How do I see recipients name in sent mail folder in mails?

Hello
I just bought Mac book pro Retina with OS X , and I noticed that with all my different email address's in sent folder I am just seeing my name as sender instead of whom I am sending the emails! I would like to see receiver's name in sent folder rather than sender's name which is me!! Anyone know how do I change that? This sent folder is under four different email address, like gmails and yahoo's.
Also there is a Sent tab where  you can see all the emails you sent from all your email accounts. Under that tab I do not see all my email that I have sent from  my different email accounts.
Please let me know if anybody know how to fix that.
Thank you in advance !

device is iPhone 6

You don't that is the reason you blocked that person so you won't see the message.

  • I want to fix a Genius Mix as a playlist...How do I see track names in a Genius Mix?

I want to fix a Genius Mix as a Playlist. How do I see track names behind a Genius Mix icon?

I don't think you can. I was going to suggest that since you can sync a Genius Mix to a device you might read off the tracks from that, but it turns out the details are hidden there too.
As I understand it once a Genius Mix has been created it won't be altered, unless you delete a "mix" you don't care for in which case a replacement will be generated.
To capture the list in iTunes I guess you would have to leave the mix to play all the way through until it loops back on itself, then sort your Music in Last Played order and capture the results to a regular playlist.

  • Howe how do i change the name of my home folder?

I was completing a form and i noticed that it was commenting in a name that i have never used on this computer. did a little digging and discovered that this name is the name of my "Home" folder. The name is my wife's late husband's name!!!! LoL I have absolutely no idea how that possibly could have become the name of my computer since I have never used that name!!!! Well for some reason I can find absolutely no way to change it. Geez folks, did I somehow stumble in the Microsoft world? I thought Macs were easy! LoL. The name of my computer is correct. Now how do I change the name of my "home" folder, whatever the f**** that is????
    Thanks!

  • How can I change the name of my home folder?

Just got a new job. Yeah! Taken over former employees' iMac. I made myself Administrator, seem to be the only log in option. But, my home folder is still in the old guys name. How can I change the name on the Home folder without deleting it and loose all the files? CAN'T loose the files?  Help...
    Thanks

Changing the existing home folder name is complicated. I recommend you NOT do that.
Instead, create a new User with exactly the home folder name you want, and copy your files over to that new user. Once a few days have gone by trouble-free, and you are certain you have no issues, you can delete the old home folder.
While on the subject of users, Some users prefer the peace-of-mind of using an "ordinary" user account, rather than an Admin account for daily use. This makes it much harder for anything to "sneak" onto your Mac, as you need to authenticate anything to be installed in system directories.
To do this, create a new Admin user, log into it, and demote your daily-use account to a non-Admin user. When actively installing stuff, the Admin username and password will be requested.

  • How do I display multiple recipients in the Sent Mail list view???

In the list of sent mails, only one name (the first recipient) shows up in the "to" column. I would like to show as many names as there is room for, and not have to open the message itself to see multiple intended recipients.
Other email clients do this as the default, but in Mail I just can't find the setting for how many names to display in that column.
    Help!!!!

    Terence,
Thanks for the information.  Although this allowed me to open multiple windows, they are all show in a format too small (large thumb nails) to use.  I'm looking for a way to do a "split-window" function where two windows are shown (at the same time) larger enough to move between the windows and perform functions such as copy, paste, edit, or drag data from one to the other.
    Thanks

How can I see (without clicking anywhere) the name that I gave when I'm in that webpage?
Is there any option/addon so I can see that information in any bar?
    Thank you!

Maybe Tab Mix Plus has that feature (e.g. set the title of the tab to the bookmark title).

