How do I send a text using messages from my macbook to an iPhone ?

I tried to send it to their phone number, but it said they were offline. And they downloaded iMessage for the iPhone but it still wasn't sending from my computer. Is there some kind of trick?

You can get quite simple standalone MQ Java programs from this site http://www.capitalware.biz/mq_code_java.html.
Also regarding the jars required for your application depends on the API being used. If you use MQI API few jars are required and if you decide to use JMS API you'll require few other jars. But you got to either install Websphere MQ Java Client, which will copy the jars to the respective location, or you can choose to copy the jars from some other machine manually.
Eventually, all the jars related to MQI and JMS API will reside under /usr/mqm/java/lib/ or /var/mqm/java/lib/ UNIX Environment. And in case of WINTEL, you should find the jars under C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\Java\lib.

Anyone know of a reliable script or app that will allow a site visitor to fill out a 'form' and send an instant text message from the site ? Same as email...but rather than email...type out and send a text message instead ?

Tecnically yes. This is because SMS is basically handled just like an email address, ie; [email protected]
There are services out there that will charge you either flat rate or per message to send them for you as you would need to know what server that number is on. If you want to have people select what carrier that number is on, you just create a mail form with a dropdown with a list of carriers that then set the domain variable in the TO address field. You have to plan that the user doesn't know what carrier that phone number is on, thus where the pay-for sites come in handy.

I can't use FaceTime from my macbook to my iPhone?

I'm hoping someone is able to come up with an easy solution to my problem. I recently bought a Macbook pro and registered my Apple Id, iCloud etc. on it, it all worked fine and I could use Facetime to other users. Today I then got an iPhone 4S and when registering it I used the same Apple Id and also password. It soon set things up on the phone, however I could not use facetime to our Macbook or to others. At the same time I could no longer use the facetime app on the Macbook. I can understand that I might not be able to register to Apple products with the same Id etc. and be able to connect between them, but does anyone know a simple solution to this. Can I set up a second Apple Id for the Phone and then use facetime between them?
I look forward to hear from anyone who's more into their Apple products than me ;0)

It appears you are unable to use SMS relay, a Continuity feature in Yosemite. The following article provides basic troubleshooting steps you may want to explore:
Get help using Continuity with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite - Apple Support
If a Continuity feature like Handoff, phone calls, Instant Hotspot, or SMS messages isn't working the way you'd expect, make sure your devices meet the requirements. Then check your settings.
Check System Requirements
Make sure your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac meet the system requirements for Continuity, and for the specific features you want to use.
Check your settings
Check the following settings on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn on Wi-Fi if necessary.
Make sure your iOS devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network by going to Settings > Wi-Fi and comparing the name of the network each is on.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn on Bluetooth if necessary.
Go to Settings > General > Handoff & Suggested Apps and make sure Handoff is on.

When sending iMessages using iPad mini an old photo that I've deleted from my MacBookPro in 'System Preferences/User&Groups' pops up with each iMessage I send. Genius Bar said iMessage was pulling this from iCloud and they recommended I change the photo inmy iCloud account, which I did. This did not help. Where could iMessage be gathering an old photo that's been deleted? Has anyone experienced this? and if so, is there a solution/fix?

I don't follow where this picture is appearing. You have to go to some trouble to add a picture to an iMessage. Might it be popping up from a contact name you are using that happens to have a picture associated with it in your contacts list?

I am making t-shirts and I can't get this image to reverse (print out as a mirror image, which I need for the photo transfer paper to work I can reverse part of the image using the rotation tool for "flip horizontal", but for some reason it doesn't work on all of it. Also, I'm using a macbook and when I go to print, under "paper tray/quality" I can actually see a box to check for mirror image, but it is in grey scale, so I can't select it.
