How do I send a file from Compressor to create a DVD using iDVD?

  I edited the movie in FCX and used Compressor to add chapter markers.  How do I export it as a file for iDVD?  Thanks

Hi Lisa,
I am assuming you have these files on your Local Hard Drive and you want to upload them to Acrobat.com.
In order to do so, you would need to open cloud.acrobat.com and click on the 'files' tab on the extreme left and thereby you can upload your files to Acrobat.com by choosing 'Upload file' Icon on the right hand side of the Window.
Please revert back if you have any other query or need any further assistance.

Rahul

  • How do you send a File from the Clinent End To the Server?

    Hi, I'm jut learing Java and am tring to send a file from the Cleints end to the Servers' end, I know how to do this in Php, but its some what different in Java, i know where is a File Class which i can post the information into but for some reason it woudn't work
    <%@ page import=" javax.servlet.*, java.io.File" %>
    <%
    String fullname, emailadds, genre, filename;
    fullname = request.getParameter("Name");
    emailadds = request.getParameter("email");
    genre = request.getParameter("genre");
    filename = request.getParameter("clip");
    File file = new File();
    file.isFile();
    if (file.isFile())
    out.print("File is true");
    else
    out.print("file ain't there");
    %>
    just as a tester i tried this to see if file is being read, but it won't compile
    I keep getting this error sign! Have i missed out a lib or somthing?
    \upload_jsp.java:52: cannot find symbol
    symbol : constructor File()
    location: class java.io.File
    File file = new File();

    Sham, dont show your anger... and dont use provocative words...
    Now, coming to your problems.
    your jsp/html should contain some thing like
    <form action="/uploadServlet" method="post">
    <input type="file" name="file"/>
    <input type ="submit" value="upload"/>
    </form>and for servlet code, refer to
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=516176&messageID=2461686
    or the easiest way would be to use 'commons-fileupload' api available on http://jakarta.apache.org/commons/

  • Slide Show from Fotomagico to .mov to DVD using iDVD 08

    I used to make slide shows using analogue equipment (multiple slide projectors and electronic controlled slide changes involving fading and timing). These slideshows were projected onto a large screen (2m * 2m). With the introduction of large high definition TV screens and advanced display options it is natural to aim for this media. I use Fotomagico to develop slideshows and aim for quality high definition and smooth transitions (pan, zoom, fade). As long as I use the Fotomagico for screening transitions are smooth but once I take the show thru the conversion process (part of Fotomagico) to make .mov files for QuickTime or that matter for iDVD, pan/zooms may or may not come out jerky on the screen be that on the computer screen or the TV. However this never happens when using "Front Row". Is it possible that Quicktime and iDVD (08) do not make proper use of hardware resources available? Is there any software that would not cost me an arm and a leg that would overcome this problem? My system is a Mac Pro Q-Core 2.8 GHz and 6 GB of RAM and I have 200 GB HDrive available. One of the offending pictures has 344 KB with an aspect ratio of 3.6 taking 12 seconds for the pan (screening the picture from let to right in slow motion) and increasing the screening of one image to 20 second may reduce the jerky motion slightly. Fotomagico staff is aware of that problem that will not occur as long as the show is screened using Fotomagico - of course the whole exercise is to bring a show to anyone using DVD players and TV screens. I am highly suspicious of QuickTime and iDVD since shows play ok using "Front Row". Any suggestions or questions?

    What am I missing? How come DVD recorders can record and play back good to very good resolution and motion in HD coming from TV broadcasts or for that matter coming from professionally made DVDs?
    Maybe I left something unexplained in my post: Slideshows developed with Fotomagico and transferred to .MOV format and then recorded on DVD (using iDVD) in 1920*1080 are coming out quite good on my large screen TV (LG DLP 52" 1280*720p) and the same is true playing the .MOV file on the Mac or a PC. I do not use a projector for play back.
    It is only when it comes to PAN/ZOOM motions that the display can become jerky. During the translation from Fotomagico to .MOV format I am using the best resolution and compression available to me. I am aware that during the translation (authoring?) massive amounts of data have to be processed to generate the illusion of a slowly moving picture passing across the TV (monitor) screen especially so considering the wide screen (16:9) format.
    I am new to making movies for DVDs and I like to learn and why not from the best; any help with my problem is much welcomed and I apologise if I don't use the proper terms or if I bark up the wrong tree.

