This should all be on one line. It might get truncated by mail servers.
The %20 gets translated to a space. You can leave the ?subject=etc.., and
you can even leave the email address. It's also possible to fill in the
message, but I never got it working (or forgot how to do it).

How do I send email with a different "From:" address?

Hi,
I have an email account that forwards to my mac.com account, and on my iPhone I have it set up to sync mail with that MobileMe account. Push is working fine and I can send and receive email.
What I'd like to do, though, is set it so by default my outgoing email uses my other email address, not my mac.com address. Ideally, people wouldn't have to know about my mac.com account at all. I can do this on the Mac by setting email addresses in the settings, but can't figure out how to do it on the iPhone.
I'm aware that I could set it up to check the first account directly, but I prefer forwarding that mail to the mac.com account so I get the syncing and push that's available there and not with a regular IMAP account.
Is there any way to do this?

Hello,
There seems to be a big difference in sending group mails with maverick. I use groups so that individual addresses don't show up. But with maverick a had a realy bad supprise seeing all of the addresses expanded in the mail I send.
I checked the preferences and the option "when sending to a group show all memeber addresses" isn't checked but they show up anyway. I tested with a small group and there seems to be now way to avoid it.
This is realy embarassing and I'm very ashamed that I send a message that way to numerous professional contacts.
Please correct this bug fast........ since mail isn't usable in a professional setting this way.

Access Outlook Express from Firefox

How do I access Outlook Express from Firefox. I have succeeded in getting an Outlook Express link next to the HOME symbol in the upper access bar, but it only brings up the "Send" screen.

What do you mean by "access"?
Outlook Express doesn't have any direct relationship to Firefox. It is a stand-alone email program on your computer.

[HELP] Send email with attachment files from application server

How can i send email to users with pdf/xls attachment files through job with pl/sql , but the files are on application server.
I've tried using UTL_MAIL but it's not working, cause the file & DIRectory setting should be inside of database server. Should I copy the files from report server to database file system or any other techniques so there's no need to use the physical files?

I've tried the java send mail suggest by alvinder, and i got an error if i fill the Sender parameter with AutoMail :
status:1 javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: 553 5.5.4 <AutoMail>... Domain name required
Then i changed the Sender with valid email address :
status:1 javax.mail.SendFailedException: Sending failed;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: 501 5.1.8 Domain of sender address [email protected] does not exist
What could be wrong with this? Please help me... since i dont understand java programming :)

Sending email with outlook, thunderbird, eudora.....

this is a problem that has lasted over a month now. spoiled, aren't we. want instant answers just like fast connections. i have been all over the net, on the phone muliple times with verizon tech support, had our computer wiped, and reinstalled OS xp. reinstalled router, modem and everything else. we can go online to our email addresses using verizon webmail and can receive and send. using the downloaded programs listed above mail will receive, but not send. i have set, reset, re re set the accounts ad nausium and cannot get these programs to send. NEVER had this happen before. even outlook express won't work. windows support, thunderbird and eudora support, even outlook support have no answers. verizon obviously has no answers either. dial up is starting to sound like a good option but who wants to go backwards! help?

Cannot send emails with Outlook 2013

Hello, please can anyone help with the following. I can send & receicve emails via my BT Mail account but can only receive them with Outlook 2013. It used to work ok, I've not made any changes to the settings and I like to use it as a matter of convenience. Is it straight forward to put this right or should I remove the Office installation that it is part of and re-install it.Thank you

Sending emails with Outlook

The last few weeks I have been having trouble sending emails off and on with Outlook. I will write it, click send, and then it won't go anywhere. It just sits there, I wait several times through for the system to send/receive messages but it does nothing. I will usually copy the message body, delete it, redo the email again, send it and it will work. However, it seems to not be doing even that now. I have tried several times to send a standard email and it is not working at all. Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do about it? It's not even giving an error message. It's just saying send/receive has been completed.

How can I sync email with Outlook, including folders

I want to see and use, on my iPad, the same files and folders I have in outlook on my PC. Also I want any changes I make on the PC or the iPad to sync with each other.
PC is running Windows 7,
Outlook 2007, but could switch to 365 if necessary.
I currently use Gmail for my email accounts server. They are set up as POP accounts with Outlook using a .PST data file. However, IMAP is available for Gmail.
If I could convert my PST file to an OST file and change my email accounts to IMAP accounts I think everything would work but i haven't found a way to convert the data file.
I greatly prefer not to have all my data on a cloud but might consider it if there is no other way.
I will consider 3rd party apps if they do the job and are known to be reliable

Connect your iPad to your computer and open iTunes. Look under 'info' and you may need to scroll down. The option will be there to sync your outlook calendar (or more) with the iPad. Choose what you want and sync to 'save' the settings.

Sending email with a different "from" addresss

I have several email addresses that I use to send emails out. I noticed that when I want to send an email out under a specific email address I can't use any of my addresses and have to use the one that email is set up under. Is there any way to be able to select the email address you want to send it out "from".
I have two smtp addresses set up and am using one of them. The email always goes out "from" that smtp's email address. It seems that the outgoing email "from" address has to always be the smtp you use for "outgoing mail" setup. Any way to have multiple "from email" addresses on the ipad like you can on the iMac?

To enable sending from multiple accounts, you either need to have multiple accounts set up on the iPad, or be using MobileMe Aliases. If you have multiple email accounts set up, you just tap on the sender address, opening up a series of fields, where you can tap the sender again and choose the account you want to use. They do each need their own SMTP servers, AFAIK.

The code works fine for less than 255 characters in each row of excel file.But for more than 255 characters , the excel file received has data upto 255 characters only.
Can someone please suggest how to send excel file with more than 255 characters in each row ?

How can I open pdfs with Acrobat directly from Firefox (Android)?

I would like to open pdfs directly with the Acrobat reader app, without downloading it (& saving it in the downloads folder). When I open a pdf, FF offers me several apps or a download, but not the Acrobat Reader, also Acrobat it mentioned as the standard application for opening pdfs.

The file must be downloaded for Adobe reader to be able to display the file. There is no way to display any file without downloading it.