  • How do I change the name of the Home folder OSX 10.9

    Hi there,
I am trying to change the name of the Home folder on my Macbook Pro running OSX 10.9  I had a clean install of 10.9, and used migration assistant to restore my settings from a Time Machine Backup.
The problem is that the Home folder for my user is now named "Cody 1" when it used to be "Cody".  This seems like a minor issue, but all the programs that reference data in the old location, are forcing me to go and find the data manually.  Everything from iPhoto to VirtualBox, all files have to be found manually.
I have tried the instructions set forth in this article, http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1428, but the dialog that should, according to the article, allow me to redirect the account to the existing folder, returns an error saying that the user name is already in use.  There is no option to use the existing folder.  I have tried re-naming the folder to something different, to no avail.
    Ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    -Cody

The Apple Support document you referenced is cumbersome, outdated, buggy, and too likely to result in the sort of problems you described.
It may be too late now but see the following:
Niel's post here: How to change name of home folder
    and:
Apple Support Communities contributor Pondini found an astonishingly simple way to accomplish what you seek. etresoft distilled that information into the following User Tip:
    Changing user account short name
Note that he writes it has been tested on Mountain Lion but the procedure appears sound and should work equally well with Mavericks.
Back up your system before doing either one.
To fix what happened might be possible in Single user mode. I don't have specific instructions but you should be able to find and delete user accounts in the /Users directory.
Type carefully and don't proceed without knowing the risks.

  • Viewing bcc names in sent mail

When I send an email with bcc's, sometimes my sent-mail shows the names and sometimes it does not. Why? How can I get it to show the names all the time? It doesn't seem to be dependent on the number of bcc's either. Thanks. I do have more than one email address but this issue seems independent of which address I'm using.

No, I guess you should check the duplicate post.

  • How do I get ALL of my sent mail into apple mail?

Just got a new hard drive after Genius Bar said it was failing this week.
After they re-installed Snow Leopard, I moved my data from Time Machine back-up to my MacBook Pro. During this process, the mail import wizard kept crashing (Assuming there was at least one mbox file that either was corrupt or something?). So, I dumped .plist file, opened mail app and starting re-building all my folders one at a time using the 'rebuild' function.
But, the rebuild function did not grab a separate sub-folder in Sent Folder for my work POP accounts called 'Messages-T0x10bc0cb00-1KEwvh' - all of these have sent mail from the last two years. Everytime I try importing them, mail app crashes.
    A) How do I get these emails into my sent folder for this POP account?
    B) Why is the import function crashing? (The console keeps saying Can't get profile to fetch realms edu.mit.kerberos.krb5kdc Throttling respaw: Will start in 10 seconds)
    C) How do I know if "Rebuild" function didn't grab some other folders - do I need to manually find those sub-folders?
    Thanks so much.

Figured it out!  In Outlook, right click on your iCloud inbox folder.  Click on IMAP folders.  You have to manually subscribe to any of the folders that you want to sync.  I had about 20 and I had to manually type them all in...but...it works now!

  • How do you change the name of the Home Folder?

I would like to change the name of the Home Folder.
    How do you do this?

Hold command r keys and boot the computer into Lion Recovery Partition.
From there you can erase the Lion OS X Partition using Disk Utility and download and install a new copy of Lion from Apple's Servers.
Upon rebooting normally you will go through the setup and can set whatever name on the machine as you wish.
All files and third party programs will be removed, so save your files off the machine and resintall programs from fresh sources, download iLife from the AppStore again if you need it.
Sorry this is the only way it can be done to remove a previous owner entirely from the machine, you can delete a use from the System Preferences> accounts, but not the owner unless you do a total reinstall.

  • Can't see message contents in "sent" mail folder

I had to rebuild my Apple Mail system two weeks ago. Now, if I need to look at a "sent" message from a point further back than two weeks ago, I can see the message entry, the subject, the addressee, but not the actual content of the message. I followed some advice elsewhere in this forum, but I think it made matters worse-I found two "sent" folders, under two different incoming mail identities, both mine, in my home Library Mail folder; I combined them, by physically dragging the contents from one to the other. Didn't work. Now I can't access any sent mail-I get the front details, but no contents. So now, if I have to, I can visit my Home folder Library to dig up old sent mail(it's all there), but I can't see anything from the Mail application. Any advice?

No, my question still hasn't been answered, but I can add information. As it is now, if I open my "sent" mail folder, I can see a list of emails, with subjects, date sent, etc., but if I click on one of them, if the email is older than a certain date I won't see a message. The lower, message, window is blank.
The new information is this: when I posted my original question, above, on Nov. 9, the blank-message problem wasn't an issue for messages sent in the preceding week; only for messages sent before that. Now, on Nov. 13, I can read messages back to Nov. 9, but not before that. The problem is advancing a day at a time. I can only read messages sent within the last four or five days; not before.
