To readers iam having doubts about sending my ipod to apple about my battery problem , but i dont know if they send you a box to put your ipod in or send it differently , also i dont trust the post service these days what shall i do?

Once you've filled out the service request Apple will send you a box in which to return the iPod to them. This isn't via the postal service but by a carrier such as UPS. Once Apple are ready to send out a replacement, again it will by carrier.
If you want Apple to check out your iPod, you have no choice.

ok i am sending in my nano for repair today and i just called 1800-my-apple and they gave me aanother number to call 1800-263-3394 (if u live in canada) and then u just press the number one on ur phone for the english service and then press number 1 again when they ask the second question.then another comes up and then if urs is not a nano press one for ipods and then if it was a nano press five(all other products. then u have to hold a long time and every five minutes or so this recorded message will go like this:please hold,ur call is important to us the next available representative willserve u .......or somthung like that.then an actual person who works there will ask u where can she direct your call to or somthing and i said a technician and then we havw to wait another about 20 mins for the next techincian and then when they finallly come through u give them ur name/phone number with area code and u tell them the problem and if u say that u had tried everyhting they would consider to make a repair request for u and they give u your dispatch number and then in about 3 days u will get a box with instructions on wut to do and u put your ipod(no accessories or they will not be returned)and tape it up(included)and put the included label on top of the label that already is on top of the box and drop it off at a ups store or mail boxes etc(another brand)so that they can send it to apple.after everything is done u just wait and in about 2 weeks the box will come back with a fixed one or a new one.i no this because this time is my second time sending my nano there.i dunno the number for the usa one i am sorry,but the 1800-my-apple is still godd for the united states.
