How do I scroll when zoomed out in Keynote?

I am trying to create an animated presentation in Keynote.  I would like an image to appear from off-screen and move across the screen then off the other side.  However, when I zoom out in Keynote the slide stays in the top left corner and I can't see any scroll bars, no matter how far I zoom out.  So I can't re-position the slide so that it's in the centre of the screen with blank space around it - blank space that I will need to put my image in so that I can animate it.
I'd be really grateful for help as I've tried searching for the answer and I'm stumped.

Put the image in the centre of the slide and zoom to 25%. Select the image and go to the Build Inspector panel. Choose Action then Move. There will be red diamond shapes indicating where the movement will start and end. Drag one off the right hand side and the other off the left hand side. While you won't be able to see where the one at the left ends up, you can tell when it is far enough off.
Be aware that once the point is off screen on the left you can't change it (at least I can't see how to do it) so try to get it in the right position first time. If you need to try again you will have to delete the action and start again.
Hope that helps!

  • Registry Setting To Enable Overscrolling When Zoomed Out?

    The other day someone posted a registry tweak to allow overscrolling on a PC when zoomed out to where the entire image fits on the screen, and I made a mental note to get back and try it, but now I can't find the post from which to get the specific setting.
    Anyone remember enough of the post to be able to find it?  Or do you know the registry value?

    Never mind, I found the post:  http://forums.adobe.com/message/4911152

  • How Image size changes when zoomed ?

    Hi,
    I am using the following method code to zoom-in and zoom-out my images.
        public void zoom(double zoomFac) {
            this.zoomFac = zoomFac;
            atx.setToScale(zoomFac, zoomFac); // global attribute AffineTrasform
            ParameterBlock pb = new ParameterBlock();
            pb.addSource(getDefaultOrjImage());
            pb.add(atx);
            pb.add(Interpolation.getInstance(Interpolation.INTERP_BICUBIC_2));
            rImage = JAI.create("affine", pb);
            repaint();
            this.setPreferredSize(new Dimension(rImage.getWidth(), rImage.getHeight()));
            updateUI();
        }One can notice that I am using Bicubic interpolation for the purpose.
    I want to predict the size of Image for a given zoom factor. How can I do this?
    I've seen the algorithm of Bicubic Interpolation, but coulndt figure out how I can use its details to predict the size change of the image.
    clearly speaking if my image's
    width = 512, height = 512,
    What will be the width and height when the image is zoomed with zoomFac = 1.2
    Thank u for ur time.
    Regards,
    Rajesh Rapaka.

    The penny will drop soon or maybe the cloud will lift.
    In Lightroom all editing is undoable/nondestructive.
    Hence a crop of 3x2 is not inches, centimetres, pixels or anything else. It is jst a ratio. When a file is exported, either to PS or disk, then the crop ratio has size determined in respect of pixels and inches or cms.
    So my 6000x5000 pixel image I will crop to 3x2 that leaves (before exporting) a 6000x4000 file.
    Now when exported it can be set to export at
    100pixels per inch and will end up at 60x40" when printed.
    200pixels per inch will end up at 30x20"
    300ppi will end at 20x13.3"
    You will notice in the Crop Tool there are no size denominations such as inches or centimetres as an image file only has pixels and the determination of size is done through exporting or printing.
    Hope that helps somewhat..

  • Photoshop CC distorted image when zoomed out. Text, edges and Straight lines.

    I get this distorted image when working on a file. When I zoom in its fine. But as soon as I zoom out all the lines, text , and edges start to become distorted. I've checked that all my drivers are up to date. I've re installed photoshop and still the same thing. Any Suggestions. ( files look fine when saved or exported, this just happens while Im working )

    That looks like a Moiré pattern.  Did you scan the image?
    If not, can you tell us what operating system?
    And is your video card driver fully up to date from the maker's website?

