How do I see list of authorized computers on my account

You cannot. Apple does not provide that information.
Authorization and Deauthorization
Macs:  iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization.
Windows: How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
  1. Open iTunes on a computer
  2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
  5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

  • How do i find list of authorized computers

How do I find list of computers authorized on account?

Soooo..... I only have one laptop computer (running Windows 7).  I was synching my iPad, and all of a sudden I was told that my laptop was not authorized (strange, because I have used it to synch with my iPad before).  I authorized it, and was told it was now the second computer authorized.  WRONG, it's the only computer ever authorized.
THAT's why I want a list of authorized computers.  I suspect that I'll see the same one listed twice.  And if Apple is going to randomly de-authorize my computer, and then increment the number of computers authorized every time I overcome this fault, then that's a problem!  It's gotta be some kind of fraud if it can't be fixed.  They license the softwarse (and sell the hardware) saying I can authorize 5, but I can now only authorize 4 for the rest of the year (or is it 8?), because I can only deauthorize and re-authorize once a year.
On the other hand, if someone sneaked in my house, symched with my iPad and broke into my account and authorized ANOTHER computer, I want to know that too, so I can de-authorize them, and call the police.
It's not like there isn't an electronic record somewhere, because how else is iTunes supposed to keep track of the computers authorized?

how can i see the "manage devices" in my itunes account? because i want to remove a device from using my apple id. tnx so much

Thanks pvonk, I will try downloanding the book from the Iphone right now.......
Just tried to download and it wants me to buy it again?  Is there some way around this?  I guess I thought that was the whole point of the cloud, buy it once and access from any of your devices right?
Also, I have logged into the icloud.com as suggested and will plink around there for a bit and try to understand.  It is just all so dang different that what I am used to; Apple's way, that is.
Thanks again for the Icloud tip and if you know of a way to download without making a 2nd purchase I would sure love to hear it!
Geez. one other thing (I guess I am complaining) but I bought more space in the cloud, they took my cash fast enough but have not yet increase the size of my storage space yet?  Is Apple sometimes slow to get internal stuff done?

  • How can I reset the number authorized Macs in my account?

How can I reset the number authorized Macs in my account? Two old Macs that I no longer have are still authorized, which leaves me with three working macs at home.

    Hello Joe
You will find your answer on this page. In summary you have to deauthorize each of the 2 Macs on the Mac thenself. If it's no longer possible, then you have to deauthorize all five Macs and then reauthorize each 3 remaining

How can I authorize more than 5 computers on my account?
We have 4 iPhones, 1 iPad, 1 desktop Mac, and 3 MacBook laptops.

You can't but don't need to. The iPhones and iPad don't count as computers.

Where can I find a list of what computers are authorized?

No such list, I'm afraid. If you are at your limit and have machines you no longer need be authorized but have no control over, then see the following:

  • How can I find a list of authorized computers?

I'd like to see which computers are listed as authorized. That way I can see which ones should be deauthorized.

Why do you think that Apple won't show you the list of computers?  I suppose that it's for my own good.  I retired an old computer and bought a new one and can't authorize it.  I'd like to see the list of 5 computers and deauthorize just the one that was retired - without disrupting service for the other computers.
    This is very user-unfriendly.

  • HT1420 Can I see a list of authorized computers?

I have five authorized computers. I understand I can deauthorize all of them and then reauthorize them one at a time, but can I see a list of what is currently authorized?

It's not currently possible to see a list of them (and if you've reinstalled or updated the OS on a computer without first deauthorising it then it's possible that one computer may be using multiple authorisations)

  • HT1420 I have used up the amout of authorized computers for one account, however two of them have crashed. How can I deauthorize those two without having to deauthorize the other three?

I have completed my list of 5 computers authorized. I am trying to authorize another one but I need to get rid of two authorized computers which hard disks have crashed. How can I deauthorize those two without affecting the other three?

Individual computers can only be deauthorised directly on them, but if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can log into your account and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

  • HT1349 help  I would like to authorize my new laptop for my itunes library  I had 5 authorized computers on my account not sure which ones they were one of the autorized computers has crashed so i want to transfer all of my account history onto my compute

my acct. shows that I have 5 authorized computers for my itunes acct.  not sure which 5 but I do know it is not my new laptop.  our main home computer that I use for managing and adding to my music library may have crashed .  so  I deauthorized all 5 computers (that was my only choice).  I was then hoping to authorize just one computer (my new lap top),  I was then hoping that my entire music library would then show up via my itunes/apple account   where is it ?
How can I transfer my entire itunes acct. history onto my new lap top?  any suggestions?    or how can I recover my music library off of a potentially crashed computer?

You can deauthorise all 5 at once, then reauthorize the one you want.

You need to log into iTunes on the computer you want to deauthorise. Otherwise, contact contact iTunes Store support to see if they can help.

  • I have a new computer and I can't access my Itunes account.  The message says that I am allowed to have only 5 authorized computers on this account.  I do not have 5 authorized computers on my account.  What can I do?

I have a new computer and I can't access my Itunes account.  The message says I can't have more than 5 computers on this account and I don't.  What can I do?

First of all you should really post this in Itunes forums cause you might get more hits on it.. Anyway.. You can only authorize up to 5 comps on one itunes account.. This does not include iOS devices. Those you can have 10.
So to fix this issue, open itunes, hit store on the left side, click log in (or your e-mail address if you are already logged in) in the top right hard corner of the page. One you log into your account you will see a a little area where it says you authorized 5 out of 5 comps. Below it should be a button to clear all those out.  Itunes will de-authorize all computers on the account then you need to go back Store tab in the menu bar and select authorize this computer.
Remember it will deauthorize all your computers, so you need to re-authorize any other computers you have.

  • How can I share music between two computers and two accounts?

My wife and I each have our own devices. I would like to purchase an album and have it on both accounts so we do not have to buy the same album twice just because we both like it. I have seen many articles on how to achieve this on a single computer but nothing that talks about multiple computers and multiple accounts.
    TIA

By account I take it you mean computer account, not iTunes Store account.  You can't currently share items between multiple store accounts though you can share it between computer accounts.  Also read about changes in forthcoming iOS8.
