A couple of comments:
2. Click on that little icon with the aligning arrows in the lower right corner of the timline, and you can stop it at any time.
6. GB does offer markers if you make the Podcast track visible. Also, you can use the Arrange track to name portions of your song and even copy a section like a chorus to several positions in the song. A bit glitchy.
8. GB 08 offers 24 bit recording and exporting.
10. If you don't want the default track to appear, create a template file with all the tracks you want when starting a song and put it in your dock, so you will always have your favorite layout when you start.
I don't even know what HAS changed.

When I start up the computer, the dialogue box opens and saying that the procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll. I redownload itunes, but the problem still persists. How can I fix this?

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

Do you organise your email into separate folders, or do you just let it accumulate in the Inbox?
I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.

I want to disable a new feature on Firefox 5. Or, at least, I don't recall it being a feature on Firefox 4.
When I have various tabs open, and close one of them, they go to the left, leaving a gap to the right that will be filled the time I move the mouse somewhere else.
Being graphical:
Starting from this:

I close the last two tabs, first "d", then "e", keeping the mouse over the tabs zone:

Cor-el, when we close the tabs, there's an animation where the remaining tabs grow into the vacated space. I have browser.tabs.animate switched off and would, as a result, have expected the tabs to instantaneously resize, instead of doing an animation that slows things down slightly and which I thought I'd turned off.

Your question about making Word "the default when closing AW documents" is a bit unclear.
An AppleWorks document is an AppleWorks document. If you want it in Word format, you must explicitly save a copy of it as such (and also append the .doc suffix to the proposed file name).

How to stop threads, process, streams when closing a (internal) JFrame?

Dear all,
I read a Javaworld article about Runtime.exec(), which will output the process outputs and error outputs to either a file or System.out. Now I want to practice it by outputing the process output/error to a Swing JTextArea. It works fine if the process ends successfully.
My problem is that I want to stop all the output threads and clear all the streams when user click close JFrame button before the process finished. The code is shown below. Note that this frame is poped up by a click from another main frame. ( it is not exiting the main Swing application). This happened when I want to kill a process when it is running.
I tried to implements a WindowListener and add
public void windowClosing(WindowEvent e) to the JFrame.
Inside this method I used process.destroy() and errorGobbler = null, outputGobbler = null, or outputGobbler.interrupt(), errorGobbler.interrupt(). But all these seems does not work. Sometimes thread was not stopped, sometimes process was not destroyed (because the stream was still print out something), sometimes the error stream was not successfully closed - by printing out interruptted by user error message.
How can I make sure all the underlying streams and threads, including the PrintStream in StreamGobbler class are closed?
Again this Frame could be a Dialog or InternalFrame, i.e, when I close the frame, the main frame does not exit!

Thread.interrupt() doesn't stop a thread. You'll have to read the API for more specifics. You could use something like interrupt to force interruption of the thread for the reason of checking the terminating case though. I believe you would want to use this in the case where operations can take a long time.
Setting your reference to the thread to be null won't stop the thread since it's running. You just lose your reference to it.
I believe once the thread stops running your streams will be closed, but possibly not cleanly. Someone who has more knowledge of threads might be able to answer this better, but I would generally say clean up after yourself especially if you are writting out data.

Still having a problem with Firefox going to "restart a session" even after re-installing Firefox. Keeps giving me "script error" when closing down. How do I fix this?

Firefox 21 and Firefox 22 running on Windows 7 have been reported to take a long time to "wake up" from sleep. I realize hibernation is different than sleep, but... this is the closest match for your description.
Some users have reported that this problem is resolved in Firefox 23 (currently in beta). Others have had inconsistent luck with minimizing Firefox before letting Windows sleep and other measures.

The fact that this just started recently suggests perhaps it is related to another program or update, but I don't think anyone has confirmed the exact interaction that causes the problem.

I'm not 100% sure but you could check whether af:document uncommittedDataWarning property is set to true. If so, try setting it to false.
