I got my iPad yesterday. I've never used Apple h/w before.
I can't see any calendar in iTunes.
How do I see my iPad Calendar and notes etc. on my PC? I currently use a Palm which syncs with my PC using Palm's desktop software. I don't use Outlook. I might switch to Thunderbird's calendar etc. if it will sync with iPad.

This is on the computer synced to the iPhone with only two months of past events. (To be clear, that MacBook Calendar has all past events on it going back about 10 years. Isn't there a program called Kies for doing that. iTunes doesn't interface with non-Apple devices so you'll have to find a way outside of iTunes to do it.

I don't know how you could test the app before you but it unless there is a demo version of it and I don't see one listed. I use on of Eurosmatrz other apps ... Save2 PDF and I know they have pretty good support. I emailed them about a couple of things before I bought the app and they got back to me straight away.

I guess there are a few ways to do this. I make my iMac the "home" for calendar and contact info. I make sure it is current and accurate. I sync my iPhone and my iPad2 to it frequently. If I enter new calendar data on the iPhone or iPad when I get home I sync them to the iMac to be sure it is current.
We use BusyCal at home so all our Mac's are automatically synced to one another and we sync our mobile devices to the computers. So I sync my iPhone and iPad to the iMac and all of them have the same information.
We do not use Mobile Me or another other web based service for calendar syncing since we feel that give us less control and more complexity.

I am new with Mac G5 and I want to sync my ipad calendar to my icalendar, I tried through itune but no luck, I don't get it, it works with my ipod 2nd generation. That iPod is older and has less stringent system requirements than an iPad. They worked with older Macs and lower levels OS versions. You need a minimum of OS 10.5.8 to work a 2011/12 vintage iDevice. And, as you've discovered, iCloud requires OS 10.7
If you include your approximate geographic location in your profile, perhaps someone can offers suggestions for a vendor close to you. Apple no longer sells OS10.5 so you'll have to hit the murky third-party market for find it.

I was restoring my ipad then I accidently closed the itunes by Task Manager and now I can't see my ipad in itunes or any similar program but when I plug my ipad to the PC I can hear the alert means it's plugged , and I can see it in Device Manager , and I can't put it in DFU mode or anything else because I have no screen or home&power button.

Thank you for your reply Domingo. Your suggestion worked as far as sending me a link to buy the book at iTunes. But it did not allow me to download the book from my wife's account. I did finally get an answer from Apple. It took an entire day of emailing back and forth and the final answer was relatively easy once Apple finally decided to give up the solution. Basically, you have to open ibooks and sign out. Then you have to sign into ibooks using the book purchaser's Apple ID and password. Then you can download the book onto your device. Not too bad, huh? It only took a whole day of Apple people sending me wrong instructions before they figured it out. Geez. What a disappointing experience.

How do I see my ipad's pictures on iTunes?

Hallo, I tried to cancel some pictures from my ipad, but I realized I had to do it through iTunes, I tried, but it's not so simple. I am not able to see my pictures in the iTunes page, so I can't cancel them. Can anybody help me? I need instruction for "dummies", so please explain me how to do it in a very simple way. If they were photos that you synced to the iPad from your computer then they are removed in the same way as you put them on the iPad i.e. select the iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (with iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and then on the right-hand side of iTunes use the Photos tab to select which synced folders/albums that you want to remain on the iPad - you can't see or remove individual photos, it's done at the folder/album level.
If the photos were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit or saved from emails/websites etc then that can be deleted directly in the iPad's Photos app - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the Edit button in thumbnail view. You can also import those photos to your computer and delete them as part of the import process e.g. on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard, on a Mac you can use iPhoto, Aperture and Image Capture : copying photos to a computer.

Multiple devices, one email - how can I see from iPad if I've replied from iPhone.

Hi, I use both my iPhone and iPad to access my email. When I reply to a message on a device, I get an icon on the email on that device showing that I've replied. However, when I access the same email account from the other device, I don't see a replied icon. Any way I can get the replies synching so that I van see if I've replied across multiple devices?
(Particularly useful since my wife and I share one of the emails we access so useful to see if the other one of us has replied)
