How do I see Thumbnail view in Safari? iOS6

I've just watched a video on icons for iPad, and the guy switches between the screens via Thumbnails.  So you can see at a glance, what's what.  Very useful if you have various pages open that are from the same site, and the <title> of the page is mostly the same.
I've read that Tabbed View has replaced it, which seems a little backward, specially on a smaller screen.
Is this true, or has Apple put back the option to use thumbnails, as well as Tabs?

Mmmmm.
On your first reason, I don't understand.  If you had that icon at the top near the back/forth buttons, that opens the icons, why would the tabs be two steps - surely you'd have the tabs as well?
I do get the appearance issue tho.  But if you are, for example, looking at BBC News.  Often the title of it comes after 'News', and with multiple tabs, you would see which is which so easy.  Yet in Thumbnails you would really easy.
Thanks for info about Mercury.  Not heard of that.

You should get the mobile version of YouTube which sends Firefox a notice to open it in the YouTube App. That will have a much better playback experience than running Flash in the browser.

How do I see the "views" to my posts? I can only see the replies

A view occurs when someone clicks on the link to a specific thread; if they choose not to or can't reply for some reason, no record of who it was is left in any place you can access. Therefore, you can't find out who has viewed a thread if they've opted not to reply to it.

    Hey Mike,
Good post, I'd be curious to see if anyone has used the GD Picture SDK with SharePoint, maybe there would be some sample code.
    Hey Kukdai,
Developing your own solution would potentially provide a better way to accomplish your task, but before setting out on that long road you may want to try the simple customization, it's less time consuming and it will help gauge your customer's interest and
    support.
Also, there is a wealth of open source code for SharePoint available on CodePlex, you might want to check that out as well.  Here is the linK:

Also, here is an interesting project to consider for your task:

    I hope that helps!

  • How can I see multiple pages in safari

I used to be able to have up to 9 pages visible in safari, my husband has been playing with my iPad and upgrading it and now I can only see one page with the others in the toolbar only.... How an I change it back pls

iOS 5 added the use of Tabs at the top of the Safari screen. Just simply tap on a tab at the top under the browser bar to switch from site to site.

  • I purged my cache, how can I see thumbnails of my images again? Help!

I am a photographer and I should know more about my computer, but it is an iMac and it is new to me.  My latest images were uploaded and when I tried to edit an image, a pop up kept coming up saying something about "the start up disk is full and you need to make room, etc.."
I decided to purge my cache within Adobe Bridge.  Now, when I open bridge to view my images, it just shows them as a "CR2" file (I shoot RAW) and I am unable to see which image is which.
How can I fix this?  I want to be able to view my images to see which one's I want to edit and save.
    Thanks!

If you aren't seeing everything then try increasing your screen resolution to at least 1024x768 so you can see the whole page: iTunes window does not display all options

  • How do I see thumbnails of the .NEF files I'm importing?

Windows Vista 64-bit Ultimate.  Lightroom 2.6.
When I go to import .NEF files off my card, sometimes I just want to import one or two that I need NOW.  The rest can
wait.  But LR onlyshows me filenames and sizes, and occasionally the date (I've seen the date ONCE recently.  Most of
the time it's blank).  In order to find the picture I want, I need a thumbnail.  How?
    Chuck

In the import window, check the box that says Show Preview

  • How can i see a crash log from safari?

How can I see Crash logs from Safari, it sometimes crashes.

I have a late 2008 Mac Book Pro (2.66 Core 2 Duo) and had the same problem. Additionally I have replaced my HDD with a Crucial M4 and my CD-RW with an OCZ Vertex2 using an optibay.
The fix in My case was the Firmware upgrade of the Crucial M4 SSD from Rev 000F to 010G.
The Vertex 2 also got an upgrade to version 1.37
I keep my OS on the Crucial M4 and my Home on the OCZ.
    Hope this helps someone.
Looks like Apple, in the 10.8.2 Combo changed some drivers for the SSDs and firmware upgrade is mandatory on the nonsuported SSDs.
    Thank you.

  • Thumbnail view as the default setting.

    Two related questions.
    1) How do I make Thumbnail view in the project panel the default setting for all/new projects?   I've set my workspace and keyboard arrangement as my custom layouts, but when I make a new project, it always defaults to list view.
    2) In a project I'm already using, when I load it up, it's loading up in list view where as in all old Premiere versions, it would load up as whatever the previous setting was.  Am I doing something without realizing it that's making it default back to list view?
    Thanks.

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong. And as far as I know, nothing's been changed in this regard in terms of expected behavior. So my first guess is that your preferences aren't getting saved properly. The first test I'd try is to launch PPro, change a pref that's easy to test like Show Tooltips, save/close/relaunch, and check whether tooltips are displayed--or simply go back into Preferences and see if the setting stuck.
If that change to the prefs didn't take, then the next step is to clear the prefs by holding down the Alt key while you launch Pr.  Keep holding it down until you see the Welcome Screen pops up.

  • Thumbnail View of Photos

I have added some photos into a file under my document library (I can switch them to a image folder if needed), and I want to be able to see a thumbnail preview of the image.  I am having issues finding how to make the thumbnail view an option.
I am new to using Sharepoint and could really use the help!
    Thank you!

Firstly use Picture library for uploading photos and then use the view -
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/office365-sharepoint-online-enterprise-help/work-with-photos-in-a-picture-library-HA102841687.aspx
There is a good discussion on this on this forum discussion- http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/b8fdb57c-2a24-49ba-ae9d-905da3652ebf/modify-thumbnail-view-of-picture-library
Alternatively use Asset library, which uses thumbnail view by default -

  • How CAN i see site using media flash player

some internet sites use flash media player how CAN i see those sites situ safari???

You can try one of the apps I listed in the first sentence.
This is Mr. Jobs statement of Flash: http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
Based upon this I would not expect to see Flash on iOS devices anytime soon.

  • How can i see the previews of a folder's images from the Thumbnail View?

I mean, in windows XP if you set the Thumbnail View, inside the icon of the folder you can see the preview of the images inside ( like this http://mowd.idv.tw/LonghornPDC/folder_preview.JPG )...
Is there a way to do it on Mac OS X? Maybe some plug-in, some file manager: anything...i often have to check out thousands of photos to find the reference for an illustration, and it's pretty frustrating having to open up every folder...
    Thanks in advance
    iMac 24"   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

but none of these two options allows me to see a folder's images BEFORE opening it...
You want to go back and try that again... just right click on the folder - you don't have to open it - and choose 'Show In PicturePopPro2'.
Check out the icons on the menu bar - you can get a contact sheet view, move from shot to shot using the arrow keys... it'll do what you want.
    Regards

  • When I open a new tab, I want to see a thumbnail view of few recent pages. How to set that?

My friend uses Google Chrome browser, and when he openes a new tab he can see on it a thumbnail view of 6 or 8 recent visited pages. Vith a simple click on each of them he can revisit that pages.
I do not want to change my default browser (Firefox) but want to have that option.

There are several add-ons that allow you to do this, such as [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/777/ New Tab Homepage] and [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2221/ NewTabURL].

To view it in an acceptable format, yes.  You can try using an opensource program such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice and see if it yields better results.  However, I'm sure if it would be compatible with a document made with word processing software from 9 years ago, but I would certainly give it a try.
