How do I scroll in newsstand app to see all my magazines?

I can only see my latest downloaded 16 magazines in my newsstand app. Left, right, top and bottom scrolling doesn't move anything. How do I scroll to look at my older downloaded magazines?

Why did ISO 7.1.1 change the feature where you could use four fingers to close an app and see if he other apps on your home screen as you were closing an app. This was the handiest feature I thought because I could partially close the app I was working in and see the date or other things on my home screen and then released the four finger position and be right back to the app I'm working in. How do I find out which app is transferring all the data?

My daughter is approaching her data limit and I'd like to find out which app(s) are responsible for the bulk of her data transfers. If I go to Settings -> General -> Usage, I see a list of apps. The right column is labeled "App Data", but the User's Guide says that this column shows "(e)ach installed app’s total storage space". I can't find any indication of how much data each app is transferring. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance for any information you can give me.

the problem could be something loaded in the Login Items list in System Preferences > Accounts but I have gotten rid of all those.
A question, did you just uncheck them or highlight them & click the little minus icon? Do they still show in the list? I'm not sure, but I don't think it takes effect until you restart.
Should anyone else come across this - the message is typical of not having the proper version of Pro Tools installed for the OS version being used.
In this case, the minimum Pro Tools version supported on OS 10.4.10 is 6.9.2 (or 6.8.1 with certain Digi hardware devices).

If you have more apps that will fit on 11 screens, the ones that aren't showing can only be accessed by search. Connect your iPhone to iTunes and rearrange your apps. You'll be able to see them all that way.

How can I fix the Mac App Store "Update All" button?

When I have multiple updates, the "Update All" button appears, but doesn't work. It's not greyed-out; if I click on it, it gets dark while I hold the mouse button down. But nothing happens. No error message; it just doesn't work.
I can manually update my apps one at a time; the "Update" buttons next to individual apps work.
I'm running 10.8.5 on a MacBook Pro.
I've tried restarting, and repairing permissions, neither of which helped.

You need to update to Snow Leopard 10.6.6 to get the App store. If you're on an earlier version of Snow Leopard, just hit
 > Software Update
If you're on 10.5 Leopard, you'll need to contact Apple and purchase a Snow Leopard disk or a Lion USB Flash drive.

In ios 6 I could choose an artist on the music app and see all his albums in a list. Now, with ios 7, it shows all the songs from every album, making it EXTREMELY hard to see all the albums. Is there a way to minimize this view and see only the albums?

Now, in ios 7, when I choose an artist, it shows me every song underneath every album, making it impossible to see al the albums at once! Is there anyway to minimize this view so I could see only the albums' titles as a list?

This is all about the experience and accessibility. I don't even mind if the new desing is beautiful or not, but if I find myself, like you, avoiding looking for my music, my experience becomes frustrating. I have about 35 albums of a single artist and I used to love going over them and choose the right thing for me, especially being on the road a lot, and now I have to think twice about even entering his name.
I really hope Apple will take those kind of things into consideration when they issue updates for ios 7, and maybe also give us back the goole search which was embeded into the spotlight search (which is really not that big of a request).

What information are you needing to take off and sync to the iPhone?

You can delete it from any device that it is on by pressing and holding it on the device's homescreen for a second or two until they shake and then tapping the 'x' on its top left corner, and you can delete it from your computer's iTunes library by selecting it and pressing the delete button on your keyboard. If the account owner, log into My Verizon. Once logged in, choose View Bill.
Once there, there is an option to view your detailed invoice. Choose that and you will see a break out of every charge. You can also use a pull down menu to see other detailed invoices also.

In 3 months no answer has been posted? I can't believe only 2 people have bothered to notice this. In most magazines you can just pinch to zoom until you get a comfortable text size, but a few are like the iBooks. You can't zoom in them, but there doesn't seem to be any way to change the font size either! The articles just fill the page as is, and at 132 ppi... it gets a little hard on the eyes.
Really, no one else has been bothered by this? I noticed it just now after having downloaded Computer Power User (CPU), and I'm still a bit in disbelief at the fact. No font settings!

I have a free Newsstand application for iPad and iPhone called Flipshion, but one of my users says it is not working for her. I currently have 1 free magazine inside of the app, and my user says when she opens the app she cannot see the magazine. I checked on my devices it works perfect. Can someone download Flipshion on their iPad and let me know if it works? PLEASE THIS WOULD HELP ME SO MUCH!

