FInd and launch the Videos app. The movie should be listed there.

Move your IN point a few seconds into the clip, and then drop it into the timeline.

It should be in the Videos App under the appropriate category. In this case "Rentals"

Check the available languages available for the Movie BEFORE purchase and not after.

I have just rented two movies and after download they are not visible anywhere for me to view. Usually in the iTunes menu there is an option call 'rentals' where rented movies sit until they expire, this is no longer visible. The movie files are listed in the finder under music/movies.... With the rest of my iTunes data, but they will not play in iTunes from there and I can't add them to my library for watching.
The only thing I am currently doing differently is that I have just subscribed to iTunes Match; would this affect my rentals?Hi Cmcb,
Under your Library list, you should see "Movies". Click on that, and you will see a screen with several tabs at the top - Rentals, Unwatched, Movies, Genres, Home Videos, etc.
As Hackintosh indicated above, click on the Rentals tab, and your movies will be displayed there. Doulbe click on one to start playing it.
If you do not have your sidebar showing, go up to View at the top, and click on Show Sidebar. Then you will see your Library lists on the sidebar, which will include Movies.

Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer. -

The reply from cor-el assumes that the question was about an ordinary download, managed by the "Downloads" panel interface. A Firefox update does its downloading (before installation) with a different interface panel. I do not have a screen-capture of the actual panel in that it's appearance happened a few days ago and our final approach was to suspend the automatic download (note that that had been started in error), and then to do all the manual steps we usually would do for a deliberately, manually-started, update. But the "hanging in mid-air" update forced us to do that update in a way and at a time that we ordinarily would not do it.
I still contend that the Firefox update progress panel (whatever it is labelled) does *'''NOT*''' have any obvious cancellation interface, not even the "x" noted above. (... and if it *only* had an "x", in my opinion that would not be a sufficiently obvious interface as compared to having a "Cancel" button.)

Goto finder, you'll see your usb in there. Then open another finder window, locate the file, and just drag the movie onto your memory stick.

@shldr2thewheel, it would have been far easier if you just answered the question. He didn't state the name of it, nor where he downloaded it from. Clearly your making an assumption that it was illegaly downloaded. -
i have lost many of my music files and some video files from i movie projects,after downloading OSX 10.9 Mavericks .My previous Original i movie has lost some also. The projects just have a green bar where the music files were. The system says cannot locte missing file.

Do you mean the Messages icon has disappeared from your DOCK on your Mac ?
Or do you mean that Messages does not appear in your Applications folder either ?
Or do you mean that in Messages Menu > Preference > Accounts the iMessages account is not Logged in ?
