How do i save image as a Jpeg?

I cant work out how to save my image so i can print it!!

There are two ways. File>save as  or File>Save For Web.
Either option will save as a jpeg. In the save as dialog box look toward the bottom for a file type box. Click it and you can choose from a variety of file formats there including jpg. If you see a bunch of formats but jpg is not listed, then odds are your in the wrong mode. Jpg is only supported in 8 bits per channel. Goto Image>Mode then choose 8bits/channel.
As for save for web - In the upper righthand corner of that dialog box you can choose a preset or select the drop down box for the file format.

    Thanks for the follow up.
In Premiere Elements 13/13.1, your export choices are in the Publish+Share section of the project. There are several choices and sub-choices.
Example: Publish+Share/Computer/and then a list of choices under that, such as, MPEG, AVI, AVCHD, XAVC-S, Windows Media, QuickTime, Image, Audio.
And each has Presets which define the export settings. Adobe offers default settings which are usually optimized ones. But, it also allows you to customize the preset selected. You do that by clicking on the Advanced Button of the selected preset and customizing the settings under the Video Tab, Audio Tab, and, if applicable, Multiplexer Tab.
From what you wrote, I thought that you might be asking about exporting a video with a video codec = Photo JPEG.
To do that you would to to
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    QuickTime
with Presets = either the one for 4:3 of 16:9 as appropriate for your project,
and then clicking on the Advanced Button, and then the Video Tab under the Advanced Button.
Then selecting Photo JPEG for the video codec field.
Tip: The QuickTime choice is not seen unless you scroll down the list of Computer choices. Use the thin scroll bar to the right of the Computer choices.
Please explore Premiere Elements 13/13.1's Publish+Share/Disc/DVD with standard or widescreen preset for your creation of the DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc.
The Premiere Elements timeline destined for this choice could consistent of supported photos and or videos.
    Please consider.
Any questions and need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.

  • How do I save images?

its probably very simple and ill feel stupid reading the answer but how do i save images while browsing on my phone

dmcritchie that won't work on Firefox mobile.
If you can open the image directly such as http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/73/UpHellyAa7%28AnneBurgess%2930Jan1973.jpg if you long click on the image you will get a context menu with save image as an option. If the image is part of a page I don't think you will be able to save the image.

  • How can I save images as a bitmap instead of jpeg format?

I would like to save images I find at web sites in bitmap format.
However it seems only jpeg type format is the way firefox will let me save images. Is there a way to save images in bitmap format?

Firefox will only save an image in the format that it is delivered in, it has no file type conversion capabilities.

  • How do I save image and text as a single image in InDesign CS5.0?

How do I save an image and text as one image in InDesign CS5.0? NOT 5.5.
I need to save the image as a 72-dpi, jpg file for ePub purposes. I designed a book and am handing it off to someone for ePub.
    This is what I've tried:
    1) Copied from InDesign, pasted into a PhotoShop doc as a Smart Object. Saved it as 72 dpi jpg, then imported back into ID.
    2) Took a screenshot of ID page, placed it in PS, saved as 72 dpi, imported into ID
    3) Saved page as a PDF from InDesign, then saved PDF as 72 dpi jpg, then imported into ID.
    4) Save page as a PDF from InDesign, placed into Photoshop and saved
as 72 dpi, then imported into ID.
    5) Saved as an EPS from InDesign, placed in PS, then imported back to ID.
In all cases, the type looks terrible. It doesn't seem to matter whether I copy or place into Photoshop, though placing is slightly better.
    HELP!!!

In all cases, the type looks terrible. It doesn't seem to matter whether I copy or place into Photoshop, though placing is slightly better.
Naturally what you did will result in rasterized text. Did you preview with high quality settings?
Are you sure the people who will handle that downstream need pixel images and do you have the exact pixel dimensions needed?
Why did you place the image back in Indesign, by the way?

  • How do I "Save Image As"?

In Netscape I can click (I have a standard mouse, not one with right and left clicks) on an image and get a list of choices, one in particular called "Save Image As..." When I click onto that I am able to not only save the image from the webpage but I am also able to rename the file and download it into any file of my choosing that I have on my computer. How can you do this in Safari? I have tried the 'control' 'option' and apple' keys, and all they will do is allow me to download the image onto my desktop. I then have to rename the file and then drop it into the proper file. This is a lot of hassle and work compared to Netscape. Is there a way to do this in Safari, and if not, Apple would you please incorporate that feature into a future update release for Safari? Does anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks!

    Lisa,
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
Control + Click on the image (release the control key, but continue to hold the mouse click) then depress the Option Key which will change the "Save Image to the Desktop" command to read "Save Image As..." and then select the Save Image As... link. You will then see the the "Save As:" field which can be expanded by clicking on the ▼ arrow. You will now be able to name the file and navigate to the desired save location.

