How do I scan more than one page into a single document? The option seems to have disapperared.

I have a Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 and am trying to scan several pages into one file, but the option to combine pages seems to have disappeared?

I meant what scanning application are you using. Sorry for not being clearer. Are you using Image Capture, for example, or an HP application? For example, if you use Image Capture then click on the Show Details button in the bottom status area:
A window will drop down:
Note the checkbox labeled Combine into single document. I think that's what you are looking for.

How can I scan more than one photo at a time on my 8610

The previous HP Scanner we had (8500) would allow you to add scan windows to the scan preview so that you could scan more than one photo or image at a time from the glass. This allowed me to scan physical photos in several at a time rather than having to load one at a time. Is there a way to do this in this newer 8610 software?

Thanks! That did work, sort of. At 600 dpi, If I put 5 photos on the scanner bed, it sometimes senses 3 correctly and senses 2 as one photo. Sometimes the other way around, it gets 2 right and senses 3 togehter. I can then change the scanning area to just have one of those photos, but then I have to rescan the one(s) that are/were left out.
So the first problem with this solution is, to use it I'm stuck at 300 dpi resolution or less which isn't great for my situation. I want to be able to enlarge some of these images up for printing.
Also, When I click on the + sign it scans the same photos again and I can then crop the ones that it continually senses as 1 photo (even when they are spread apart, but it scans all the others again to, so if it senses three photos together that shouldn't be, I have to add 2 extra pages, crop them appropriately and the delete the extra 4 scans of the photos it got right the first time.
VERY CUMBERSOME. The previous program for the 8500 let you just add a scan area window so that you could scan the bits out you wanted. Much better. Why do they mess with what works? Bummer.

How to go back more than one page at a time?

I'm pretty sure there used to be a drop-down arrow by the back/fwd buttons, so you could go back more than one page by selecting it. Yeah? Where did it go?

You can either right-click on the back/forward buttons or hold down the left mouse button until the list appears.

I have just bought my HP Deskjet 2645 4 in one and need to have instuctions on how to do the below please.
1. I need to fax more than 1 page at a time.
2. I need to have confirmation of how many pages were faxed and how many pages were received.
3. What must I do to get the ADF to send multiple pages at a one time and then the next time
only to fax one page, should I rather use the scanner glass for one fax?
4. I put 3 pages into the Adf, printing side up and only 1 page faxed.

1- may be you need to manage scan profile in system
Click start and type into search area WFS. u need to select fax button at left bottom sidein WFS windows and select to tools then scan setting
u have to select your device in new window and select edip profile and selec source ADF Feeder
2- Firstly you need to enter fax setup and then select to advantage fax setup. use to down arrow button and select fax confirmation u need to select which one u need in this menu.

How to scan more than one page with Acrobat 9, Windows 7?

I have Acrobat 9 Standard, with Windows 7, and am trying to scan from an HP LaserJet 3015. Prior to having Windows 7, there were no problems. Yes. The drivers for the printer, and Acrobat have been updated. I even double checked today. Still no luck. I tried in memory mode, native mode, with pre-configured settings and with custom scan. Scans one page really good, but no more unless I add them on which is VERY time consuming.

How can I print more than one page of an internet site?

When I try to print pages from internet sites (Facebook, Merchant Circle, Linked In, NBC.com, etc.), Firefox will only print the first page.
In order to print more information, it is necessary to reduce the scale of the print so more of the information will print on the first page.
How can I print out more than just one page of a website without having to make the print so small that I cannot read it when it prints?

Firefox has problems with some style rules.
First, it's always helpful to use any print-formatted or print-optimized version of the page. Sometimes there is a link for this.
Second, in some cases you need to use this trick: press Ctrl+a to select all content on the page, then Ctrl+p to display the print dialog, and click the radio button next to Selection.
Those tricks don't always work, but hopefully they will help.

Office jet 8600 won't scan more than one page

My Office jet 8600 will only scan one page at a time. It doesn't matter if I use the document feeder or put the document on the glass. When the scanner asks if I have another page I select yes and then I receive a message telling me the scanner is already in use and can't scan another page. I have talked to HP tech support twice and downloaded new drivers. The scanner worked perfectly until the last few days when it started having this problem. HP tech support was not able to help.

I am really not certain what would cause the message stating that the printer is in use when you try to scan a second page, but running the Print and Scan Doctor might help. The HP Print and Scan Doctor is a free utility (tool) that helps to quickly resolve common printing, scanning and connectivity issues including but not limited to:
Connectivity:
USB: Verifies that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product is working correctly.
Network: Verifies that the network connection between your computer and your network is working correctly.
Device Status Test: Checks for device errors such as out of paper, paper jams, carriage stalls, and paper feed issues, and then provides instructions for fixing the error.
Driver Check: Checks for missing or corrupt driver files.
Device Manager: Checks for problems in Device Manager that would prevent printing.
Device Online: Checks if the product has been paused or set to offline, and then sets the status back to online if necessary.
Print Queue: Checks for and clears pending print jobs in the print queue (a log of print jobs waiting to print).
Port Match: Checks the port settings for the HP product.
Device Conflicts: Checks for conflicts with other drivers, such as other printer brands.
Ink Issues: Checks the cartridges and ink levels for issues that affect print quality.
Print Settings: Checks and adjusts the print quality settings.
Test Print: Prints a test page for print quality evaluation, and provides options for cleaning and aligning the printhead if necessary.
Scan Tests: Checks the scan mechanism, drivers, and registry entries.

If this does not resolve the issue, post back and let me know if there are any symbols other than green check marks and what they are next to of course. The wrench is not always easy to spot as the wrench and the check mart are in the green circle.
If you see only green check marks (), the tool did not find any problems.
If you see green wrenches (), the utility identified an issue and corrected it automatically.
If you see yellow exclamation points (), the test failed and required user action, but the step was skipped.
If you see a red X (), follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.

More than one deliveries into a single handling unit

Hello,
We are a retail apparel company and use SAP to communicate delivery requirements for our stores. We would like the ability to consolidate our deliveries into a single handling unit. This will help reduce freight and will simplify our receiving process in our retail stores.
For example, many customers pre-order merchandise that will be received into our distribution center and then shipped to a Retail store for customer pickup. We would like to consolidate mutliple orders going to the same place so that they can be packed into a single box. Each customer request results in an order being created and the box that the order is packed in is the SAP handling unit. The issue we have is that if 10 customers request the same merchandise, it is easier to pack the 7 units into a single handling unit (i.e. box) than to pack 7 boxes.
I do realise that the handling unit table VEKP can hold only 1 delivery object (i.e. VPOBJKEY), however I'm hoping that someone can highlight possible options for us to simplify our shipping process.

You may use WAVE concept in WM in order to accomplish the requirement.
A wave is group of deliveries that can be combined into one order based upon the customer number.
For example: If you have 10 different orders from customer XYZ and you may consolidate the all sales orders in one single order and then create a WAVE for that.

I got a form where , there are 8 pages all in different subforms having one topmost subform . I need to place 2 radio buttons in the page 8 where if the user clicks the yes button -1 page 7,8 will be repeated and if the user clicks the radio button -2 page 6,7,8 will be repeated . How can i do it ?? I am working on a dead line and need help immediately.

You will need an if statement that will check the value of the radiobuttons. Then once you decide which one you have you can use the PageName.instanceManager.addInstance(1) to add an instance of this subform. Note that the root container must be a flowed subform and the form must be saved as a dynamic form.
