How do I see the front and back arrows on the top left hand side of my macbook pro?
Click "View' menu in the application menu bar select Show Toolbar
or
click "Customize Toolbar" and drag the arrows or "default set to the Toolbar".

I have a Macbook pro 15" 2012 model with a red/turquoise line which appeared the day before yesterday on the right hand side of my screen....i have plugged in a monitor to see if it appeared on that monitor too and it hasnt? First question is do you have Applecare? If so, just take it in and let them fix it.

When searching through a website, covering many pages of information, sometimes you just want to jump back to a page.
Using the little dow arrow was a handy way to see where you have been and to jump multiple steps/pages backwards without continuing to click back, back, back, until finally reaching where you were. I really use it a lot and am hoping you will either restore it or provide me with a new way to do the same thing.

MaggieThe arrow to open the tab history of the Back and Forward buttons has been removed in Firefox 4 and later.
Use one of these methods to open the tab history list:
* Right click on the Back or Forward button
* Hold down the left mouse button on the enabled Back or Forward button until the list opens

lost forward&back arrows ? seems that on upper right icons allowed me to delete which browser and as i deleted yahoo i lost the front and back arrows and the far upper right browser choices? HELP
If the menu bar is hidden then press the F10 key or hold down the Alt key, that should make the menu bar appear.
* Go to "View > Toolbars" and check-mark "Menu Bar" with a click if you want to make that permanent
Make sure that all the toolbars like the "Navigation Toolbar" and the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible: "View > Toolbars"
* If items are missing then open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
* If a missing item is in the toolbar palette then drag it back from the Customize window on the toolbar
* If you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the toolbar palette then click the "Restore Default Set" button to restore the default toolbar set up.

The front and back camera on my itouch second generation stopped working. Any thoughts on how to fix it?
First, try to reset the device by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data by resetting.
If this does not work, set it up as new device again, explained in this article:

If still no luck, get it serviced, the issue might not be software related.

I made a beautiful invitation for my sons graduation in pages it has 1 photo on the front and 5 photos on the back. When I try to export it to my work pc the text is not supported and it looks terrible. Help!
How did you transfer it to the PC?
Not good to export as a Word .doc/x, better to:

On MSN web sight there use to be forward and back arrows on the left hand upper side of page that let me go forward and back from page to page. Now the arrows are gone and I have to use the History or Bookmarks to move back and forth.
The arrows didn't reappear when I up dated to the new foxfire.Click the Firefox button, go to Add-ons, then Plugins and disable the following:<br><br>

* My Web Search<br><br>
Both of these are adware/spyware and cause performance issues in Firefox.
Next, click the Extensions menu link (above Plugins where you are) and remove the "Ask Toolbar".

The Firewire ports on the front and back... do they share bandwidth, or are they distinct and separate cards such that I can get (theoretical) 400Mb off of either, 800 total?

Has both FW400 and 800 on the front and back.
Question still stands though. Are the ports on the front sharing bandwidth with the ones on the back?

I installed iOS5 last night and was having the same problems described above with my iPad 1 32 GB + 3G. Unknown Error (1) and was unable to restore.
I took my ipad to the local Apple Store today and was told by the genius that it was a hardware issue, and because the warranty had expired, there was nothing the Store could do. He suggested that I try calling AppleCare. Then I asked to speak with a manager. He apologized again and said there was just nothing the Store could do. I was close to leaving, when I asked a second time if it would be possible to see a Manager.
After asking a second time, he called a manager. After explaining my issue to her, she immediately authorized him to give me a new iPad ! Anyone with this problem should definitely go to the store and be polite but adamant. You should get a new iPad. -
The keyboard on my macbook air has stopped working. It was fine at lunch time now the up and down arrows move the page and the left and right take me into dashboard and out. The keys beep if pressed the only way to type is to use bluetooth keyboard.please help

While those numbers seem low its important to remember what the ipad cameras are for. They are not for taking photos. Who wants to hold up a huge ipad to take photos anyway when the chances are we all own a camera phone with much higher resolution or better yet, a real camera.
The cameras are designed for video. The front camera is good enough for facetime only while the rear can handle 720p video. Again, enough for a video call but thats about it. -
How can I keep the front and back of a photo together in a single image?
I'm running PSE 8 on XP with SP3.
I'm getting ready to upgrade to PSE 9.
My cousin just sent me 24 old family photos.
On the back of each photo is a lot of information.
Who is in the picture, where it was taken, what the event was, etc.
What I'd like to be able to do is to scan these images in and somehow keep the front and the back of
each photo together in a single image. That way I can post them to a photo web site and people
can look at the image and read what it is.
I have a Lexmark Pro 205 printer/scanner.

Here is what I did:
Duplicated background layer
Applied Brightness/contrast adjustment layer, worked the sliders
Merged down
Sampled sky with eye dropper tool, opened blank layer at top of stack, used brush tool to cover a few of the spots in the sky (?dust)
Merged down
Accessed Smart brush tool, selected black & white in drop down, selected high contrast b&w, covered the sky with that
Selected Yellow filter, and covered the ground
Merged down
Opened a blank layer at top of stack and added a couple of clouds
Applied Photofilter adjustment layer, warming filter LBA, adjusted density
Sharpened slightly with unsharp mask
Merged visible
Applied stroke
On review, the spots in the sky need additional work - they show up more on-line than in PSE. Can be fixed in step #4.