  • Bug? Zooming out via key shortcut won't stop when zooming out (Mac OS 10.7.3)

    Hey,
    while I created a new document, I started to zoom in/out particular areas of the images using the key shortkuts <space>+<cmd> for zooming in and <space>+<cmd>+<alt> for zooming out of an area.
    While this works fine in my Photoshop CS5, it troubbles in CS6:
    Once I want to zoom out (via <space>+<cmd>+<alt> and a left-mouseclick), the zooming won't stop until it reached the smallest zoom level, instead of zooming out just a step. It however works, while I zoom in (via <space>+<cmd> and a left-mouseclick).
    I'm so used to this shortcut since a cupple of versions now (it also works in other programms as well) and it is realy annoying.
    It also happens that when I press <space> and another key (e.g. to zoom in/out) that Photoshop CS6 does sometimes not release the hand-tool, that I use to move the canvas via holing <space> and left-mouse down. Pressing <space> again solve this. However, I would exspect the hand-/move-tool only to work while <space> is pressed.
    Thanks.

    Hey,
    > Do you run into the issue in Photoshop it the case when you use <CMD>+< - > ?
    No, works fine. Although its not the best alternative, because my method allows to "specify" the zooming region (due to the mouse position)
    > Did you try to reset the zoom tool (Right-click on the magnifier icon on the option bar?)
    I did do a reset, but it didn't influence the "bad" behavior.
    > Do you have a key repeater function activated in the OS (accessibility?)?
    None that I know of. Couldn't find any. But if so, shouldn't it affect the zooming in as well (which isn't the case)?
    > If you never use the animated zoom, you can disable it in Photoshop>preferences>general>animated zoom.
    I tried both: enabled it causes the mentioned "error" behavior. Disabled the zoom out stops but its remarkably unresponsive: Once I use the key combination and click the left-mouse-btn it takes seconds before the zoom out happes; the process _feels_ quite long.
    Best,

  • Can't pan (hand tool) when zoomed out

    Hi,
    1. make a document
    2. zoom out so you can see the boundary of the canvas
    3. try to pan using the "hand tool" -> cant pan, canvas stays in middle
    4.  - zoom in just enough so the boundary of the canvas exceeds your viewport -> can pan now (but when you zoom out abit after panning to the side, it pops back to middle again)
          - OR rotate the zoomed out canvas just so one of the corners exceeds your viewport -> can pan also (but when you reset rotation after some panning, it pops back to middle again)
    Lets say i want to draw in the lower right corner of my canvas at a zoom which doesnt make the canvas exceed my viewport but at the same time i want to pan so i have that lower right part of the image near the middle of my screen (so its not lost under my layers window and also so i dont have to draw near the edge of my tablet) but i cant because canvas doesnt exceed my viewport vision.
    To get around this so far ive been either rotating the canvas abit and drawing like that so i could pan or i flip the image or move my palettes to the other side for better access but its a mess so i usually resort to having a duplicate viewport for the same image on other monitor which i keep zoomed out to have a view of the whole composition and then paint sort of "blindly" in the first viewport with close zoom which lets me pan and paint somewhat near the middle of screen and watch the result in the second viewport. I was also thinking about making bigger canvas and drawing on a smaller part of it in the middle, but im already working at like 10k res and that would slow things down even more i guess.)
    Am i just missing something? Or is there any better workarounds?

    You could work in the fullscreen mode (press the F key) which allows panning of the document regardless of size.

  • Set scale values when zoom out

    Hi!
    I have a XY Graph and I want it to have three different scale ranges depending on a case structure. So, for example, if it's case 1, I have the xy graph X.minimum = 1,234 and xy graph X.maximum = 10,789 and so on.
    I want to be able to zoom the graph but then when I zoom out to see all the points, I want it to have the same range I defined. I have the autoscale turned off and when I do the zoom out, it shows me different minumum and maximum values....
    Any help?