If you are referring to apps such as Farmville, Mafia Wars etc you will need to block each application, managed in your Privacy settings.
Log into your Facebook on a computer, go to each application fan page. On the fan page, scroll down and on the left hand side you will see Block Application. Once you block the app ensure it shows up under your Privacy settings in Blocked People and Apps.
Once you have blocked these apps, on your device go into Facebook>Menu>Options and clear the chache. Once done reboot by pulling the battery and check your Facebook news feed once the reboot has completed.

How do I add/remove print apps on my printer?

The way you add apps to your printer varies depending on the model.
I. On the following printers, use the "Get More" icon on the device to add additional print apps directly on the device: When you select the "Get More" icon on your printer front panel display, you will see a list of available apps for your pinter, and you can select and add apps to your printer from there:
HP Photosmart c309n-s
HP Photosmart Premium C310 series
HP Photosmart eAll-in-One Printer D410 series
To remove apps on these printers, select the "Get More" icon, and then select the "Manage Apps" button (at the top-left of the Touchsmart Web Apps" screen that appears). That will open the "Manage My Favorites" screen where you can remove apps by selecting the "X" on the app icons.
Any configuration required for print apps (e.g., entering Zip Code) on these devices will be prompted for when you run the print app.
II. On the HP eStation (with the removable tablet display).
Add apps: Select the tab (with the upwards arrow on it) at the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer. Then select the Add Apps option at the bottom of the screen to view available print apps.
Delete apps: Select the tab (with the upwards arrow on it) at the bottom of the screen to open the app drawer. Scroll down to display the Print Apps section. Select the Delete option and then select the app you wish to delete.
III. On other web-connected printers, if you select the "Get More" icon it will provide you the web site address for HP ePrintCenter - www.hpeprintcenter.com. You go there to add new apps, view apps on your printer, and setup/remove apps from your printer.
For those devices, to add more print apps:

Select the "Get More Print Apps" link in the Print Apps section (below the ePrint section).
Select the icon of the print app you want to install, and then on the print app detail page select the "Add to Printer" button. If the print app requires setup, after adding it you will see a "Setup" button which you should select to configure the print app so it is ready to use.
To remove apps on these printers, select the "My Apps" link to display the apps installed on your device. Hold your mouse over the print app you would like to remove and a red X will appear, select the red X to remove the app.
As soon as you add or remove the print app from the HP ePrintCenter it will be removed/added on your printer...select the "Apps" icon to see all currently installed apps on your printer.
Note: Not all print apps are supported on all printers, and apps may be limited to cetain countries or languages. If you don't see a print app you are looking for when you access the "Get More Print Apps" link, that app is not currently available for your printer. We are regularly working on creating new apps and extend the printers on which existing apps are available, and you will see a star notification icons on the Get More icon on your printer when new apps are available.

Settings/Control Center. There are two options which are pretty self-explanitory...one enables/disables access on the Lock Screen and one enables/disables access within apps/games.

How do I know if an app uses password encryption?

With all the apps in the App Store, how do I know what kind of security they use? Will it be in the T's and C's before accepting the app? I do try to read those, but I've missed this. Here's the reason for my question.
A few months ago I downloaded an App called ATT Call International which offered a lower rate for international calls. I used it a few times, it bills to a credit card. This morning I tried to use it and I didn't remember my password. I was emailed a new password which I copied and pasted into the browser but it still wouldn't let me in. I called the support number for the ATT app and the agent asked me what I wanted my new password to be. That was odd, but I made up a temp password to work with her and we got me signed on. I immediately went in to change my password but the app wouldn't let me.
I called back, got the same woman who told me that even if I do change my password, it's not encrypted so she can see it.
Really? And this is an ATT app? She tells me that this is an ATT app but it's supported by a third party.
So, I asked her to delete my account but I'm feeling VERY EXPOSED to think that in some database somewhere they have my credit card information and with an unencrypted password on my account. There is no delete option for me to delete it myself.

To see what apps are "running" in the background, double click the HOME button (it's the round one at the bottom of the phone's front... not being sarcastic here, had to look at the manual myself just to be sure!). To me it's the coolest looking if done from one of the icon (desktop?) pages, as the dock will slide up and get grayed out, but i've done it from within open apps, it works but not nearly as neat looking to me! Anyhow, if you have a bunch open, you'll have to scroll them sideways to see all of them, plus there are ipod controls and a screen lock all the way to the left. To actually close out an app, press and hold one of them until they start shaking, like when you want to delete an app from your phone, the difference is there will be a "-" instead of an "x" on the icon and when you touch the icon it will disappear and stop "running".
I put "running" in quotes, because from what i've read, some of the apps aren't really running, iOS4 has actually saved it's place in the app that you left off, but i'm pretty sure the gps type apps ARE working, using up precious memory and battery life.
