested I sign in again. Which was odd and once I did all my files with the exception of one were gone. I don't know how this happened. I assume the cloud made an error an synced my phone to the cloud by deleting everything in the cloud except one local file. I need to know how to recover them. What's the point of this feature if my documents are so volatile?

Can you please ensure that you are viewing the documents in 'Document Cloud' tab and not 'Recent' tab?

I just reinstalled iTunes (11.1.3.8) on a new PC (Win 8.1). I now see, that some of the media I had previously bought on iTunes are stored on my hard drive, others are stored in the cloud. I don't know why one is here and the other is there.
Since I cannot change information for media stored in the cloud (e.g. genre), I would like to save all my media in the cloud also to the hard drive, so I can alter the information.
Is there a way to do it?

Files are automatically saved to your online account when you use the Acrobat.com online services. However, you can most certainly download the files to your computer, by selecting them at https://cloud.acrobat.com/files, and then clicking the Download icon.

As mentioned above by Bernd Alheit you will have to download the file on the local disc from the cloud & then upload it again, however you will have to rename the file as the architecture does not support two or more files with a similar name.

Adobe Max was a smoke and mirror show and they demonstrated "Folder Sharing" so we bought into it. Myself and 7 of my clients. After the Max show they turned it off like nobody would notice. Two weeks after they stopped the folder sharing feature they put a little notice that they had did this. Nice how they treat their loyal customers. Every month they charged us an extra $20 over a single account without the folder sharing. What good is "team work" if you can't share a folder of files. Sharing a single file at a time is a waste of time.
After a year still no folder sharing but the same old story of "soon". Adobe is using the extra money they are "stealing" from paying clients to pay for this development. We are being forced to pay the extra money again for another year as there is no way to downgrade to a single user account. Adobe likes to use this as an excuse to continue to rob and steal from loyal user that have no choice but to deal with these crooks.
My only suggestion is for new users not to buy the team account package. There marketing material is filled with misleading statements that gives the potential new customer the impression that they can work in teams, as if a team can work sharing single files. This is a sign that Adobe is about the cash grab and not about the quality of software and the end user experience.

When I go into system preferences, then iCloud, then manage, it does not let me view what is there only says: ex: The documents stored inside Pages take up 623.3KB and gives me the option to: Delete Documents and Data. It does not let me see what files are there. I think it is time for me to go back to my apple store and get more acquainted with iCloud and storage and how to manage it. I had some issues with my mac about a month ago after downloading an updated version. The issue was related to syncing, iCloud, iTunes, calendar and storage. I am nervous about loosing more documents, photos, etc..from my Mac. Thank you for the information.

Just to expand on what Rysz said, iCloud - at this time - excels at letting you sync certain data between your Apple devices. If you have more than one Apple device (computer, iPhone, iPad, etc) then your calendar events from one device show up on another. The bookmarks in your browser can be the same on all devices - add a bookmark on your computer and it will be added to your iPad. Contact information, notes, reminders, etc can all be shared. If you have an iOS device iCloud can be used to back up important information - not the entire phone or iPad but your settings and configurations. Due to Apple’s initial iOS design iCloud doesn’t do a great job as a repository of data like word processing documents and it isn’t for backing up your computer data.
If you want to back up your computer - and you really should - invest in a good external drive (or two) and use a backup program. Apple’s TimeMachine is a good first start but it is always good to have a second backup and many of us like having a backup that can be booted into. This is a clone and two good cloning programs are CarbonCopyCloner and SuperDuper! A clone is a backup that you can immediately boot your computer with - TimeMachine’s backup cannot do that.
