How do I send part of a pdf?

I have the Adobe reader, but not Acrobat. How do I send part of a pdf file that I have to someone else? I tried copying and pasting the excerpt into a Microsoft Word document but when I do this the text prints out blurry. Thanks in advance for any advice!

Copy and paste will work with text, but you can loose formatting.
Graphics will not necessarily go over either.
On a Mac, you can use Reader or Preview and print to pdf the part of the
pdf you want. It won't be the same as the original, but it will be
close. On a PC (and on some Macs) you can fax the pages of interest.
Some fax drivers will allow you to save the Fax as a TIFF and you can
send that via the internet.
You can also, print to paper the pages of interest.
Place paper in an envelope.
Add address and stamp.
Drop in post box.

  • How to make only part of a PDF document editable?

I'm looking to see if there is a way to make only part of a PDF document editable. My problem is, I have pieces of collateral that some of our channel partners need to be able to add their logo to and then edit the contact information on them, but we don't want them to be able to change any of the main copy on these documents. The only thing I've been able to come up with as a solution is to create outlines of the text that I don't want editable, but I need the copy to be able to be read by computer systems for disability purposes. Does anyone have any ideas on something I could do for this? Or has anyone dealt with anything like this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi vward26,
You can use Acrobat to make only part of a PDF document editable.
    Kindly refer this FAQ:http://tv.adobe.com/watch/acrobat-x-tips-tricks/how-to-convert-just-part-of-a-pdf-file/

You will need Adobe Acrobat for this.

  • How do I send a large (23mb ) PDF file as an attachment in mail?

How do I send a PDF mail attachment in mail that is greater than the crazy limit of 23MB?  Thanks for your help!

Have you upgraded to Yosemite?  Then you could send the attachment using Mail Drop.
You can use Mail Drop to send files that exceed the maximum size allowed by the provider of your email account. Mail Drop uploads the large attachments to iCloud, where they’re encrypted and stored for up to 30 days.
If you have an iCloud account and you’re signed in to iCloud when you click Send, Mail automatically sends the attachments using Mail Drop. Mail Drop attachments don’t count against your iCloud storage.
If you don’t have an iCloud account, or if you’re not signed in, Mail asks you whether to use Mail Drop (select “Don’t ask again for this account” to always use Mail Drop).
If a recipient uses Mail in OS X Yosemite, the attachments are automatically downloaded and included in your message just like any other attachment. For other recipients, your message includes links for downloading the attachments and their expiration date.
You can turn Mail Drop on or off for an account. Choose Mail > Preferences, click Accounts, select your account, click Advanced, then select or deselect “Send large attachments with Mail Drop.”

  • How do I select part of a .pdf file to print?

I do not want to print the left side of this coupon:

This capability only exists when importing from a camera card or camera archive.
You can't select part of a clip to import from a hard drive movie file.

  • How do I send a filled out PDF w/o it showing up blank?

Using the Adobe Reader app on my iPad, I filled out a fillable PDF but when I try to email it, it is a blank form on the email.

The issue of not being able to view edits made, its because PDF viewing capability used by iOS mail does not support viewing edits. If you open emailed pdf in Adobe Reader (or any other viewer), all your filled text would be there.

  • How do I send a pdf of a graph from grapher to pages?

I use the program grapher for school work and to make graphs for my math classes.
in the grapher print window there is a way to automatically send a pdf of the graph to various programs including mail, iTunes, and Preview.
I am wondering if there is a way to send it directly to Pages. I have a feeling that it will involve Automator.
Can anybody tell me how to do this?

Another approach that could be useful if you have dozens of Grapher files: set up a virtual print-to-PDF printer with CUPS-PDF, https://bitbucket.org/codepoet/cups-pdf-for-mac-os-x/wiki/Home.  For further info, see this somewhat out-of-date article on an earlier version of CUPS-PDF: http://www.macworld.com/article/139518/2009/03/cupspdf.html.  By the way, I don't know whether CUPS-PDF still works under Lion.  My comments here are based on Snow Leopard.
Drag all .gcx files to the virtual print-to-PDF printer icon.  As CUPS-PDF does its job on each file, Grapher will open and close quickly with error messages to the effect that "Grapher quit unexpectedly," but the PDFs will be produced nonetheless.  Then drag all the PDFs into Pages.
    A couple of notes:
    1. The Grapher images rotate 90º as the PDFs are created.  There's probably a way to adjust CUPS-PDF to keep the Grapher orientation if that's important to you.
    2. The PDF image is dependent on the size of the Grapher window for each graph.  If a PDF reveals only part of the graph, open the .gcx in Grapher, reduce the window size, and resave the file before sending it through CUPS-PDF again.

  • How can I send a PDF file via my yahoo or google email programs?

I just downloaded some photos from a friend's camera, & I want to send copies via email. I created a PDF file, but can't figure out how to email the file out (it only offers to send via Windows Mail-which I don't have). Do I need to create a different kind of file for the pix, or do I just need to send one at a time?