  • How to copy/send text file from FTPS to SAP ECC File Port

    Hi Frdns,
    I am working on one design, actually my requirement as follows
    I am receiving financial information document from Banks, which is in the form of BIA2 message format, it looks like text file. This information needs to be sending to SAP ECC system.
    I identified some approaches to full fill the requirement
    1)Using Conversion agent/or third party tools to convert BIA2 message in to XML, then using PI I will pick up the XML message, convert it in to IDoc.
    2)Without any conversion I will copy the same file (original BIA2 message) in to SAP ECC file port, in this case no conversion required, calling some program I will schedule it.
    I am looking forward t implement the second approach because it saves lot of money to my client.
    Now I am wondering using File adapter can i copy to SAP ECC File Port or I required ABAP proxy?
    What is the best approach to copy the BIA message text file from FTPS to SAP ECC File Port.??
    Regards,
    Raj

    Hi Raja,
    >>Now I am wondering using File adapter can i copy to SAP ECC File Port or I required ABAP proxy?
    Yes you can do this copy, the only restriction that can happen is the file size.. If you are sure that the fiel will be of few MB at the max then you can use the Configuration part alone and copy it to ECC folder. For doing this you need the following:
    1. Sender agreement (mention the sender interface as anything XYZ)
    2. Sender communication channel. Pick the file in binary mode
    3. Receiver determination (keep both the sender and receiver service as same)
    4. Interface Detemiantion (dont specify any mapping and keep the receiver interface name as XYZ)
    5. Create receiver agreement (with same service and interface)
    6. Use file adapter here

  • How do I send a file containing links so that they can use the links

    I purchased two copies of a file that is a list of links.  I wish to send one to a friend but want to be sure the links will work.  Can anyone help with this, does Adobe Send do that?
    Message was edited by: Marion Steinbrenner  THIS QUESTION HAS NOT BEEN ANSWERED.

    Adobe Send can certainly do that.
    Or you can do it manually:
    upload the file to Acrobat.com
    check the file on the Acrobat.com site and click Send
    use Create Anonymous Link and click the Create Link button
    copy the created download link and send it by email

  • Sending .xlsx file from ABAP

    Hi Experts,
    How can we send .XLSX file from ABAP.
    I have done as suggested in note 1459896 but it's not working.
    I have added the header table with such value
    concatenate '&SO_FILENAME=' lv_filename into lv_text_line.
      append lv_text_line to lt_att_head.
    passing header table to
    lo_document->add_attachment( exporting i_attachment_type = 'XLS'
                                      i_attachment_subject = 'AttachmentFilename'
                                      i_attachment_size = lv_size
                                      i_attachment_header = lt_att_head
                                      i_att_content_hex    = binary_content ).
    but when I try to open it in SOST it says," file format or extension is not valid " .
    Do you think if I send thsi mail to outlook it will work. ?
    Thanks
    Willi

    But SAP note says 1459896 , it can be done
    using
    filename = 'attachment.xlsx'
    concatenate '&SO_FILENAME=' lv_filename into lv_text_line.
      append lv_text_line to lt_att_head.
    but still not working.

  • Can we send .csv file from sap srm system to sap pi?