I am going to take you on a path through the Elements Organizer to get your end product DVD-VIDEO on DVD in Premiere Elements. You may want to do this as a mini test run with less than your 280 photos but I will describe the following for 280 photos and then let you be the judge of how many photos.
    INTRODUCTION
Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 being used here will be a 32 bit application whether it is running in a 32 bit or 64 bit system. So, maximum supported installed RAM = 4.0 GB with 3.0 GB or less are available. Assumed is an optimized computer and Premiere Elements 9.0.1 Update.installed. See Help Menu/Updates.
Open the program and set the project preset for NTSC-DV-Standard 48 kHz
When the program opens, go to and click on the “Organizer” at the tab right of the Premiere Elements workspace.
On the top right of the Elements Organizer look for and click on your Album with your 280 photos each with pixel dimensions of 2580 x 1920 (4:3). You will know that you have the correct viewing if you see the thumbnails numbered consecutively. At this stage you can change the order of the photos by clicking and dragging them around in the group.
    Next we want to batch resize all 280 photos from 2580 x 1920 4:3 to 1000 x 750 4:3.
    BATCH PHOTO RESIZING
Highlight all 280 numbered and sorted thumbnails in the Album.
Go to Elements Organizer File Menu/Export As A New File(s). Use the Export dialog to export the resized 1000 x 750 photos to a folder that you create on the computer desktop to receive them. Have the Export New Files dialog set as follow for this export to the desktop folder which we will name "Resize Slideshow Photos".
Click this image for larger view.
Go to the Elements Organizer and create a new Album which we will call "Resized Photos" Album. Then import your photos from the "Resized Slideshow Photos" Folder into the Elements Organizer via its File Menu/Get Photos and Video/From Files and Folders. Put these resized photos in your new "Resized Photos" Album. These resized photos will be the source media for the slideshow.
BUILDING THE SLIDESHOW IN THE ELEMENTS ORGANIZER AND VIDEO EDITING/EXPORTING IN PREMIERE ELEMENTS
Open the "Resized Photos" Album, highlight all 280 of the now 1000 x 750 pixels photos, click on Create header to the right of
of the Elements Organizer interface, and then click on Slideshow to bringup the Slide Show Preferences dialog.
Stay with the default options for now in the Slide Show Preferences dialog. Click OK to move forward into the Slideshow Editor.
Create your slideshow with photos, videos, music, and embellishments. Remember, videos cannot be edited in Photoshop
            Elements Slideshow Editor.
When you are finished with the Slideshow Editor, save a copy of the Slide Show Project (called .psess file) to the Elements   Organizer and then go to Output and select the option “Edit with Premiere Elements”.
When the Elements Organizer slideshow is on the Premiere Elements Timeline, it is in a video format. If you need to do further edits, you can break apart this slideshow by right clicking the slideshow on the Timeline and selecting Break Apart Elements Organizer Slideshow.
If you want a disc menu, you place menu markers on the Timeline before moving on to Disc Menu for the creation of the menus. (There are three types of markers: main menu marker, scene marker, and stop marker. We can go into that later. For now…remember never to put a stop marker at the end of the last item on the Timeline and let us go with AutoPlay which means no menus for this first try.
Then Share/Disc/DVD disc, selecting the Presets = NTSC_Dolby DVD. In the burn dialog, make sure it says Ready and you are seeing that the program recognizes your burner and DVD disc. Hit burn. Classical comments include: for best results, keep to 90 minutes or less on a DVD disc and put a check mark next to “Fit Contents to Available Space”. Gauge your burn situation by the burn dialog quality area Space Required (less than 4.38 GB) and Bitrate = how much less than 8.00 Mbps.
Do you have Photoshop Elements 9.0 as well as Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1? Lots more scenarios for this put I thought that the above might be the easiest way to go as the Getting Started.
Please review one step at a time. If you need clarification on anything that I have written, please do not hestitate to ask.
    Thank you.

Add On...I have proof read the above several times. If you see any typos, please let me know.

  • Can't save images as jpg, jpeg, bmp, etc. only as Preview Document or All Files.

I'm running Firefox 27.0 on OSX 10.9. When I try to save an image from a website I'm only given the option to save the file as a Preview Document or All Files. I cannot save the image as it exists on the website (ie. jpg, jpeg, gif.) Right now I'm saving as a Preview Document, opening that in preview and then exporting the file as an image. I'd like to just save the file directly from a website as an image rather than a Preview Document. How do I do this?

Can't you give the file the correct file extension for that image (e.g. .jpg) when you save the file?
Try to rename (or delete) the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.