    Hello Zephirus,
    When you ask a zoom out, write the scale value that you define, using a property node. To get it, right click on the XY graphe terminal, in the diagram, then select Create >> Property node >> X (or Y) Scale >> Range then All elements, or just the elements you need to coerce.
    Let me know you progression,

  • White outline on PNGs but only when zoomed out

    Here is my site: http://smartpeopletalkfast.co.uk/pp/
    The 'Shop by Category' menu on the left is made of images and uses  PNGs. The PNGs look fine at normal zoom but when I zoom out in FF and  also on my Ipad white lines appear where the transparency begins.
    I know PNGs can cause lots of headaches cross browser but this seems  like a different issue. I havn't tested with other browsers.
    Thanks

    Im not seing it on my PC with any browsers but it does happen on a Mac with Firexox 4, 3.6 and 3.5

  • Fringe does not go away when zooming out

    Hello,
    I am using the following set up" Adobe lightroom v2.6, processing raw files from a pentax k10D
    I have an image with a noticeable fringe green-yellow fringe between a red rock and a grey-blue sky.
    To fix the fringe, I zoomed in to 1:1, and applied a chromatic abberation correction of blue/yellow +60.  This seemed to fix the problem when zoomed in at 1:1
    However, when I pull back out to view the whole image fitted to the display screen (a 22" MAC screen), the fringe is again visible.  When I zoom in again, the fringe is momentarily visible at the magnified scale, and then disapears; it is as though the correction were being applied only when zooming is in effect.
    I am concnered that when I try to print the image, the fringing will appear.
    Can anyone recommend solutions to this issue?
    With thanks,

    This is normal. In the Develop module, Lightroom does not apply any of the pixel level edits (sharpening, noise reduction, CA correction) to the zoomed out view. It does this to not make you wait for 10 seconds every time you touch a slider to wait for the entire image to render, but it only quickly renders a low-resolution image. Since a computer screen is very low resolution this makes sense as it is very difficult (actually impossible) except in really extreme cases to accurately preview the effects of these sliders at such low resolution. If you switch back to Library, you will see that Lightroom will render a new jpeg preview where it will employ the corrections and there you should not see the fringe anymore even zoomed out, So don't worry, the print will not have the fringe as for printing (excet draft mode) it always renders the image completely from the RAW file taking all your settings into account.

  • How to download apps when locked out mad already.

    Why cant I add app when locked out after I reset paw nod sec ques

    surfguinea wrote:
    Oh wow, thanks! .
    I didn't know that the "download" just-do-it-button was actually the greyed out oval that reads "free". For some reason, I thought Apple would choose a more intuitive identifier, like "click here" or "download" or "install" or else a blue, green, or raised button! Thanks for the assistance and clarification!
    I disagree though that core web applications like flash or gmail sucking is entirely other people than Apple's fault.
    Don't start in on Flash pleeeeeease!! There are already a gazillion threads on it here.
    I don't get the problem with Gmail - are you using it via Safari or via Mail?

  • My iPhone has "zoomed in" - how do i make it "zoom out" again?

    help please?

    In iTunes
    Connect iPhone or iPod touch to your computer.
    In iTunes, select your device.
    In the Summary pane, click Configure Universal Access in the Options section.
    Select the accessibility features that you want to use and click OK. (Select neither to turn off Zoom)
    On your phone:
    If Zoom is on and you want to zoom out or in, double-tap using three fingers.
    Hope this helps!

  • How to fire valueChangeEvent when tabs out for inputComboboxListOfValues

    Hi,
    Env: JDev 11.1.1.4 and ADF.
    In my page it has one inputComboboxListOfValues field, it can be entered into a new value or select one from LOV, now I met one issue that when enter into a new value and tabs out, it will open search popup window, but if I close popup window(ok or close button), it will return and lose focus and it can't fire valueChangeEvent, but in valueChangeListener() I need to enable/disable other fields. (autoSubmit="true")
    <af:inputComboboxListOfValues id="ToPlanId"

            visible="false" partialTriggers="FromPlanType FromPlanName">
    </af:inputComboboxListOfValues>I searched all forums and docs and can't find any guide for that, so my question is:
    1) if ADF supports that use "Tab" key can fire valueChangeEvent? if so, what's wrong with my code?
    2) if not support, how can I fix this issue?