    Hi Experts,
    we have 3 options send the data from sap systems to sap pi.i. e.proxy,idoc and rfc only
    How can we send .csv file from sap srm to sap pi?
    Regards,
    Anjan

    Anjan
    As you know SAP SRM and SAP PI are different boxes.
    *_Option 1:_*
    we need a shared AL11 directory in between SAP SRM and SAP PI (Ask basis to setup shared folder). Place / Populate the file in the folder from SAP SRM and then it can be picked through sender file communication channel.
    In this case you (Basis team) will share one folder which is visible from the AL11 transaction of both the systems (SRM and PI). You will drop .csv file using some report or program from SRM at this location and from PI you can read that file using File communication channel (NFS mode).
    Option 2:
    Setup a FTP at SRM environment and expose some folder which can be accessible from PI. Use sender file communication channel at PI end to pick the file.
    You can use this option incase sharing of folder is not possible (due to network / other constrains). Here FTP server is required to expose any folder as FTP so as it can be accessible from internet (remote location). You need to expose some folder at SRM machine.  You will drop .csv file using some report or program from SRM at this location. Now PI can fetch the file from that location using  sender file communication channel (FTP Mode) providing user credentials.
    Hope it clears now.
    Regards

  • How Do I Send A File Over An Air-Port Network

    I have a good knowledge of mac but ive only just set upa network, weve got three new iMacs with airport networks, i know the networks work because we can chat over iChat but how do i send a file from one computer to another.
    Also one of the computers is getting the internet from the school network via Ethernet cable, can te other macs share the internet from this computer over the Airport network.
    (we do not have a base station)
    please help

    ]but how do i send a file from one computer to another.
    You can do that over iChat if you want.
    To share files between the computers you need to network them.
    For networking (ie sharing files), System Preferences -> Sharing -> File Sharing
    Then in Finder ⌘ K and type in the name of the other computer.
    ]Also one of the computers is getting the internet from the school network via Ethernet cable, can te other macs share the internet from this computer over the Airport network.
    System Preferences -> Sharing -> Internet Tab
    Share your connection from built-in-ethernet
    To computers using Airport
    Airport Options button will allow you to add a WEP password.
    I would check with your school network administrator that you are allowed to do this.

  • How do I transfer PDF files from PC to IPAD using Itunes 12.1.2.  Previous versions let me drag file in Itunes to Ipad and files appeared under Ibook but can't get it to work in latest 12.1.2 version.

    How do I transfer PDF files from PC (Windows 7) to IPAD using Itunes 12.1.2.  I would like to do files manually rather then auto synch.  Previous versions let me drag file in Itunes to Ipad and files appeared under Ibook and then I could move them to an appropriate collection title.  The interface appears to have changed in the latest ITunes version and I am not sure what the proper procedure is.

    King_Penguin - Thanks it worked perfectly.  I had my pdf files copied into ITunes on my PC but when I clicked on a pdf file to copy it I thought the sidebar would appear with my IPAD name and then I would drag it over.  I didn't realize that I needed to click-and start dragging it towards the left-hand side for the sidebar to appear.  It worked like a charm - THANKYOU!!!

  • How to import SQLite .db file from AIR project

    hi friends..
    how to import SQLite.db file from AIR project. and i want use this in my application.
    after importing can i update and delete the recordS?

    There's no import needed. You just open it using the AIR SQL APIs. If this database file was created outside AIR, it's not necessarily compatible, though. There are SQLite features and extensions that aren't supported in AIR.

  • How do I open raw files from a Panasonic DMC-GF5 using Elements10 on a PC?

    How do I open RAW files from a Panasonic DMC-GF5 camera using Elements 10 on my PC?  When I try to open a Raw file I get a message 'wrong type of file'

    I believe you need ACR 7.1 which PSE10 cannot be updated to.
    Use the DNG Converter to make DNGs from the RAW files and those should open in your older PSE version.
    You can also buy a newer version of PSE.  Perhaps do a Trial (Try) of PSE12 and see if PSE13 comes out in the next week or so.
    The DNG Converter can be found on this page:  http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates
    PSE12 Trial: http://www.adobe.com/downloads.html