  • Slow screen redraw when I click playhead and zoom out in Logic 9 upgrade

    The arrange mode is slow to redraw when I click the playhead in the ruler area and drag up (zoom out). The slider thingy at the bottom of the screen works totally fast like normal. I just upgraded to Logic 9 (v 9.1.1). Might this be a known problem or is it coincidental? Any tips?
    Also, it seems to be hang only when zooming out to the bird's eye view. Zooming in seems to be fast as ever.
    Thanks!

    Calendar, Safari, address book, pages, numbers and sometimes, ProTools
    Depending on what those programs are doing (e.g., how many windows they have open), they could be consuming a lot of resources. Activity Monitor is a good way to get a handle on this.
    I don't think the problem has anything to do with your Magic Mouse.
    As a test, I would try a new user account. Create a new OS X user account (in System Preferences/Accounts). Login as that user (via Apple Menu > Log Out). Same problem?
    which keybaord commands do you use?
    Mostly these:
    ⌃⌥← Zoom Horizontal Out
    ⌃⌥→ Zoom Horizontal In
    ⌃⌥↑ Zoom Vertical Out
    ⌃⌥↓ Zoom Vertical In
    Z Toggle Zoom to fit Selection or All Contents
    I like how Pro Tools has R & T
    I think that's basically the equivalent of the two Zoom Horizontal commands.
    I thought Logic only has the zoom shortcut via cmd something or other and clicking.
    That's also useful. Hold down ⌃⌥ and drag over an area of interest. When you release the mouse, you zoom in. To zoom back out, do ⌃⌥-click in the background area.

    sice i have FULL HD screen i have to use page zoom. But check the above page, the photo popups as well are applied zoom. Very annoying and when zoomed out popup, the website as well zooms out.
    Firefox stores the page zoom per domain, fine but how about photo pop ups?
    zooming in a 5 MP, 10 MP camera output??

    Firefox should try to fix a fault with the webpage?
    Have you tried loading those images with Internet Explorer? Or Opera?
    For me, IE 8 shows '''"Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"''' - the image loads very large, like with Firefox 21, but the rest of the PHP page doesn't completely load and that error / warning message appears.
    Opera 12 shows the large image with this message. <br /> '''"Could not connect to remote server''' <br />
    Check that the address is spelled correctly, or try searching for the site.<br />http://www.gsmarena.com/ads-blog-728.php3 "
    Sorry - IMHO, Firefox is loading that image (PHP page) as instructed, the fault doesn't appear to me to be a fault with Firefox.
    Why not wait a few hours for some more opinions about this issue. There are a couple of other support helper's on this forum who have vastly more experience with this "web stuff" than I have.
    One "dirty" fix for that which I can share is to use a bookmarklet to make the image smaller on the screen, once the "page" is fully loaded. Simply click the bookmarklet to "halve" the image.<br />
    https://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/pagedata.html <br />
    '''zoom images out''' = which will "halve" the image
    That will help you get around changing the zoom factor for the whole domain every time you view an image on that website.
    And if that "half-size" isn't small enough you can edit the "Location" line of that bookmarklet to a "decimal fraction" that is usable for your display.
    This is the full javascript code for that bookmarklet.
    <pre><nowiki>javascript:(function(){%20function%20zoomImage(image,%20amt)%20{%20if(image.initialHeight%20==%20null)%20{%20/*%20avoid%20accumulating%20integer-rounding%20error%20*/%20image.initialHeight=image.height;%20image.initialWidth=image.width;%20image.scalingFactor=1;%20}%20image.scalingFactor*=amt;%20image.width=image.scalingFactor*image.initialWidth;%20image.height=image.scalingFactor*image.initialHeight;%20}%20var%20i,L=document.images.length;%20for%20(i=0;i<L;++i)%20zoomImage(document.images[i],.5);%20if%20(!L)%20alert("This%20page%20contains%20no%20images.");%20})();</nowiki></pre>
    This part of that string, near the end - '''.5''' - is what halves that image. <br />
    %20zoomImage(document.images[i],'''''.5''''');%20if%20( <br />
    Edit that '''.5''' to .3 or .25 and see if that makes the image small enough to fit your screen.
    Here's a little background on '''bookmarklets'''. <br />
